  • You are very sensible.

  • also i think that @KINGgutterface is so incredibly beautiful with all of her modifications. Soo amazingly beautiful and i wish society would see that as beautiful too. All these negative people on here are really fucking annoying. leave her alone, her face is not your face so you arent to one living with those mods so why the fuck do you care?

  • Im glad that this isnt an issue for me. My mom is very open with my mods. I just got my dimples pierced and she loves them, but i also have others(my ears stretched 3/4th, lip pierced) so she is used to me having metal in my face. Thankful she is okay with me modifying myself at my age. Parents that are for freedom of expression<3

And my mods are something that help me escape. They help me feel like less of an outsider in my own skin. Thank god for mods, or i wouldnt be here.

  • i was supposed to get my nose pierced for my 18th bday but my mom said to wait until i get a job :( she has one too!

  • every time i ask my parents "can i get snake bites, can i get my nose pierced" they always say no and then i ask why and they say its stupid and it makes me mad because they are not giving me a solid reason and also cant dye my hair e.e

  • You talk so much sense :) xx

  • @lubaaggi Wtf are you talking about.. You're 18 you can get anything done that you want

  • im 17 and i have my septum, both sides of my nose, my bridge, a dermal on my chest, my tongue and my ears are stretched to one inch. i have them all for a specific reason. my mom always says good luck getting a job but idgaf. my piercings are there for a reason and arent going anywhere:)

  • Smfh, I see all these haters with no life commenting and arguing they are such attention whores trolololo,

Like leave her alone, she's a amazing person with a beautiful personality, you guys that are hating should get a life and stop waisting your time commenting, because clearly she doesn't give 2 flying fucks about what you have to say about her

  • Just shoert thing i agree with you about the Earpiercing guns and think aswell that they should become illegal to use... Tho it's not always so bad with the results as it may show up ... I took my noosewing piercing about 3 years ago with one of thoose and it healed quickly and painfree. So i really think that it depends on how good in the healing your flesh is really.. Tho i agree the method is really stupid to use and it's moch more precise with the real tools and it's safer ofc.

  • I totally agree on your opinions! A few years a go I had friends do a lot of my piercings lucky me they didn't get infected but now that i'm older I understand how dangerous it really is!

  • Hey, I want my tongue split, I just absolutely love tongue splits. My mum's cool with it, she loves body modification. She let me get snakebites, and she's helping me with stretching my ear lobes (buying the tapers and plugs). I'm 14 years old though, so I'm not sure about getting my tongue split. Should I wait until I'm older? Will it cause problems with growth or anything along those lines? Please reply.

  • @ULTRAMAGGOT666 Yes.Wait! You are still growing and things can happen.Bod mods are a LOT of responsibility. It's good that you mom is supportive, but you cannot rely on her to be responsible for you.Besides, you may have doubts as you get older anyway and decide on another mod. When you get split, flavors in food won't be the same as you know it now.I suggest you look up videos on how they do the procedure for this as well.Patience is a virture. You won't regret the wait.

  • Hey Joji! I was wondering about this. I want to strecth my ears to a 0g Because I love the size and I think it looks amazing. My Mom will not let me talk to her about it. She won't let me do anything to my body. I was wondering if you think she is in the right or you think it's like alright for me? Please reply

  • Let me just add to your sayings and agree to NEVER get anything done at claires or Icing or anything! They have jacked up my ears before and if you are worried about the pain of needles, needles hurt way less both at the time of piercing and afterwards, the needles allow for much smoother healing and a better quality piercing in the long run. <3

  • @Socaldweller22 I've gotten my upper ears pierced by claires and wound up perfectly fine.I haven't researched as to why those guns/places are bad yet,but I will once I'm off this site.Even though I'm thorough in keeping clean and taking care of them back when they were still healing, you have me worried about doing business with them now.

  • I'm 18 already and my parents still won't let me get pierced ._. this sucks...

  • @Lubaaggi You're 18.You can still get pierced. What's the worst they can do?Ground you? Not the end of the world honey. But most importantly, think about what you really want and ask yourself if you're ready anyway. If they start with the whole,"my house,my rules" guilt trip just tell them,"It could be worse.I could be one of those kids that come home with cocaine rather than a piercing".Personally,if I had kids,I'd rather they have piercings than drugs.

