i think so, even though thats the same engine thats in the firestorm, it might be alright if the clutch bell was changed to a 13t instead of a 15t, so it gets goin faster and theres no need for 50 mph top speed, unless all u want to do is go 50mph up and down the street with stupid slow take offs.

yeah its rotostart, idk if its the engine, gearing, or what, but i even paid to have the hpi tuned and they couldnt get it to take off anything like the gt2, its so sluggish, then at about 20 mph it just lights up and flies up to about 50 mph, while the gt2 was always capable of wheelies and a smooth powerband, gt2 will wheelie at 20 mph if u want it to, idk, i messed with that mt2 for like a month and got sick of its slowness, maybe a different engine is the answer,

ive seen mostly the UK ones are pull, and the US ones are roto. so if its roto u gotta have a 6 cell 7.2 battery and charger for the rotostarter, i tried a cheapo dtx shark 1500 nicd and it spun the motor like twice and went dead lol, so i got a little better batt, a venom 3600 nimh, it will last for about 100 starts.

oh yeah definately, i actually let it idle for about 3 tanks before giving it any throttle, (i had to give it a little to start it the 1st time) i used O'donnell 20% car, by about the 6-7 tank i was full on it, let me know if u get a rotostart or a pullstart, mine came roto, i keep seeing peoples coming pullstart, idk why, i personally like the pullstart, but some people hate it, its very easy to use the rotostarter, no effort at all, but i like to just have to carry the glow igniter with me,

i am actually still deciding on which rc to get. its between the nitro rustler and the mt2 g3.0. ive read forums and people seem to like both of em. but, the mt2 does have four wheel drive and does 45mph. the rustler has 2wd and does 50mph and costs a little less. prolly gonna get the mt2, but not 100% positive.
