@EternalSaltnLight I really don't think it is. Did you not watch the video? She told the story of why she wrote it. Not all of her songs are about God just because she's a Christian. And it's not wrong to write songs about people. Read Song of Solomon. Sorry if I sound rude it's just that all over her videos I see people writing comments about how an obviously romantic song of hers isn't romantic and it's only about God...

yeah i think brookes deciphering me is pretty good but most of her other songs are rather boring to be honest so i guess most singers only have one or two good songs
this song is about a love that was lost out of control because the guy just stole her heart. "Youre ruining me" "Playing the chords in me nobody knew how to play" how he just knows what to do. that her wall's not good enough to hold him out
she loves it. and shes incontrollably in love with him.