  • Yeah, one of my friends did my labret and I still have the bump from it. I mean, I'm lucky, not a very noticeable scar. Same person also did my nose and monroe, I still have my nose done to this day, and it's holding up pretty well surprisingly. Also, very lucky with my monroe situation because there was no scarring whatsoever. But honestly, I'm almost 18 and I would like to have my septum done, it's something I've wanted for a very long time. I can wait for that one, you guys should too.

  • ears- 14 years old, snake bites- 15 years old, cheeks/bridge/nostrils/nipples/philtrum- 16 years old, self tongue split- 16 years old, self 00g flats biopsy punch-17 years old. I studied each procedure thoroughly and gained knowledge through licensed professionals all over on the internet and throughout travels. I've NEVER once had an infection/permanent damage to myself (other than scars). if you STUDY STUDY STUDY and you can mod safely. ALWAYS wear sterile GLOVES, use a NEW NEEDLE

  • So would it the kinda the same with like hair?

  • I had my ears pierced seven times! Not seven separate holes/earrings. They were done seven times, one hole each ear...between the ages of 4-10. With a piercing gun everytime and everytime they became painfully infected within two months and had to be removed. Ugh,awful.

  • And btw, this is really mature. The immature part of me is going "Fuck the parents, I'll do what I want" but you make really good points.

  • Can someone tell me why piercing guns are so bad? I have three piercings on my earlobes that I got with a gun and nothing really happened...what did I miss??

  • @SuicidalMickeyMouse2 I was going to post a very informative link but youtube won't let me. *lol*. Go to Google and type in 'piercing guns bacteria' and you will find a huge list of helpful links. :)

  • Thank you. KINGgutterface. :3

  • I mean on my own as an adult, not piercing myself.

  • Lol this is prolly the best advice I have ever heard someone give about body modification. Usually when people have them they are telling kids to defy there parents and to get that ever done, but your advice is great. Responsibility is key for things like this, they are not choices that should be made lightly, I want my tongue pierced. But my parents said no, so I'll just wait until I have the money and can do it on my own

  • i love you sooo much <3

  • John346729948 whatever his name is again, is clearly a virgin dying to get raped by a chicken

  • John3746 whatever his name is clearly an idiot.

  • ......I can't dye my hair either..

  • @Sarahlovesllamas Im sorry, :(

  • It took me three years just to get my parents to agree to let me get my snake bites.

  • i tried, but my parents are against it

  • My parents won't even let me dye my hair

  • This is a great guide. Thank you for sharing this with people - it's such an important message!!

  • i wonder what did the toung split cost bro?

  • I waited since I was about 5 years old to get a tattoo that I knew I wanted. The only reason I got it recently (Im 17), is because I had never changed my mind. It was what I had always wanted, and my mother recognized that. So since I wanted it so badly, my mother let me go get it done by a professional so it wouldnt be a home gun or something.

all and all we compromised. :D and i love my tattoo

  • Ok I have 16g earrings on both sides and I found these super amazing "Nevermore" Edgar Allen Poe earrings but unfortunately like most anaconda earrings they don't come in a 16g only 20''s now I got them pierced the tuesday before Christmas now is it ok/a good idea to downsize just for a pair of earrings

  • I've gotten my last 4 piercings in my ears done with an ear gun...all ended well but I did have a few problems and now I think the gun could be why. Now I know to stay away from them.

  • Time to start bashing a few of my friends heads against a wall now.

  • My friend pierced my cartilage on my ear with a needle. It hurt soo bad.It got infected.Good times tho lol

  • THANK YOU for pointing out ear piercing guns. When I was in fourth grade, my parents let me get my ears pierced. we did not know about the dangers of those evil things. I had severe infection in both sites that actually swelled so badly, we almost couldn't get the earring out and I have so much scar tissue that if I wanted to stretch my ears there is a much l have a huge risk of tearing

  • I watched my friend pierce his lip with a safety pin. Gross. This is a really good video. Send it to anyone of your friends thinking about body modifications

  • @patatas0071 you have issues.

  • Great video. I waited til I was 20 to get my lip pierced. The 5 year wait was totally worth it <3

  • You can draw?

