I just don't understand how this guy keeps getting the go ahead for these movies. They've been God awful. And to anyone who feels the need to call me a hater and use the age old cliche "If you don't like it, just ignore it!!1!!11"... this video was suggested by RE: Damnation. I don't waste my money to go and see these movies in the theatres. I watched the 1st and 2nd on dvd... and decided to check out the 3rd one in theatres and wanted travel back in time to get my time back.
I think if you look at the movies as their own seperate thing you can appreciate them more, when not comparing them to the games. But the games are 20x better than the movies honestly.

To be honest I'm kinda pumped for this movie especially for the fact that somebody is finally gonna be acting as Leon but first of all he's not even american, and the hair style is kinda wrong. That's really interesting that Leon is in this movie. I remember in one of the promotional materials for the RE2 movie, the Raccoon City Times Newspaper they said that Leon was Jill Valentine's partner and was killed before the events of the movie. I guess they're retconning that.
@chemykal that newspaper was just a part of the promotion, it's not the same newspaper in Jill's room and it is non-canon to the movie, Leon never appears in any live-action movies story until Retribution.(Although Apocalypse's script did had Leon and Claire in it but due to the budget and runtime they've been cut out. )

To be honest I'm kinda pumped for this movie especially for the fact that somebody is finally gonna be acting as Leon but first of all he's not even american, and the hair style is kinda wrong. He sorta looks like Leon if you've watched the Resident Evil 6 trailer. So over all, I guess its not bat at all. I'm still pretty pumped for this movie. I've seen'em all.

the fourth movie afterlife was way to theatrical, it was like watching a broadway musical, the outfits and the characters were not emotionally in tuned with all the cra they had endeared. i hope for the sake of the resident evil movie franchis this one is better, because the characters you have in it are way to popular to make it seem any less than Resident evil fans want.

@suckerp991 I WAS HOPING FOR JENSEN ACKLES TOO!!! He would've been perfect for the role. He can act, he looks like Leon, and he has more emotion than this guy seems to. I think they made a huge mistake casting Johann. I'm highly disappointed considering we waited four movies and they couldn't even cast the part correctly. Eh, I guess beggars can't be choosers. :P

That's really interesting that Leon is in this movie. I remember in one of the promotional materials for the RE2 movie, the Raccoon City Times Newspaper they said that Leon was Jill Valentine's partner and was killed before the events of the movie. I guess they're retconning that.

@chemykal that newspaper was just a part of the promotion, it's not the same newspaper in Jill's room and it is non-canon to the movie, Leon never appears in any live-action movies story until Retribution.(Although Apocalypse's script did had Leon and Claire in it but due to the budget and runtime they've been cut out. )

Whoever claim the first Re movie is not bad has some loose screw on their heads,the effects was horrible,the storyline seems to have no plot,the movie has a vibe of trying hard to be creepy but want to act cool which doesn't work at all.I would reboot this whole franchise,if I was working in the Sony production,if RE retribution already has Leon then on next film just used this character as the main or make some kind of spin off.Plus kick Paul w.s Anderson out of directing career.
