  • This is the proof that there is a problem with NTSC-J version in consoles from another region, or with the NTSC-J ISO which was used for this CD.

This is not how the real NTSC-J looks like, I can guarantee the SC is extremely hard to do, almost impossible in 3 laps.

  • @crashteamalphing

I guarantee you that my version doent work like djanmfctr, in my NTSC-J is not possible to take the SC like this, 1:31:00 is a perfect time for me.

  • @crashteamalphing

for me this glitch is because he is using ps2, not ps1*

    ps2 emulate ps1 games.

  • @Platinumctr Well, I am using a NTSC-J PS2 with original NTSC cd, and for the SC it's the same as you and everybody else. The problem is that daniel is using a NTSC PS2 then, so still the problem is that he is mixing regions between console and CD. See, the problem with game copies are not necessarily the copies themselves, but the problems that come with it...

  • @crashteamalphing

Anyway you are playing wrong too, because all ps2 emulate ps1 games, if you play cb3 with a ps2, the game have a lot of variants.

When I use my PS1 I can do 33:76 in Hog Ride, and when I put the same CD on my NTSC-U PS2, I get 34:26 like a perefect time.

You cant use a PS2 for a PS1 games, there are a lot of glitches.

  • @Platinumctr in principle, you are right. Not that I have ever seen any evidence that CTR would be read differently by PS2 or PSX in original CDs, unlike this where I see huge evidence, but in principle you are correct, and CB3 is a good example. For me the copied CDs and the different regions cross the line only because I think I see evidence in other people's video that it's not correct, otherwise I would not care. Same with emulator (no actually emulator is just plain wrong).

  • @crashteamalphing

BTW : I continue waiting see you start playing CB3

  • @crashteamalphing

BTW : you are saying that the region or the bios make this glitch?, if you mean region there are only 2 PAL and NTSC,( NTSC- is not another region), the difference between NTSC-U and NTSCJ is the bios, that are a lot of variants, not only 3.

In my case I am using SCPH-9001 bios that allow to play all ps1 older bios.

  • @Platinumctr I'm just saying there's obviously a problem in this video, but I don't know exactly why. What is a bio ? Please explain.

  • @crashteamalphing

Is the data base of the of the games playabales in the PS1, there is saved all configuratios of all games.

For example you cant play a new game with an old bios.

    Actually all ps1 I think have 9xxx series. 9000 JAP, 9001 USA, 9002 PAL.

All PS2 have a different bios, that are 9xxxx.

    The newest bios of PS2 . 90001

And obiusly this video have a problem, I remember that when I was Qwertyctr I cant beat this using save states on NTSC-J.

  • @Platinumctr lol, still it's possible to take the SC in this way, I did it already... just too hard, but with save states I think it should be possible.

  • @crashteamalphing

    yeah but 1/100 tries n_n

  • @Platinumctr with original NTSC-J cd*