  • Comment removed

  • Also, I love your voice~

  • I'm 18 and my parents don't, and will never approve of piercings in anywhere but the classical, single lobe piercing. I'm..not sure whether or not to go through with getting the small helix I have wanted for a few years now.

My mother bases her reasons on "class" -.- That I'll look like the equivalent of Australian "trailer trash"

    *sigh*

  • i want to get my toungue pierced with venoms and i also want to get a nose ring...but my parents reason for me not getting it is because they "dont like it" how do i convince them to let me get them..ive wanted them for so long and all my other piercings i have looked after really well and they know that...help?? haha

  • @kippling12 I have the same issue with my mom! I even wrote her a four page letter about why I want certain piercings, why she should let me get certain piercings, how much they would cost at different shops, pictures (so she knows what I'm talking about when I say spider bites), and how I would take care of them! She still said no.

  • -air color, it would be the only mod i would have. I just wanna hear your opinion :) oh! And thanks for the great video! -3

  • I'd like to hear your take on tattoos. I'm 15, going on 16, and there's this tattoo that iv'e been wanting for a while now. I've asked my parents if I could get it for my 16th birthday and they've repeatedly said no. This is something that i really want and am eventually planning on getting, but i'm not making a big deal out of it because i know my parents hate the idea of tattoos. I understand why, but I think I could handle it and prove myself responsible. Other than basic ear piercings and h

  • @spongezim2kyleferb i would wait a little longer i have a tattoo that i totally wish i didnt have because i was young ( i dont regret it, i just wish it were different) Draw it on your self and test it out first make sure you LOVE it, and parents will be parents gotta live with what they say sadly. but good luck on your adventure into tattoo land!

  • @spongezim2kyleferb It is absolutely illegal to get a tattoo under 18, even if you do have consent. Even if an artist DID agree to tattoo you, it means that they aren't ethical and you should STAY AWAY. Just wait, trust me. It will be so worth it. There's a reason you have to be 18. No 15 year old wants to admit this but seriously if I'd gotten the tattoos I'd wanted at that age I'd be having them lasered off right now lol.

  • ive only ever gotten my ears pierced at Claires, and i think it was when i was 5 or 6 that they got the gun stuck in my ear, in both ears. -_- i later got one done by a family friend, and it hurt less and healed better than the ones done by the 'professionals'.

  • I got my second ear piercings at Claire's, and I regret it. One of my ears will periodically get infected, no matter how much I clean both my ear and the studs. Plus, it takes a terribly long time to heal. I don't know if it is because of HOW they pierce it, but still. I'm all for getting rid of the piercing guns.

  • I wish someone told me not to get my ears pierced by a piercing gun earlier. My right earring got stuck because of that stupid gun and I had to go to the emergency room to get it out.

  • I'm 18 and I have my earlobes pierced once, which according to my mom is the only "socially acceptable" piercing and all others are disgusting and low-class. I really want more, but both of my parents look down on body modification and treat it as some disgusting, horrible thing that would break their hearts if I got it. Since I'm 18, I'm legally allowed to do what I want, but they've made it clear that they'd be forever heartbroken if I did.. but I really want more, and it's my body. ;_;

  • Comment removed

  • @blahblahcargreyblah Then do it. If your parents really are that stupid, they deserve to "be forever heartbroken". No offense.

  • I feel I should go bash a couple of my friends' heads against the wall now. :3

  • As the owner of several mods I must say it IS a problem finding a job. Yes, there ARE jobs out there who are okay with it, but I think it's important to know that most of them ARE NOT. And in my experience, most of the jobs I've worked who were okay were p/t or minimum wage. It's important not to run out and get a mod on your 18th bday-plan ahead. If you're going to be looking for work, hold off. Make sure you CAN have one at all or give yourself enough time to heal and switch in a retainer.

  • A friend of mine got her nose pierced from a piercing shop. Now the guy who did it got a degree in piercing and knew his shit. About a month or 2 later where her nose ring was there was a little bump. What happened, why is this ring doing this to her?

