  • Ken Block thinking... "How long is this gymkana?" hahahah love ken block!

  • he had the greatest job ever and making a ton of money. huhhh.... im so jealous...

  • there definitely nothing wrong with that :)

  • to the dumbcunts defending this over rated poser boy, hes nothing but good at rehearsing a circus act!!! he cant even drive of what spectators expect!!!! he is nothing but a waste of wrc placement!! theres many talented rally drivers out there than this yank wank! hes only as useful as a driving around a billboard!!!

  • the copilot talkes, like hes telling a story xD

  • ok, this really reminds me my mom driving me to school, nothing special

  • that's a lot of pressure. I mean if you fuck up and understeer you could kill at least 10 people.

  • @jian2069 That's nothing compared to 80's when there were hundreds while you were going at 120kph

  • that turbo wine reminded me of the dentist :/

  • Ken is an excellent driver, his car control skills are absolutely amazing. But on a WRC level he just is not ready. He needs to buckle down and get some points or stick to gymkhana. I love rally racing and do it myself, and he is in WRC so its not like he is a terrible driver, he just has a long way to go.

  • i think he drives really good not to mention this road is really fucked up

  • block needs to stick to drifting, his skill at road rally is minute. cautious, and sloppy. hes done great for himself, and im only jelous of his advantages.

  • wow, some spectators are gonna get killed sooner or later

  • @Joel35335

Why don't you go get your rally license, find a sponsor and car and team and co-driver, do the testing, walk the courses, write your pacenotes, and push your skills to their max trying to get better at an event you've not done before.

Once you've done all that, then you can start making assumptions about Ken Block. He's done all that, and now he's doing what he wants. Give the man some respect, and remember that he's brand fucking new to WRC. He needs time to learn.

  • @KwasiMounsou You mad, boy.

  • @KwasiMounsou Block has not done that, Block is the founder of DC Shoes, he's a millionaire, he sold off his company and with the millions he had left he entered a rookies rally of America, he came 4th overall, then started his choreographed gymkhana videos, and gained popularity through that, he is only in WRC because it raises the profile of the sport. Hundreds of future Sebastien Loeb's are out there, but they don't have the funds like Block has.

  • keep going to the red! 'oooohhh shit'

  • listening to this with headphones is weird as fuck. engine noises in the left ear and pace notes in the right lol

  • estuve en ese tramo.un infierno.realmente digno de ver.hermosa cordoba como siempre.el año proximo estaremos.aguante trenque lauquen

  • ITS'A ME! MARIO! >.<

  • im pretty sure we all here can do better than that.........IN OUR DREAMS !!!!!!!!!!

  • What the hell happend to the wrc ? I miss the days of Peugeot, skoda, mitsubishi, subaru etc etc, its just got really really boring the last few years imo, and Im confident that block will get better in the next few years, it takes time to learn :)

  • @packer114 money man money it got to expensive to do!

  • oh god, wtf is this? lol what's all the fuss about this guy? he's not a rally driver.

  • guys jusst because hes braking early doesnt mean its wrong. u r supposed to brake early or hed lock up . and if u think dats slow then go and see other onboards.

  • if this is the best US rally driver, we should feel sorry for then

he should get out of wrc and go spin on a pole, let the grown ups drive

  • @Drugaats ROFLMAO

  • I have a house in that place. On weekends I go there and do that same road on a 2007 Fiat Palio 1.3, and I tell you, IT IS DIFFICULT. I destroyed a wheel once..

  • Comment removed

  • looks slow for some reason?

  • fucking intense. lol at the end when slowed down and thought he passed the finish line

  • Didn't he just start rather than being groomed since childhood like most professional drivers? The fact that he made it through without crashing is impressive based on that alone.

  • The co-driver is giving him directions in very specific details. Turns are rated by how sharp they are in numbers. They only get to go through the course once before the actual start so they need to have a co-driver navigate them. It's not like a regular track where you know where every turn is. One mess up from the co-driver could result in catastrophe

  • hey, uhmm,, what does the co-driver do? what's he saying?

  • its not about the experience, its about the determination. ;)

  • Dirt3 on the side lol

  • he only drift when the people are seenig :P

  • Very over rated wanna be hot shot is all there is to say about Ken Block, his Gymkhana videos are good, but he doesn't just do one course, he does each corner around 60 times which he admitted in the making of gymkhana video, and he gives himself major credit.

