  • What kind of memory card did you use?

  • @FidelLopezz I use a 2gb SD card. It has a lot of room to take hella pics and record videos.

  • thanks for telling me.

    i didn't know.

  • servo af is for tracking targets------the 780 is available in 4 colors----and the 780 is nicer than the 1200--the 1200 is too big--------and the 780 is nice because it has an eye view finder--good for steady shots and long battery life

  • Servo AF? Servo Auto Focus maybe??

  • oh yah.

    thanks!

    ahaha..

  • It comes out in red/black/silver

  • at the stores, they only had red or at least the stores i went to.

  • I got the camera too but the videos dat i capture with this camera does not play as good on my laptop. the frame rate is really slow and the video looks as it is stopping and starting again and again. Does it happen to ur cam too ?Am i doing seomthing wrong ?

  • as you can see, this video was filmed with the canon sd780.

it did not stop or start.

the only problem was that it was in mov. file format.

so...most editing programs cannot support it and some video players such as windows media player will not be able to play it except itunes and quicktime.

i was able to download adobe premiere so that solved all my problems with that.

    everything is cool now. :))

  • The problem is with your laptop, it cant cope with the frame rate. If you play the sane video on a more powerful computer you will see that it plays fine.

  • did you keep it ? lol

  • yes i did! :]]

  • It's one of the smallest cameras you can get with tons of features packed in. I'd keep it. I think the model numbering is in relation to the series of that camera in terms of features and size. The 700 series seem to be their most compact.

Sevo AF refers to the camera's ability to continuously focus on a moving subject.

I have the black one and love it. Don't really care for the silver or red. Just posted a review and sample video taken in HD 1280x720.

  • ooh thanks for the info.

so the sevo af thingie is a good thing to have.

did you just upload the MOV.file or did you convert it?

and if you converted it, which program did you use?

cause the zoombrowser is not working for me at all.

  • I took a bunch of video clips and strung them together in Sony Vegas. i think you can use the free Windows Movie Maker too.

  • is that a free software?

  • Movie Maker is free, usually comes with windows. Sony Vegas is not.

  • THAT CAMERA IS AWESOME I was thinking ob buying it and know I know I will...

I THINK YOU SHOULD KEEP IT IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH IT!

  • yah should buy it. i love the camera. the video quality is great!!

  • keep it.

  • thank you!

  • yup