  • @MrMerchiodos It could be for various reasons, a little scar tissue may have formed or it may be a small infection, in any case, if the piercing is looked after carefully and properly then that should go away after a little while. This happened to my nose piercing when I first got it. As long as the bump isn't large, overly painful or badly infected keeping it clean and letting it heal should do that job, though, if she's having a lot of trouble with is she should talk to her piercer :)

  • When I was 15 I was really dumb and was dead set on getting snake bites only because I thought it looked cool. My mom kept telling me no though and THANK GOD. 2 years later, I know I would have completely regretted it. They do look cool, but not for me. But I did wait until I was 17 to get my first couple of ear piercings. And I'm really happy with them ^ ^ I waited for a reason other than "they look cool"

  • My parents were totally against me having anything but my ears done. I had wanted my lip pierced since I was 12, but ended up waiting until I was 21 to get it, even though I could have at 18. I waited the extra years because 1. It would be my first facial piercing and I wanted to make sure I really wanted it and 2. My parents were still against it and I was nervous of their reactions. When I finally got it done, they teased me about it, but that's it. They now just accept it as a part of me.

  • Finally someone who understands. Also, you look very handsome =)

  • Whoa I feel so lucky. I had no idea that piercing guns could be so unclean.Haha I won't be using those anymore..

  • You're a genuis... I wish you could just come to my school and give a seminar. Around 80-85% of my classmates did their own snakebites. 1, it's turning into a trend here. And 2, they're stupid for doing it themselves. It makes me really sad and irritated.

  • only have to be 16 where i live for most piercings :)

  • Question: I plan on eventually getting a bellybutton piercing. Does weight and/or belly button shape affect the piercing's infection rate in any way? Simply asking because I have a caved in belly button that seems to extend for miles. (That sounded weird)

Btw, have you done any tats? I'd like to know so I can have advise upon getting one.

Thanks for taking the time to making this video. Cheers!

  • but the problem is I'm 16 and my parents don't want any modification done AT ALL not even as simple as ears so I guess I'll have to wait a couple of years

  • I got my lip pierced mainly because a band member had it, I wanted it too. But I still have it even though I don't like that band anymore.

  • This is a really good video, every 16 year old should be shown this video.

I'm not sure about America, but here you can legally get most piercings at 16 and everything else (tattoos, scarification, dermals, more intimate piercings) are 18, which I think is a really good intro for kids into the modification world. It means that they can get safely pierced at a fairly young age, but only piercings that are reasonably low risk so that they can get used to the concept of aftercare.

  • My parents say I can't even when I'm 18!

    But I'm going to anyways.

  • I waited til I was 18 to get my first body piercing, which was on the eyebrow. No way was my mom gonna let me get one before I was 18. No big deal. I feel somewhat glad I waited.

  • For the longest time, I wanted my nose pierced. But my mom didn't want me to have any facial piercings, so we settled on a belly button ring, which I loved, and I took great care of. after that she let me get my ears pierced again at Claire's, before either of us really knew it was bad. But I've never got an infection or anything like that, thankfully. Settling can be good, sometimes.

  • Could you maybe do a video on tips for the modern dandy? I think it would be pretty interesting c:

  • Question? My mom wont let me get my tongue pierced (Im 16) and her reason is ONLY SLUTS GET THAT DONE. It really bums me out. Ive done all my research and I told her that. But Its really annoying that she doesnt have a good reason for it. Its sad. Im mature enough and I know I can do it, But its just super annoying that I have to wait

  • My mother didn't allow anything but ear piercings until I was 18 years old and then she flat out stated I could do what I wanted. As a mother myself now, I would never allow my daughter to be pierced with a piercing gun. I worked at Claire's and I clearly remember the gun falling apart as I pierced a child's ear. After that, I didn't pierce again. Oh and the Walmart piercing earrings basicly rotted in my ear as a teen, even with me being an avid clean nut.

  • I've wanted my lip pierced for at least a year and a half now but my mum wont let me till i'm 16. I started streching my ears five and a half months ago (one is at 5mm the other 4mm because i went too gast with the 4 and had to downsize) and my mum is really against them but we comprimised and she's let me stay at 5mm for a while (i want to go up to 1cm)

  • Quite a few months ago, i got my second hole on my ears done with a gun. I was planning to gauge it and keep the bottom small so that i could still wear normal earrings.

Now that it's healed, i don't think i can stretch it because there has to be scar tissue. I read online they won't stretch correctly.

I wish i had known, but it's too late now.

Do you have any tips? Should i even try to stretch them, or is it better to just leave them alone?