  • Kudo's for an American joining a sport the rest of the world does. Its very rare for someone whos good in America to actually leave the small pond, so Kudo's to ken for that.

  • Wow, so many people dislike Ken Block. He's only been in wrc for what, one year? Of course he's not going to be top dog. Even though he isn't doing that great, he's helping the sport grow here in America. Many people have just started to get into rally becuase of him.

  • ken block is far from the best driver in the world. give a true driver a decent car and he will be able to maximize its potential and give strength to its weaknesses. i personally give myself at least 3 days out of the week to go out and get my car to somewhere around 70% of its limits on roads much like these whether it be on snow or dirt. anything on tarmac is stupid and dangerous. i know ken is wasting time necessary for testing and practice by whoring out his gymkhana driving to the media.

  • lmao at some of the comments. maybe instead of being the experts on the driving abilities you give the guy some credit for actually getting off his arse and having a good go at wrc. he's got more talents in his left bollock than most of the fucktard comment makers on youtube.

if the idiots feel hes braking too early or not pushing how about you all go show us next year and show loeb how much of a slow driving grandad he is?

  • @xdrseasons

hes fucking shit! im surprised he actually finished this stage without crashing

  • @BKsMassive yea u r better...right?

  • @1984Shakur

lmao im 17 and have only been driving for 6months...

but give anyone time and im sure they will be better than ken blocks.

  • @BKsMassive if u r only driving for 6 months how the hack can u now what real driving is? i drive 4 past 10 years but i dont spread shit like u on a wrc driver bitch!!!!

  • @1984Shakur

lmao your fucking Italian, your going to change sides.

and i dont give a shit, ken blocks is fucking shit and shouldn't be allowed in the WRC

  • @BKsMassive u don't know what driving means,so go on u r fucking chanell and listen some music instead of eating shit on this one....lol

  • @BKsMassive

HAHAHAHA.. This kid has 6 months driving and comes here and says what is right or not in WRC.. come on!! Please go play your shitty rally games.

  • @BKsMassive lol and that comment sums up my original post perfectly. look forward to seeing you out pace everyone next year then

  • 4 words: Ken is stunt driver

  • @2ane71n

Agreed Ken Block is a stunt driver and a super hero figure for 11 year old kids in USA. Nothing more, and i don't like him coz of it, it is like he is stealing the fame from real rally drivers.

  • @Debesukaleejs i dont dislike Ken Block cos i love gymkhana vids but he doesnt belong to wrc he's too slow...he should go back to Rally USA! if a "rally driver" crashes his car on shakedown he/she really is crap!

  • @Debesukaleejs That's retarded. Yes he's a stunt driver, a great one at that, but stealing fame? That's bullshit. He's GIVING them fame by attracting attention to the sport. I agree he doesn't belong in the WRC, but he has done very good for someone who only started 6 years ago at age 37.

  • hey WRC, i have a request. any footage of ken block in a WRC race where he goes off! that couldn't be too hard to find.

  • hm...onboards should be actually from inside the car not this shit

  • ken block is richer, more talented, more famous and has alot more fun than all of you haters so just stfu and watch the video. i bet almost everyone that will watch this video would take any chance they got to race a car in th WRC, whether they were shit or not, so stop hating on ken for doing something he enjoys.

  • Loeb is in trouble!! Lmao

  • wow in youtube r really good rally driver .....

  • He just doesn't push hard enough. I see him lifting and braking at corners that he needs to go flat out on. Not to mention how early he brakes. Maybe he's just not confident in his car.

But either way, guys like Solberg and Loeb make Ken look like a rookie.

  • all you guys who are gonna hate just fuck off he does his best for the audience so shut up and appreciate some people's talents

  • Jenson Button in the advert, now he is a proper driver :)

  • My grandma is faster than ken block.

  • @NottinghamForest22 fuck up faggot lets see you behind the wheel

  • @angusis2fast4u he doesn't deserve to be in the WRC.

  • So he finally finished his first race?

  • @Choleer finally........ he's bollocks

  • jejeje 12:43 keep going to the red!

  • yep this guy is is a true legend. i hope to see him this year at wales 2011

  • I like Ken Block!!!!!!! He is wonderful!!

  • Este tramo es en realidad el SS10 Las Jarillas - Falda del Carmen.

This section is actually the SS10 The Jarillas - Falda del Carmen

  • Why dislike something like this? Thanks, WRC for posting these!

  • it seems like all of the people who think ken block is the best driver have really bad english.

