Cap and Trade has nothing to do with pollution. I watched a long video by an environmentalist lawyer-lady critic of Big Oil and their monopoly, but the Oil Monopoly and the Banking Monopoly are in cahoots. Cap and Trade is about creating a new DERIVATIVES MARKET for Wall Street and the Super Rich.

That's how "American business" and global investment stays on top, shuffling paper back and forth. Govt will *guarantee* cash flow on trading carbon credits, so those are a valuable "asset".

All the half assed attempts that are made because the politicians are trying to appease the voters instead of ensuring our future as a species aren't going to stop climate change. Henry Ford "got it" pertaining to our government. He opposed big oil, big government, and stuck with our founding fathers principles. 80% of our problems are due to free markets not being allowed to function on their own, without government manipulation. I do know that Republican's havn't been any better for this country than Democrats, with the exception of Ronald Reagan. Nobodys perfect, perhaps rep's have been 10% better, but we've been heading down this road for a long time.

Ironically, if we let free markets play out, we wouldn't have such pollution issues. The model T was designed to run on alcohol that could be manufactured by indiv owners. Oil companies had more to do with prohibition than the do gooders.

It is absolutely treasonous. This kind of spending must be damaging to the US in the long term. You have a debt of 11 trillion, add in over 2 trillion in deficit spending this year alone, then add another trillion plus for government healthcare, and another 7 trillion plus for this cap and trade program - you're up to over 20 trillion dollars! That's a virtual doubling of all outstanding debt. It's outrageous and stupid.

It is getting scary. The propaganda is getting thick but these days thanks to the internet its easy to see right through it and hear the truth about things like global warming. Which is probably the reason they want to control our connections the same way China does. I wonder how far they will take this global warming propaganda? Will they get us in wars with countries that are polluting and killing the planet? They were saying swine fly was worse in Mexico because of the air pollution.