  • I wanted to take snakebites for two years, finally I got'em done. My mom isn't into piercings at all (well, ear-piercings are ok) and she didn't want me to take them. But when I got home with my newly taken snakebites, she just looked at me with overbearing in her eyes - and then I asked for a hug, while joking with the fact that they weren't contagious, and she smiled(just adding that she had been threatning with being kicked outta the house if I took any facial piercings before the age of 18).

  • All of my ear piercings (3/ear, and one had to be redone) were done at Claire's.

Now that I know about how bad piercing guns are, I feel so lucky that only one of them got infected and had to be redone ._. I'm under 18 and I have lots of ideas for tattoos and piercings I want, that my parents won't let me get. But I'm perfectly fine with waiting, and I even understand why they won't let me get them (for the most part..my mom won't let me get ear cartilage piercings because they're "gross" XD).

  • @xxxdeadgirl587xxx - *why they won't let me get them YET

  • will you make/ do you have a video about your dreads? I'm looking into getting some and i don't know which ones or types i should get please :)

  • I got my ears pierced when I was 5. I know, pretty young I guess. I think they used a gun back then, but nowadays I do it at a jewelery shop. They are actually licenced and do know what they're doing, and they use these small plastic things and pierce the ear with the earring itself. I don't know if that's concidered safe, but all my other piercings in my ears healed very quickly and I've had no problem with them whatsoever. Although my mom's against facial piercings, which sucks.

  • I pierced my ears myself many times, I was stupid enough to do that. 2 of the piercings turned out ok, but it wasn't worth the almost ripped ear and horrible scars. Thank you for telling people that they're idiots :3

  • THE LEGENDARY, YET ELUSIVE DREADS RE-SURFACE! GOOD MAN!

  • now im 21 and my mom said every time (for one year!) she saw me put it out of your lip.well ive pierced myself with a sterile needle. all was ok, but my mother didn´t like piercings in the face.when i was 18 i was in a piercing studio to let my industrial done, she didnt know , but when she saw it the first time there was big trouble.my mother also allowed it to get a nose piercing with 14! why cant i get other piercings! i cant understand...thats so arrgghhhh!

  • What frustrates me most about not being allowed piercings is that my dad's only reason for not letting me is that he "doesn't like it."

I just find it really annoying that he's not even willing to give me a chance to prove I can be responsible and he can't come up with a real reason.

It doesn't help that I'm impatient and only 14, so I have four years to wait until I can do anything.

  • I know I'm 17 with 12 piercings and two tattoos, but I totally agree that 18 is a good age to do all this stuff. Yeah, piercings are just holes, but there's a lot of thought that goes into it and most people my age do it because it's 'in'. I got all of my piercings and tattoos unprofessionally done which was very dangerous. I have troubles getting jobs because of my facial piercings and at my current job I have to take out 6 of my piercings which is annoying. Take the time to think about it =/

  • Thanku for posting this, Joji. Very smart and informative. It is very responsible, even though it's not your job to parent these people, I applaud your efforts- knowing that alot of your fans do look to you for guidence and support. I am very glad that you did post this. It shows that you do care about your fanbase, and I think that is amazing. You really are a caring and intelligent man who does give a shit, and that is inspiring. Good luck to you.

  • NEVER perice yourself with ANYTHING!!!!! I peirced my lip with a safety pin and it got infeced and it turned yellow oozy.... DONT do it!!!! NOT worth it! it was a pretty bad mistake!

  • @john37406 Beauty is subjective. His followers thinks that he is a wonderful beautiful person. Fat bitch? He's in rather good shape. He does what makes him happy. Confidence is beauty, as long as you think that you are beautiful, you are. And Joji loves the way he looks. I think that you obviously have some kind of major problem with your own self if trolling youtube users completely unprovoked is your daily routine. You must be a terribly disgusting person, inside and out.

  • @john37406 well, i'm going to stop you right there in the first sentence, because if you knew anything about this person, you'd know that you are to address him as a male. So, fuck you and your ignorant hate speech.

ALSO, I have a girlfriend who I've been dating for almost 2 years, and we are very much in love with each other. But it's okay, I can tell that your small troll brain is just running out of things to ramble about, because you're just a terrible person. But I forgive you ;)

  • @john37406 im done arguing this with you, you're clearly ignorant and have no comprehension of backing up the hate you support so dearly. You're one one-millionth of a cumshot your mom should have swallowed.

