...I think next to Beck, Byrne is my fav. When I saw the movie 'Stop Making Sense', besides the incredible artistic order, I was thinking wtf, when Byrne says "ladies and gentlemen, the Tom-Tom-Club...and leaves the stage. Few years later...i stumble on Jerry Harrison's 'Casual Gods'....man, what an assemblence of talent! Nice to see all the positive comments e'one(my man Beck always gets negative comments about Scientology) Thx!

WOW! I agree with all the other comments, And I too, have Remain In Light etched in my feeble mind....funny how 'back in the day' all my friends thought Talking Heads were an unusual band...and 'categorized' them as a 'Punk' band. But the songs like 'wind in my heart' and the other one....i dont remember the title, but hindsight makes me think it's a song about michael jackson(He would see faces in movies...and magazines..etc.) what a trip. And talk about cool/funk'd up music!

What made "Remain In Light" amazing was that it took multiple listenings just to get a remote handle on the songs. For me, it wasn't until I saw them do them live with the expanded band in the fall of 1980 that it all came into vision. It was like staring at a Monet from 3 feet away and then stepping back 20 feet to reveal its brilliance.

i have listened to talking heads since i was 12/13...way back when these guys were in their element...Remain in Light & 77 are probably the best stuff they did...every song remainds me of being a kid - i absolutely think these albumns and this music is the best ever recorded...for me anyhow! -
