  • hey captain i like your take on a few of these and they are possible explanations but i ask you this in this segment you say that there is no such thing as ghosts but the question is how do you know for sure and can you prove 100% that ghost dont exist and if you can not show definitive proof to that should you really be making that claim

  • wow no wonder y america is one of the shitties countries, couse of people like you, that suck ass thinking its all kool

  • LMAO! you said "Three men had a baby"

  • @MoQuake I think you are talking about the Australian Rock group "Wildland". The episode is featured on "World's Scariest Ghosts Caught On Tape".

  • why dont you debunk videos without making an ass out of yourself

  • @MoQuake It's an Australian band called Wildland and the video was shot in a town called Glen Davis.

  • No such things as ghosts? apparently this guy has never or wont ever go to a Asylum or real haunted house ha ghost are real you jack ass , its been proven to many times ha

  • @MoQuake google " wwwangelsghostscom/wildland_ghost_video " and the link will pop up, if u put that in a search bar it wont work you gotta goggle it!

  • @YUTIOP123 no i mean the whole fuckin thing dear

  • @YUTIOP123 The Enlightened Ones?

  • @LynxCoding Yes. But only one. Many more will come :P

  • Does ANYBODY realize that the figure in the window in the first part looks like a boy, and then in the "debunk" footage the figure is TOTALLY different? You can actually see the top hat.

  • @RushRules8595 Yes I noticed that also, it looks different. So my guess is they cut out the org. part and put the Ted Danson figure with the hat in instead.

  • @RushRules8595

Does anybody realize the debunk footage is from a same footage without the vhs quality degradation? As in before it got compressed into an inferior format that makes things blurry.

  • @MoQuake Yep, the australian band named Wildland music video there was a figure in the backround. They were shooting at an old mine where many deaths occured aswell as a priest who commited suicide. Definetly real. Haven't been able to find it on youtube but I googled it and didnt find the actual video but it shows it atleast. wwwangelsghostscom/wildland_ghost_video

  • What a douche.

  • @MoQuake yeah i do

  • the main thing that makes the scene strange is that they walk past the window and there is nothing there, and when they walk back the figure is in the window.

  • @Toddgpoole

Yeah, sloppy scene cuts are fun. Major movie studios are not above these mistakes.

  • The cardboard cut outs are seen in the party during the opening of the movie. However ghosts do indeed exist.

  • This guy is an idiot! Probably still lives with his mom.

  • can you debunk the junkyard ghost?

  • Ok you're retarded. Most if not all of us already knew that.

  • If the fact that this was nothing more than a comedy show wasn't apparent before... seriously, I have no freaking clue as to why people leave such negative comments.

  • I knew that the whole time

  • this is the gayest sh!t i have ever saw....i myself feel like an ass for sitting through 3 minutes and 47 seconds of this garbage!

  • @evanwade1 Clearly you must have some sort of degree in Gay shit. You seem to notice such thing so well. Hmmm

  • @evanwade1 Me Too

  • this is the gayest sh!t i have ever saw....i myself feel like an ass for sitting through 3 minutes and 47 seconds of this garbage!

  • ghosts dont exist -_- maybe someone should give a ride inside paranormal places.

  • 1:03 its fucking cardboard. /video

  • YOUR AN IDIOT HES MY SON BILLY DIPSTICK SCARED OF GHOSTS R U WELL IM THE DEVIL

  • @MoQuake I think it was an Australian band called "Wild Lands" I cant remember the name of the doco, but I know I saw it on Youtube.

  • Actually there was a glimp of a rifle a few seconds earlier at that same spot and when the camera panned back to the same spot a kid appeared. They probably couln't explain about that. I'm in the advertising business we look at filming per millisecond and in detail... Ha ha

  • @AngelKate5

It's just the black portions of the tuxedo jacket read out of focus in a fast moving tracking shot of the actors in the foreground. The reason it looks like the cutout "just appears" is because the angle is more severe on the return track than it was on the initial track, letting you see what's behind the curtains.

    h ttp:**s993$photobucket%*albums*af54*3menGhost*GhostStills*

  • Great vid!

That urban legend was good while it lasted.

  • Haha, I thought it was a dude with a cutout and a cardboard figure. Seems I was right :D

  • so this is what yu do on yur day off. lol its ferris bueller

  • you can see that the image has no depth so it must be a cut out.

  • You omitted the fact that the scene was a single long take which panned from left to right when Danson showed his "mom" the baby. The first time the camera panned over the window, a long, dark object that looked like a rifle or shotgun (muzzle downward) was visible IN PLACE of the boy.

When the camera pans from right to left, SANS long gun, the human figure shown looks NOTHING like Ted Danson.

How do you know the location was a sound stage?

At 1:47, what are those "other sources?"

  • @BrianBeeby i did infact see the gun and the boy. The "cutout" wasn't there probably and if it was, how could it transform from a gun to a boy then to a cutout? Many people, including myself, may believe that ghosts of the dead can take forms of out of the oridinary oblects like the supposed cutout.

  • @GuardinAngelSarah you are right. i believe ghost can take objects. i do believe in ghosts 2.