  • I know this has probably nothing to do with the video, but Oh my god is that really Wolfsheim in the beginning? I didn't even know that people outside Germany know that song!

  • I know someone who has got a lot of piercings and she made them all herself but to be serious... maybe she just had luck all the time...? Dunno. I would rather go to a shop and get it done there. They know what they're doing just like you said. I will turn 18 this year and probably get my lips pierced then. My mother is totally against piercings (also because she's afraid I won't get a job and it's "dangerous"... -.-) but luckily in a few months I am old enough to decide what's best for me.

  • I'm ashamed to say this. I wanted my ear's pierced when I was about eight year's old. My parent's were ok with it but didn't want to pay the price for them so instead they bought a piercing gun and a bunch of studs and let my aunt pierce them for me. I remember a roughly six month healing process on said ear piercings. They hurt so bad for that entire healing process- and after that episode I vowed to never get another piercing again.

  • Here I am 22 year's old and I have gotten my labret, snakebites, bridge, nipples, and clitoris hood all pierced by reputable shop. They all healed up within six week's, most of them only hurt for a few day's after being done. Looking back at it all now I feel like slapping my self silly for ever letting someone use a gun on me.

  • Joji, I wish my parents were as open-minded as yours. Im 21 and my mom STILL threatens to kick me out of the house for my piercings. She just doesnt like them at all. And my dad and grandma yell at her for "letting" me get them done and try to convince her to throw me out of the house. They do the same thing over my transition. And I have been kicked out and was homeless for a year and a half, so I know shes serious. =/ Im physically unable to get a job until after Ive had top surgery too. x.x

  • What if you want to become a piercer? And throw out hollow needles after a singular use and everything?

  • I only have 6 ear piercings and each of them were done with a gun. Including my cartilage. I didn't know it was bad at the time.

  • Im 25 and I still ask my parents about any mods I get not for permission mind u I dont need that but I ask out of respect for them my dad gets exited when I get new tattoos and wants to watch me have them done my mom is fascinated by piercings but cant watch me have them done it makes her cringe lol

  • I got my ear pierced when I was 20 and even though I was very careful and I knew what I was doing, it took about 2 month to heal. I'm pretty sure, if I had been younger, I probably would have lost my ear to the infection XD

What I'm trying to say is, I'm glad you made this video and I'm glad that you tell your audience your honest opinion!

  • Joji, is it bad I play with my lip piercing almost constantly? I've had it for about 4 months (I have a circular barbell in it) and I can't see to take my hands off of it.

  • Your refusal to be wishy-washy about body modifications is refreshing. :) I'm 24 years old and all of the mods I have were serious long-term considerations and I would hope other people hold them with the same reverence instead of some fleeting fad. That isn't the case, unfortunately, but again, your honesty is much loved. :) I absolutely agree.

  • One modification I would never do without serious consideration are tattoos. For both of my tattoos I printed out pictures of EXACTLY what I was getting and put them in my house/wallet/car/books/etc. so that I would see them every day. After 2-3 years I knew I wouldn't get sick of looking at them ever. I think anyone could do the same with tongue splits, post pics of it(gory and all)everywhere you will be during the day and see if you can handle it. Helps prove to the 'rents you're ready, imo.

  • I agree with you entirely. I mean, my mother doesn't know about my piercings, but that isn't really too big of a deal seeing as our relationship isn't great. My father does the "I'm not happy, but fine" thing, but I at least went to good shops to get pierced. It bugs me when I see people going to a friend's and said friend doing eight or so piercings in the night with only a couple of needles. Makes me cringe.

  • You sir are amazing. Enough said <3 much love

  • I'm 21. I got my ears pierced when I was 5. Since I turned 20 I have pierced my ears again,my septum, my nose and had the back of my neck done professionally. I sterilise everything, I buy pre-sterilised gear and use sterilised pierce proof gloves. And read up everything I can on every single piercing. And all I have to say is. Save the fucking money and go to a pro! It'll take moments, they'll give you what you need to take care of it, and tell you how. Don't take the risk!