  • @colenbrak yeah. ¿so? you need to be good in spanish to like maradona?.

  • @koryyyy yo no sé...

  • Sorry for dislike and for the haters: Ken Block es the BEST car driver. Not only for Rally. Sorry again, its the truth.

Nobody can be the best in anything that you don´t spend time for practice. Give to ken a car, time to practice and he can do everything.

  • @rood37 because he is always crashing.

  • @xxionx WHERE is your videos showing us how u drive?

  • It's Ken Block and Super Mario! :D

  • lol Ken its the red circles at the end not the yellow ones :)

  • if block didn't have such a huge ego, backed up by thousands of mindless fans and sponsorship dollars, then i'm sure he would get much more respect for the effort he is putting in. but the fact remains: he will never be a great WRC driver.

  • The only thing I appreciate from Ken, is he is spending his money in WRC instead NASCAR

  • @rood37 difference being block has 2 half seasons of WRC and he crashed out or finished last in all of his events and hannu mikkola at 41 had more time spent behind the wheel of a car than block has doing all his half assed efforts at sports block will get no where in WRC he couldn't even compete will the amateur events in europe

  • @rood37 these examples you said are many years ago. in our days such an old driver will never win a race either in wrc or f1. fitness is very important in modern motrosports and although the hard training, fitness of younger drivers would be easily better

  • Ken Block is the greatest

  • @Megayoshio8 .... at gymkhana

  • @wedley91 I dont think his gymkhana's are even a consecutive shot... it looks like each scene (or turn) has been done multiple times until they think its a video ready shot! I would like to see what happens if he just did the course all in one shot!

  • @motocrossXisXawesome yea true, his dc gymkhana commercial must have taken lots of shots. He is a good show driver however as much as I like him, he is nothing in the world of REAL rally. To say he is the greatest is retarded.

  • @wedley91 i agree.

  • never understood what the plus and minus ment .. from the co-driver

  • I'm in the video! Minute 6:40 LOL

  • I'm in the video! Minute 6:40 LOL

  • hes a newbie on wrc ... but hes going good for now ... he needs fighting for be a nice wrc pilot :D.. Keep doing your job Block!

  • @ericsson159 **Needs fight ... damn my english

  • What a spectacular stage!!

There should be more tarmac stages in WRC. Especially the ones that go through mountains!!

  • Gooo Ken

  • Block is definitely on the right track ....

  • Para seguirlo en Google Earth el video empieza en (to follow in GE, video starts in): 31°32'19.43"S, 64°33'4.85"O, direction N-S

  • SS8 was a ninth position finish for the stage for the team. He went on later to get a fifth on one stage on day three. Be patient.

    Thanks for posting the video.

  • this guy is slowly than my grandma

  • @antoniostarchild Why Am i thinking that you have never drove a rally car before?

  • REQUEST ONLY FAST RACERS PLZ

  • Comment removed

  • Merci

  • Shut ap !

  • My grandmother drive faster than Block

  • I absolutely can't understand why monster drink company gave a seat 42 years old stunt man

learning process? are you kidding!? he's 42!

  • @leehyunsooify Marcus Grönholm is 43 petter is 36 and Lobe is 37! Do you know Nobuhiro Tajima is age 60 and he drives a faster car than any of these guys. Rubens Barrichello is 39 and driving a F1 car. Experience wins races not youth.

  • Comment removed

  • @sohcsarewicked

Ah..but rubens isn't winning and hasn't been winning for quite some time. :)

It's a combination of experience and SKILL that wins you races. And in wrc experience is only adjusting to a new car and perhaps a new track since many of those guys raced in rally or some racing discipline most of their life before joining the elite.

  • @LordTyrannus Not Rubens Fault ,when there is no team orders and when Rubens has the best car he will win but he has always been the 2nd tier driver and never given top priority. You can't put skill over experience as you can see a very skilled Kimi got his ass handed to him in nascar and Montoya took many tries(years) how to figure out how to drive in Nascar around an oval. Driving Rally America is totally different from Driving WRC Block talks about having to learn pace notes vs stage notes

  • @leehyunsooify

people learn things everyday at all ages. Some people in their 60's who have retired and never had the chance to ski before might take it up, for example..

  • Comment removed

  • please please stop rallying and come back to america, block. you are killing us.