  • @BrianBeeby

I've answered all these points in this very thread, a look back would do wonders for you.

The "other source" is leonard nimoy, the director of 3 men and a baby. He goes into detail about the soundstage and the toronto shoot in his autobiography "I am spock." As a side note, you can also check out the locations section of IMDB, you'll notice toronto canada listed as a filming location which mirros the ending credits for the film.

  • @AxisAnalysis

The "shotgun" is nothing of the kind. It's merely the black portions of the tuxedo jacket read out of focus and blurred in a fast moving tracking shot of the actors in the foreground.

The reason the cutout seems to suddenly appear is because the perspective is different in reference to the window between panning into and out of the room. On the approach, the drapes obscur the cutout .. on the return, with a different angle on the window, the cutout is revealed.

  • @AxisAnalysis I disagree. The left-to-right panning shot very clearly (with no blurring) shows the window for a few seconds, and absolutely no human figure, be it Danson's cardboard cutout or anomalous ghost boy, is visible. In the right-to-left pan, the window is again clearly seen with a boy that has a brown bowl haircut (no top hat). The boy-like figure does not look anything like Danson's cutout, with no similarities in either height or appearance.

  • @AxisAnalysis "[...] a look back would do wonders for you." Not really. All I see are the same rhetorical responses of which you just gave me. I will look into Nimoy's autobio, and I am well aware the film was shot in Toronto. Sound stage or no sound stage, though, the disputed anomalous imagery, in both camera pans, looks absolutely nothing like the cut-out Danson with top hat and tuxedo.

In the 2nd pan, a boy with a brown bowl haircut and a white shirt (no coat) is visible.

  • @BrianBeeby

I'll PM you the link to my frame by frame analysis of the tracking shot. You'll notice that the only videos that claim a shotgun is in the room are very dark, blurry tv or vhs captures. On DVD analysis, like in CD's, it's crystal clear and obvious that it's just the black portions of the tuxedo.

If you're still unconvinced about it being a soundstage, I'll scan my copy of "I AM Spock" and Leonard can tell you all about it.

  • @BrianBeeby

[All I see are the same rhetorical responses of which you just gave me.]

If by rhetorical, you mean logical and objectively verifiable, then yes .. you're absolutely right.

  • @AxisAnalysis I can get the book myself (you can quote it, though), but the frame-by-frame analysis would be interesting.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm actually somewhat of a skeptic myself. Based on the points he brought up, though, I feel this "Disillusion" fellow simply doesn't have a very strong case for his argument.

Any additional sources to this debate (including passages from Nimoy's book) are welcome. Thanks.

  • No offense but no one really believes in ghost. if they do believe in ghost they better fucking be super pope style religious. i know if i had definitive proof that life goes on after passing, then i would be kissing the popes wrinkled ass so im not stuck going boo in some creepy mansion. i mean give me a break people, you really think once we die we got nothing better to do but open cabinets and drift past ill lit doorways? Id be floating over Marissa Miller playing with my see through balls.

  • @1wildturk1

i'm not really religious and i believe in ghosts, due to self experience.

  • i dont belive in ghosts i only belive if i see one in person

  • are the endings when you mention someone falling for something references to anything?

  • Ghosts are real this is not so shut your face and go and wank a didlo

  • @TheRaksdiva

You suck at logic. Learn what burden of proof is. If ghosts are real the believers need to pony up some real tangible evidence. It is not the skeptic's job to prove they don't exist.

Magical thinking is dangerous... if you are going to believe in ghosts you should also believe in astrology, homeopathy, NDEs, out of body experiences, ESP, demons, alien abductions, Atlantis, Bigfoot, reincarnation.... etc.

He debunked this silly urban legend soundly. And you call him an ass? GFY.

  • @TheRaksdiva

You're free to believe whatever you want. I and I am free to laugh at you for it.

The "what if you're wrong" argument is a bad one since it must logically follow that you should believe in EVERYTHING. Because, after all... what if you're wrong?

And I also responded to your "so if you can tell me otherwise" statement. Which shifts the burden of proof to the non-believer. Wrong! Since you are the one claiming ghosts are real. The onus is on you to provide evidence.

  • @TheRaksdiva But people with anger issues are just so funny. I love watching people lose it, just like you just did.

    I love you too.

  • @TheRaksdiva Believing in ghost is stupid and childish. People like you hold the human race back.

  • cool

  • this video you only have one light on (one shadow)

in the last one i watched about the japaneese mirror, you had two

    consistency is nice

  • you're right, it is so obviously a cut out. since when have ghosts looked flat and one dimensional with the same face as ted danson

  • ghosts are very real, but this is fake

  • @zatchparker

    Wrong then right.

  • @zatchparker ghosts are very real? More like you are very gullible.

  • no they bought the house from the mother of the boy

  • the figger? oh, good copy at the start too!

  • OMG! Me and my friends heard about this a long time ago and got totally scared when we first saw it, but we also started to examine the rest of the movie and after carefully watching it and, came to the absolute same conclusion! It feels good knowing that we discovered the same thing on our own. Makes me feel kinda proud, even though at least 4 years have passed since it.

