@hellder7 That is a glitch. There are no hidden walls in these games. So everytime he's going through a wall, at 09:55 in SMB3 for example, it is due to a glitch.
If you visit the website TASvideos, click on "Game Resources" and any of the SMB titles, you can read how the glitches work.

@bfullstar Calm down a bit... A TAS is made to see how fast a game can be beaten in theory, when every single input from the human player is perfected. If the input used in a TAS would be used on console, you would get the same result. This input can even be downloaded and viewed, something that can never ever be proven by a run made on console. As long as the input file is provided (The one for this run can be found on TASvideos) it is IMPOSSIBLE to cheat or fake a TAS.

@bfullstar They use save states every frame. I'm working on TASes daily, so I know exactly what they are and how they are made.
TASing is its own category or speed running, the same way that cycling is a different sport compared to running. With a TAS you are supposed to use the tools that the emulator has to offer, with a cycle race you use a bike as the "tool" to make your way forward.

@Gameboygenius In order to jump in SMB1, he'd have needed to press A in all four games. Two of them don't matter (SMB2us, Luigi's falling; SMB2jp, not yet started), but SMB3 is running towards a pipe with a piranha plant poking out of it, so he needs to time that jump just right in order to sail straight over it. Because SMB3 needs a delay, SMB1 waits a moment.
Those sorts of tradeoffs are common to multi-game TAS runs, even this one.

He must have also used slow down to be able to do this. And i'm talking quite a bit of slowdown to be able to control 4 games at once like this all with one controller.
But, still, to be able to do this makes you a gaming god.

He must have also used slow down to be able to do this. And i'm talking quite a bit of slowdown to be able to control 4 games at once like this all with one controller.
But, still, to be able to do this makes you a gaming god.

There must have been a separate START button for each game otherwise it would have been impossible to do this all at the same time.