  • When I was young I wanted my bellybutton pierced and my mum let me, a few months later I wanted my eyebrow pierced my mum let me again, thing is it didn't stop there. I think piercings are addictive :-) I now haVe bellybutton top and bottom eyebrow tounge twice madonna, ears twice, I only trusted 1 person to pirce me as the one time I did go elsewhere they burst a blood vessel in my stomoch so now i can't get nymore piercungs as the guy died :'( x

Ps please dont take offence but r u androgenist

  • your fucking amazing :P

  • I have been wanting my septum done for years now (i'm 19) and I still can't get it done because of my mom's rules. But I shall continue to wait and when I get it done, I will die of happiness ~(^-^)~

  • Waiting is not that hard. I was 17 when I got my labret done after a year of asking. I already had 4 ear piercings (2 are stretched). About a month after I turned 18 I got my first tattoo. I asked nearly 2 years for my tattoo and when I got it done it was for a personal reason. My tattoo is a memorial and my piercings I got for me. If you want them you'll wait it out.

  • i got my lobes done when i was 10. my mum won't even let me get my second lobe hole done till im 15 (i'm 13 at the moment, turning 14 in a few months time.), her only answer to 'why?' is "because i said so". she doesn't have a proper reason so.... im very very confused.

  • @Mexena1 oh, and also ive died my hair once (died it black, my hair is naturally light brown nearly blonde) and she said i cant dye it again till im 15...

  • Oh yeah..piercings r cool too.

  • Jesus...might sound dorky here.but you could be talking about your favorite brand of fish stiks n ill be enthralled...you got a fan in me!!!HANDS DOWN!!!

  • I'm so glad that my mom let me get piercings early. I got my bridge pierced at 14-15 and I haven't stopped getting any. It's lovely. And I always tell my friends that have that problem to at least wait till they're 18 or be able to show their parents that they are responsible enough to deal with them.

  • Oh my gosh, I had this huge argument with my mom about getting my tongue pierced. She was popular in high school and idgaf about those sort of things, but I think she just wants me to be like everybody else.

  • im sorry to bother you but i would love your opinion on it. im 13 years old & want to stretch my ears. Everyone i mention this to say that im way to young & that i will regret it in the future. i know im extremely young, but this is a mortification i have wanted for over 2 years. but i only want to stretch my ears to a size 4 gauge. i dont want this mortification because its a trend or my best friend has it i truly want it for me and my own reasons. i would love to hear your opinion. thanks <3

  • I'm Glad I Subscribed haha Great Video!

Veryy Insightful. I Didn't Know The Part About Safety Pins, OR Piercing Guns...

Great Advice, Although Most of it Doesn't Apply To Me, I Can Pretty Much Do Whatever I Want Within Reason (Dyed Hair, DIY Clothing, Piercing, Whatever)

I Got My Snakebites When I Was 14 From A Friend That Used A Sterile 14 Gauge Hollow Tip Needle, I'm 16 Now & I'm Glad To Know I Didn't Completely Fuck up haha

Great Video. Especially The Part On Commitment Opposed To Trend.

  • As a mother of 2 teen boys and being the teen I can speak on both sides. I have tattoos I regret from being young and dumb and lcountless long gone piercings. I'd rather my kid get another hole that can close up than a tattoo he has to live with forever.

  • I'm not allowed to get anything pierced other than my ears, because my parents think even if I got a simple nose or lip piercing, I would never be able to get a job and little kids would be afraid of me. I've proven them wrong so many times, but for some reason they still won't listen...

Anyway, great video, wonderful topic. :)

  • @TamberElla99 Your parents are right about finding a job. Aside from my ears, my only visible piercings are my nose and eyebrow and I have had a lot trouble getting work because of them. Many people, especially older people don't approve of piercings and/or find them intimidating and company owners don't want to risk losing business because of a hole in someone's face. Some companies won't even allow retainers. Right or wrong, I say wait.

  • A kid i knew said he used a piece of pencil lead......

  • As a piercer, I thank you for taking the time to make this video reaching out to others. It is very rare to find these days. All of the topics you addressed have become quite a serious epidemic. I find myself fixing people up left and right from botched piercings. It upsets me that so many irresponsible youths are risking their health (often for a mere trend). Patience is indeed a virtue! Respect your body, keep yourself educated, and be safe! :)

  • I'm 15 and had my Labret done about 4 months ago by my brother-in-law, and I've wanted my Septum pierced for about a year now. Would you say Its an okay mod I should go for at my age and if so what else do you think I could do to convince my mom to let me go for a second piercing?

