I have to agree with a couple of the comments here. Though I am a Christian, I find myself drawn mainly to Phil Wickham and Chris Tomlin,and I just can't get into other worship music artists. Something about each of these guys is just amazing and I use their music for my own worship time everyday.
Phil led thousands in worship to this song at the Desperation Conference in Colorado Springs yesterday and praise God for Phil and the lyrics that Christ blesses him with! I could hear God singing the chorus to me during worship. Listen ya'll... I see alot of comments on how this could be a song about a guy and gal... and you're almost right... We are the bride of Christ and that chorus just hints at the intimate Love that He has for us! Who can deny that Love eh?! praise God!!

Brain usage varies wildly depending on what you are doing, while it is true that we don't use all of our brain, we can be using 0.1% to 10% at any given time. For example do you use all your lung capacity just sitting down at a computer? No, but what about when running? Much more.

The person then begins to beat and maim the dog while you stand by and watch. The dog pleads and whines, but you just stand by and watch. With your point proven, you give it "new wonderful things". Where is your sense of morality? That isn't right. Especially not for a "benevolent" god.

Christianity is different because we have a relationship, not a religion. Jesus pursues, we just have to decide if we want to be in a relationship with him and accept his salvation.

God does let sin into our lives and let Satan as-well becuase He wants to test if we will turn to Him or run in the oposite direction depending on ourselves and for example God let Satan take EVRYTHING away from a guy named Job. (not job as in work but joAb) Took away his servants, wife, children, cows & horses and sheep and killed them all. Yet Job remained faithful to God and continued to praise Him and worship and Job remained blessed after that!

Job, being one of god's faithful, is made the object of a BET between the christian god and Satan so that god can prove his greatness through Job's devotion. God allowed the 'pain' took part in Job's life simply to make a point to Satan's face that He is and will be glorified by Job, cause He knew Job wouldn't fall for his torture. humanly, Job did! but not his faith on Him. that's why God was ALWAYS with Job, and THAT humiliates SATAN. this is the point where people like you often missed and then throw the blame on Christians and 'Christian God'!

@yosie4682 I don't blame the Christian god, I just find his character to be morally reprehensible. Answer me this, why does an all knowing, all powerful creature need to prove a point to a being he created (lucifer). It seems petty of it to put one of its believers through pain just to prove a point. Why would an all powerful being stoop so low to get into a pissing contest with a being it created? Also, Christianity IS a religion, don't delude yourself by claiming it is anything else.

He made that point allowing PAIN to Job, ONLY to let lucifer sees, this human HONORS his Creator beyond his life, unlike him.

God knows all. God knew Lucifer would revolt, yet he still created lucifer. God knew he would win his 'bet' against lucifer. Lucifer, being a creation of the almighty should also know that god knew he would win. Why do it? Also, I was a christian for 15 years- try to tell me it isn't a religion.

It tells us how to act. It shows us what it considered wrong and what it considered right in a world that has stopped having morals.

If you have to cut out certain sections to justify your doctrines or remove "Deuteronomy ages" kinda stuff than you acknowledge that the bible is fallible. If some sections are wrong what keeps the entire thing from being wrong? Nothing. You either look at the bible as a whole or not at all.

I have to agree with a couple of the comments here. Though I am a Christian, I find myself drawn mainly to Phil Wickham and Chris Tomlin,and I just can't get into other worship music artists. Something about each of these guys is just amazing and I use their music for my own worship time everyday.

Phil led thousands in worship to this song at the Desperation Conference in Colorado Springs yesterday and praise God for Phil and the lyrics that Christ blesses him with! I could hear God singing the chorus to me during worship. Listen ya'll... I see alot of comments on how this could be a song about a guy and gal... and you're almost right... We are the bride of Christ and that chorus just hints at the intimate Love that He has for us! Who can deny that Love eh?! praise God!!

WRONG-as I said in another Phil video...love IS God.
