Stop blaming the FNM for all the problems. Both Teachers and Parents are responsible for the chaos and lack of morals in our schools.
Stop complaining and fix it. Everyone keeps passing on the buck. When the schools burn down, whose fault will it be then! These kids need to learn some respect for adults and their country PERIOD!
Sadly, teachers feel they can act irresponsibly, in breach of rules or laws goerning them, and feel justified. I am appreciative of their concerns, but thy should be able to set an example for others to follow in how to deal with such matters. Unfortunately, it appears an overzealous union official and politics also may have played a role in this. The teachers involved should be ashamed and apologize to parents and students.
Prior to the PLP coming into power the teachers had everything they so desired from the FNM, which included pay increase. However, it should not matter which political party is in power. The teacher are being paid to do a job and lead by example. Based on this video clip, this should be a concern for parents. It is very clear, if the teachers have not respect for the principal, how can the students respect them?