  • Im Dumb? Your the donkey dressed like a idiot !!

  • The captain is wrong, the is not a cutout! Directers agree they have no idea what this was. If it were a cutout it would not have been in the movie!

  • @Manning713 u r dumbbbbbb

  • @Manning713

The director is Leonard Nimoy, and if you pick up his autobiography "I AM SPOCK" he goes into excellent detail regarding the production of "Three Men and A Baby."

At no time has he ever "agreed" on anything ghost related. If you've got evidence to the contrary, I'd love to see it.

  • That's not the spirit in the window that I saw. I don't know where you got the perfect picture of the little boy in the window, but that is not the "spirit" that saw. (-;

  • its eric claptons son.....he was 2 years old and fell.....its not a ghost

  • You're funny. When have you ever seen a cardboard cutout that wasn't lifesize?

  • I've seen a copy of it without the figure behind the curtain. The scene is still in it, but the figure is not.

    Weird, huh?

  • no mr flare?

  • "as far as we know there is no such thing as ghosts" lol you would do real well in a debate class. if people said less dumb things the world might be a better place

  • your a ass hole

  • You remind me of Franky Munez

  • I think it is a cardboard cutout, BUT i think it's a different one to what we see later on in the film

  • 1:10 you can see the end of the hat

  • the movie is on tv right now in may 2010 & yes folks, the cardboard cut out is clearly in the scene! it does not resemble ted dansen or appear to be waring the costume with top hat & tales either! in fact that particular figure is in another earlier scene before teds caracter reapears to meet his baby! there is no reference to it ever being moved or stood at a window & the plot does not support any reason for doing so!

  • But in the same scene the part where they are walking to the baby (Just before the clip he shows) you can't see the 'ghost' in the background until they walk back into the other room (the part he did show). Explain this?

  • @suchasweety138 um im guessing movie magic doesn't appear in your mind?

  • @suchasweety138

The camera is engaged in a tracking shot of the actors in the foreground. The angle looking towards the window is a little severe, say about a 45. This combined with the curtains obscurs the cutout in a fast moving shot.

When the camera tracks back, the angel is more of a dead on shot and at a slower rate of movement, thus clearly revealing cutout.

motion blur, background out of focus, and a perspective change.

  • bollocks aint u seen the real clip

  • Thanks for the info. Shame you're a complete fag though.

  • so where was it when they walked by it the first time?

  • You missed the rifle that you can see in the same place like 10 seconds before

  • i thought he was murdured

  • i dont by any means think it was a ghost, but when the camera pans through the room the first time, theres a shotgun there, and when they pan through again, its the cutout. why did they go through that trouble in the first place? did they just wanna upset the family or something?

  • @mgs0893

What bloody family? It was shot on a soundstage in toronto. The only stuff shot in New York were the establishing exteriors. Leonard Nimoy, the director, goes into pretty clear detail on the production and locations in his autobiography "I AM SPOCK."

  • @AxisAnalysis the family thats kid kid himself and supposedly appeared in the video. and congratulations on not reading what i said about me not believing its a ghost

  • @mgs0893

I didn't accuse you of believing in ghosts, I just wanted to point out the illogic of asserting a family or a kid are even remotely relevant.

It's not a shotgun, it's the black portions of the tuxedo jacket read out of focus, in the background, in a fast moving shot. If it's a shotgun, tell me the make and model. If there's a kid involved, tell me his name. If it's an apartment, tell me the address.

  • @AxisAnalysis aight, man. the story behind this "ghost" is that a kid shot himself with his dads shotgun, the family was upset and moved out. thats where the kid i was talking about came from. and yes, i know that is a sound studio and not the real house, im just saying what the story is, and if you watch the full clip where they show the "shotgun" and the "ghost" (even though its just a cardboard cutout) it matches the story. (still not saying i believe the ghost story)

  • Anyone that believes that that is a ghost is a fool.

  • this captain disillusion guy is a dumb ass.. why didnt he showed about 30 seconds before? the kid that appears on the window isnt there the first time the guy holding the baby and the old woman walk by it... IT ISNT THERE, then they come back and the "carboard" is mysteriously there.. look up the clip.. they show the same window seconds before they move back to that same window.. and the "carboard" wasnt there to begin with

  • @farmerricho Hehe, you almost had me going there for a moment.

  • i had tears in my eyes when the music came on and it did the zoom in on the boy. BUT! NONE OF THAT IS TRUE! the little boy drowned in a bath tub, or he did suicie thats what my uncle told me

  • @MsTheThings he shot himself with his dads shotgun

  • i had tears in my eyes when the music came on and it did the zoom in on the boy. BUT! NONE OF THAT IS TRUE! the little boy drowned in a bath tub, or he did suicie thats what my uncle told me

  • I looked this up because of Family Guy :D

  • The stuff in these videos being "debunked" is pretty obvious. Were people actually dumb enough to believe any of it?? A lot of these skeptics are talking like they have seen through the looking glass when they are just making very nice videos on boring completely self explanatory crap.
