When it aired on tv it sounded much better.....i suspect you cannot hear the vocals due to the mono audio fold-down.

@mkt06 sure it must have been a great sound considering paul shaffer to be one of a specialist when it comes to produce the wall of sound BUT this mixing is just terrible, misses sax solo and two great vocalist....