  • @smallcake93 im not bringing ken down at all, just saying his talent isnt truely up to par with other drivers in the wrc. he is a true inspiration to many grassroots drivers as well as one of the greatest embassadors that rally has ever seen. you could say he alone with the small help of travis pastrana has jumpstarted the entire revolution of north american stage rallying.

  • Seem to be a lot of noobs on Ken Block videos... One guy thinks 'tightens' is 'titans'... The other is saying ken was saving tyres. Ahh bless. It's nice to see new people to rally though :)

  • @FMECCTV tires is spelled tyres in the UK you conceited prick

  • @colenbrak OOH, keep you bra on there. I still don't get your point. ''Prick''

  • @FMECCTV well, you see, if you live in the UK, when you talk about TIRES you say TYRES.

  • @colenbrak That is what I said. Hahaha

  • @FMECCTV holy shit i misinterpreted your entire statement, i apologize for my foolishness.

  • Go 43 !!

  • Thumbs up for louder engine sound!

  • @smallcake93 id be glad to reply and i would love to bet you I have gobs more talent as a driver than ken. been involved in all sorts of motorsports for the past 10 years. do not have the money or time to get to the level that block does, but i am also only 21 and have many years ahead of me. i do like block and his persona. i have personally met and hung out with him, but he is past his prime and rally is something that you cannot just jump into without having prior motorsports experience.

  • you also have to remember block is much past his prime when compared to the younger and way more experienced drivers. he should back out of wrc and return to rally america. i on the other hand would love to see foust make it up to wrc. he is an incredibly talented driver who is young, learning, and has a much greater potential than the aging block. also compare fousts mulholland drift video to gymkhana 2/3 and look at the numerous runs block didnt film.

  • @vipergtr21You don't know what you are talking about sorry but he is not much older than any of them.....lobe and solberg is pretty much the same age as block and if you think youth makes a differnce then who is winning pikes peak every year? A 60 yr old...thats right.

  • @sohcsarewicked Block is 43 and started racing in what, 2006 at rally america? Loeb and Solberg are something like 37, been racing since their teenage days. Latvala, Hirvonen, and other assorted drivers are in their 20s. Block does not have the proper experience, reactions, or nerve that the other wrc drivers do. Take for instance Kris Meeke. He stepped up to wrc from jwrc and the irc and in a brand new car was on par and/or much faster than some of the other drivers in his FIRST WRC RACE.

  • @vipergtr21 Kris meekes "teacher" was legend Colin McRae, thats why he is good!

  • @nos97 exactly :) true rally legends, not a poser.

  • @vipergtr21 loeb and ogier didnt start racing when he was a teenager... well i don't know if you consider 20's to be teenager though but anyways most wrc driver aren't like f1 drivers who started racing when their age was a single digit.

my point is loeb and ogier has way more skills than block but unlike them block is like richard branson, he got the money why not enjoy it.

  • @vipergtr21 wat do u do race form ur computer. ppl always finding faults of the things everybody else does. well im finding fault of wat u do. dont put somebody down for doing something u absolutely cant and never will . im certain you race very well from your video games

  • @MrJondoe36 actually ive been racing professional go-karts since i was 11, drag racing since i got my license at 16, and autocrossing for 2 years now. dont tell me what i cant do because any racing coach or track owner who has ever seen me race since i was young has said i have a natural ability for throttle control, and a natural racing line. i was the runner up at my local karting track when i was 13 to be invitied to california when red bull started searching for fast karting drivers.

  • @vipergtr21 so i guess its jealousy then caz nobody calling ur name around the world , oh im sorry , if i had known u were such a pro i'd root for you . you can learn something from every and anyone regardless of how good you think you are. so for you to such a pro and be bashing someone else who is in the same field you are in, is in poor taste . not that it makes any difference tho , fact is you still unknown except for your x-box.

  • @MrJondoe36 lol and im unknown because i dont have the resources to professionally be in motorsports yet. but im only 21 years old and have a long and prosperous career ahead of myself. do i idolize and am i completely jealous of ken block? absolutely. who wouldnt want to have limitless amounts of money and do what the really want without having anything in your way. but do i think ken block is a poor driver compared to the successful drivers in wrc? of course. fuck off, and go learn to spell.

  • oh and yeah i did say i kno you race very well from your computer , i can see you now , with ur naked butt sitting in daddys lap . bouncing up n down playing with your lil remote . go get a fucking life , ASS WIPE.

  • @MrJondoe36 lol damn right im good at racing games on my xbox. only because i really know how a true suspension set-up will affect a car, racing lines, and throttle control? stop trolling ass wipe. just because youre mad cause i know what im doing with driving cars and im DAMN FUCKING GOOD AT IT.

