a beautiful film. I own three pots by your father. And the reaction of people when they see them for the first time is the same surprised admiration as in Mali. Yesterday I was in the Boymans van Beuningen Museum. For a exhibition of ceramics. In the showcases was one litlle vase by your father. I recognised it immediately. You made a good film. Tnx
superb i enjoyed that cheers river.I love making pottery too,Its a great creative release and so satisfiying glazing and seeing the end product come from the kiln transformed, love it.amazing scenery and people,a beutiful lifestyle
"the lines as a meandering river": stunningly poetic about the beautiful piece you gifted to them. you are a phenomenal filmmaker. your talent plus your intuition (the gentleness and kindness) breeds such brilliantly moving work! i am amongst one of the many who feels inspired after watching this!
I just discovered your video's - WOW i love them! i like to watch something positive and inspiring and that's excatly what this was. What a feeling! thank you for sharing and look forward to more video's
i love it tom, first thing i ever saw of yours, hooked me right in ;) it makes me feel like i've been there and when it doesn't do that it makes me truly want to be
I was moved by your gentle gesture to the people of Segou. Fascinating to see how the village potters work their craft. To me, you showed the greatest respect when you & your father chose that particular piece qith the onion dome lid. You are a tender diplomat. Thank you for sharing your insight, sensitivity & travels.
Hi Tom, I think we met at Coed Hills a month or two back drumming in the woods... you mentioned that you have been Shooting footage in Mali... My god!!! it's amazing!! also liking Mamadou playing kora in a cathedral. Nice work mate.
all the serie is so nice! that image is not the best, cause are lots of them, but pleaseplease!: that "flying" or "surfing" cow in that part!!! (00:10-00_15) is so funny !! thnx for sending them. i'm also thinking about doing a documentary about my father's work, and maybe i should not think about it anymore, just begin shutting.ks
Yo yo yo. I just watched your work mate. It is just amazing really... You seriously impress me on that one...and knowing i was there all the way through. Just brilliant. Congratulation.
You should be in Ghana now...enjoying. I am waiting for the film report. Peace from Cameroun

what is unbelievable is the mixing of clay and the intuitive brilliance it takes for firing in such conditions.
this film is (for myself-as a potter) touching and very artistic and beautiful, very well put together!!! make me miss home (Ghana)!!!

i think I'm going to cry...
The way you filmed the people, the children, the village, the river...
The way you chose the gift, it's so delicate.
Okay ,now I'm crying..
Thanks! :)