  • I was 18 when I started stretching my ears since my family did not want me to do it. I'm only 19, but a year of doing this and they are rather healthy and I cannot wait till I am able to reach my goal size. I have been planning to tattoos since I was 13 and I'm waiting till I'm 21 to get them, just in case my mum stops paying for schooling.

  • my brother was 18 when he got his industrial pierced and he went out drinking and bumped it against stuff, but he thought it would be okay. After a couple of days it started to swell, bleed and ooze pus. He would wake up covered in dried blood because of it and be in alot of pain. He's fine now, after he decided to actually take care of it but if he hadn't who knows what would have happened next

  • "i want -insert piercing name here-, i've been wanting it FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS OMQ~"

-_- why tell that part. honestly, it makes no sense to me, at all why that is important, children.

Regardless, i love this video. <3 lurve you joji~

  • Three more years and I can get what I wan't. :3 Right now I'm dying my hair instead.

  • Just 5 minutes before I saw this, I was arguing with my mom about getting a nose piercing.

  • mom mom has let me get my eyebrow peirced and no wis telliing me ( even though i took good care of it, and still do ) that i cant get anything more untill i am 18. whe i ask for a reason my mom tells me that shes afraid if scarring and me regretting it, or that im too younge, it basically changes everytime. i have no clue what to do. she wont even let me peirce my ear a 3 time when she has 4 in her ear, a nose ring, and is getting her belly button :(

  • My parents stop me from doing so much. I wan't to have tattoos and be a tattoo artist. I don't plan on getting them soon but when I'm older. My parents keep threatening to never speak to me again. :/

  • can you do a vid on parents not letting you preserve animals?

  • i pierced my nose with a saftey pin...i was so stupid

  • I got my lip pierced at 12. My parents thought I was mature enough, and I proved to them that I certainly was, so I was able to get it! But, the stupid school that I go to, decided to flip out when I wore a clear retainer in it. Being 13 now, my parents said I can get it re-pierced, or I could look at getting different piercings. :D

  • woooaaah. the left side of your room <3

  • Thank you for this video. I want to show this to my soon to be teen daughter. She isn't into many mods or anything. She has asked for a second ear piercing, and that's fine. I just want to wait until spring break, so I can take her to someone I trust. You listed every reason why I say to wait on mods. It's not that I am against them, I'm not. Just give it time, if you want it in your early teens, and you still want it later on, less likely you won't regret it.

  • I got my Snake Bites at 14, I got my first tattoo (crown on wrist) at 13, LOL.... My mom took me both times! Now I'm 17, I have a whole tattoo sleeve, a micro dermal in my neck, tongue ring, belly and nipples! I don't regret any of the thing i've got done, mom parents accepted my alternative lifestyle I am currently a tattoo apprentice! :)

  • This is actually such a good video. Some girl I know put a picture on facebook of her ear with a kilt pin through it (it's a really big safety pin we put on our uniform skirts to keep them closed)

  • My mom won't let me get my tongue pierced because she thinks it makes me look like a lesbian. I want vemon bites, but I know those are dangerous. It's only three months away before I turn 18, but then I'm scared she'll throw me out if I do that. How can I convince her that it won't make me look more like a lesbian? I already have my labret and septum done.

  • I want to get my septum pierced, I don't really understand my parents sometimes since the only reason they won't let me get it done is because it's "ugly". It's really annoying how people can be so closed minded when it comes to piercings.

  • I remember having my labret as well as my cartlidge pierced with a safety pin....in college. smh I took them out thankfully a month after. You have to be mature about these things. Age does not always mean maturity. You have to really be smart, infections, scars, and even in some cases hospitalization/sever injury or death can occur if you rush into mods. If you have to ask permission you are too young, imo and even then you still have to be smart about it. Be responsible... great vid btw

  • People say you can't get a job being modded. That's not true at all. However, if someone wants to work in the corporate world (depending on the company and job) most wouldn't take someone with mods. Sad but true. :\

    Anyway, great video! :D

  • My problem is that I get my mom to agree by doing what you said, but at the last minute she goes back on it saying she never actually said I could... when she did.
