I'm considering a CRF450x and looks like that was your previous bike to this one. I'm curious how much more you like this bike than the CRF-X? Previous to this bike did you have any issues with your CRF-X and is there anything you like better on the CRF than the KTM? I've owned a YZ426 and Yz250 two stroke, both were MX bikes I rode in the woods so I'm familiar with both 2t and 4t bikes. I'd like to buy from my local honda dealer so looking at the CRF450X but not sure if I'll like the weigh

I like my KTM a lot more than the 450X because i know that it will never limit my riding like the 450X. I'm an aggressive rider and i like to go fast and I had pretty much hit my limit with my Honda because of its weight and mass. I did like the 450X and still think it is a good bike, it just can't do what my 300 xc can do. I will hit my limit way before my KTM will. If you want the best bike for single track that can still hit a track get a KTM xc, just trails KTM xc-w.

@upnorthbacon Hey man, I rode a friends 05 450X and it was so light compared to my 01 400EXC, just felt like I was on a couch with a rocket attached and I think a new 450X would defiantly be lighter & easier to handle than a YZ426F

There is definitely some great single track in Michigan The Tomahawk Trail system is really sweet near Wolverine!

@martwan10 yeah, Tomahawk Trails are awesome!!! I ride them all the time, miles and miles of fun. Theres even a track in the middle of the woods near the Webber Lake area, NOW THATS PURE MICHIGAN!

How did you like it?

The bike is a thing of beauty. I've never owned a two stroke and it took me all of 20 minutes to fall in love with this bike. It soaks up the whoops and bumps like butter, it rails corners, it's light as hell. Come out of the corners give it some gas and hold on! The power is pretty smooth though. It doesn't jerk you into the powerband quite as bad as the old 2 strokes.

@martwan10 I once rode a friends 06 200EXC, it was weird and felt like I was gonna fall all the time.. I rode a 99 CR125R and it was awesome fun, alot better than the KTM 2 stroke.. I think because the 200 is heavier and longer suspension travel it's harder to handle, if I were getting a 2 stroke, I'd probably get a RM or YZ250, not too keen on the 2 stroke enduro models. I do like the look of the new 'Bergs though.. Great vid btw