  • @MrJondoe36 oh and yeah im still prety good at racing games on my xbox. rated 32nd in the world on forza 3. fuck off.

  • Block has a lot to learn still, if he focused more on his rallying career he has more potential. But he's a busy man whose always out promoting new things. His Gymkhana is nothing compared to rallying which makes it funny to see all the posers out there where his shirts and shoes when they dont see what he truely does.

  • @Ryguy430 Funny thing is that Tanner Foust is better than him at Gymkhana with a Fiesta rally car, also better than him at rallycross. I bet Foust would sure as hell be better in WRC.

  • I think Ken is building up his pace at a steady rate. He was off for 2 months before this event, and didn't get any experience at Portugal due to the early crash. Ken didn't get a chance to grow from a JWRC or SWRC before getting into the big WRC. In comparison to Rally America series he did prior, the WRC events are much more technical and longer. Ken and Alex are making steady progress, and maybe in a couple of years will make some top 5 finishes.

  • guys... he's got the money, he has fun with it. what's wrong? he doesn't mean to be the best rally pilot ever, just a showman.

  • I like Block, love the Gymkhana stuff, but he just doesn't seem comfortable in WRC, Maybe he was saving the tires, maybe he's afraid of wrecking again, maybe he doesn't trust the co-driver, whatever it is though is holding him back and you can see it in his driving here. :( Keep trying, Ken...

  • ...Also Argentina was one of his best bets to score some championship points.

With only 8 WRC cars that could finish ahead of him he only had to keep a steady run to finish ahead of PWRC drivers Paddon and Flodin, and with that an easy 9th or 10th place . I mean in the next rallys he will have Sordo , Meeke , H.Solberg and Kimi to take those spots in the top 10 and points wont come so easy .

  • to be fair, he was plagued with mechanical issues in Argentina, hence the fact he finished like 18th after taking a few 5 min penalties!

  • @MysteryLogic: He is saying "tightens". Which means that the corner closes at the end. So you can push at the beginning but you have to slow down at end of the corner. The "opposite" is "opens"..

  • all these nasty comments about ken YET.. he landed high up in the standings with a 5th overall position in SS17 Cabalango 1 and other great standings and still placed mid range after mechanical issues. Sure hes not the best but he is improving. And honestly why call Block down when he is bringing so many new fans to the WRC. If anything its a major boost for everyone! so SHUT UP already about ken not belonging in the WRC.. lets see you fools drive even close to kens level !

  • @skinywitekid

I am not bashing ken with this, because he was the first to say that he wasn't nowhere near the top drivers.

But using SS17 Cabalango 1 has an example on how good he is doing, (like he did on his facebook page ) shows that he was really trying to just cover up his bad performance in Argentina.

SS17 Cabalango 1 is a 3.9 km stage , if someone manages to finish with a 9sec + difference to the leader then something went terribly wrong . Just like Ogier did with a damaged car.

  • Alright he is not a top driver but i think that WRC needs drivers like Ken who are not cold to the fans and they are bringing people to the mountains even with Gymkhana videos. It's a pitty that we won't see him here in the Acropolis rally!

Good job there Kenny ,wish you the best for the next rallies you are in!

  • rank #9 on this stage out of 31 it's not that bad for him.

  • Comment removed

  • what does "titans" mean? the co-driver saying that

  • It's okay he's not an awesome wrc driver but he did very well on this stage.

  • Like anybody new to anything; Ken is still adjusting to racing on long set out stages.

You can see him getting used to it, sometimes he can be too timid, sometimes he is far too brave but I have no doubt that he will find his feet and that he has all the tools to be a great rally driver.

    Keep going Ken.

  • ken is too honest on the corners always in the middle European drivers r gonna eat those corners alive. . . !

  • Ken Block sucks dick at WRC, yes, but he only does it for the fun of it

  • your mum drives faster than this

  • Argentina is the best place to WRC no doubt!

  • villagra on board

  • ken block is shit

  • People that stand on the outside of high speed turns get Darwin awards.

  • I think he did pretty good for someone new to the wrc and he definatly isent the worst

  • LOL "Finish.... ehm.. keep going to the RED!" I guess they were both very tired....

  • how is the weather in argentina??? is it cold???

  • @wrc11

that mornig in that stage ---> 5ªC. (i was there =))
