  • You are in business to make money? Don't tell me you couldn't get more then $1000 more then your scrap value if you would have put that car on ebay

  • I guess thats what ya get for the product of brother and sister or cousins getting married..

  • NO RESPECT!!!

  • nice old car, register plate in middle europe can sell for 20-40dolar each.

  • People are now going out of their way to crush perfectly good classic cars JUST so they can troll YouTube? Wow...and I thought my life was empty.

  • you crushed a classic mother------

  • this was a hard vid 2 watch

  • This car would be worth more to be sold as is. It is a classic. Crushing it for scrap is thowing money away>

  • you suck

  • thing dosent even desearve to be put thru that... at least save it for parts since these beauties are extremely hard to find to get parts from... by the way, look at its face at 1:29 it was getting sad haha

  • you should be bitch slapped for crushing that car,,

  • Listen to imapabern, he knows everything about everybody! BTW: I just so happens, that I do not own a "rice burner" I do own a restored 1961 Olds Super 88 bubbletop, and a restored1955 Cadillac Coupe deVille. As I had said before, you cannot save them all. And yes, owning/restoring classic can be a costly hobby.

  • Folks, don't listen to this clown. I have every eBay listing for 1959 Buicks emailed to me daily, and I never saw it come across once, let alone the 3 times he said he sold it. I am in PA as is this junkman and I would have done what I have done many times, drove to wherever he was stripped the parts, paid him and then let it go through the crusher. Those $400 front fender trims are now getting him 2 cents worth in stainless scrap. Hahaha

  • It actually looked like a decent parts car.. but if it was put up for sale/parted out with no response... then.. RIP

Wow it actually ran too? :(

  • That car was a piece of shit anyways!

  • and the parts inventoried for the next 3 or 4 decades, buy them up and do so at your own cost. There was plenty of opportunity to grab this car or at least all of its good parts. If it made good business sense for the scrap yard operators to do so, they would do it. They are not any where near as dumb as you would think, They are business people, period, plain and simple.

  • That car would be 53 years old, assuming that it was driven even 20 years means it was in the wrecking yard for over 30 years. If it was not claimed by then, and nobody wanted parts from it, why should they keep the thing around? They are in the SCRAP business, not storage. Even if they paid people to strip the car of all good parts, how long should they hold onto the parts only to have a buyer decide the condition is not good enough? If you think these old cars should be stored or ......

  • That was a great crush! Thanks for showing it. You cannot save them all, and this was a "more door" anyway.

  • @3713msg , anything forward of the firewall will fit any 1959 Buick, but then again what does it matter to you, you can get anything for your rice burner in any local junkyard.

  • it was such a nice part car

    you're retard

  • @haslotakieo your english is getting much better.keep up the good work

  • I thought I heard the car cry, or was it just me...

  • @ispinspinners no it was just the death rattle...

  • ...can't save everything. Where were all the gripers when it was for sale? Shit, NO ONE in USAs' public brain-flush facilities('schools') teach business/enterprise anymore! When these jerks 'teach' all they dwell on is the "free" part of "free-enterprise"...a generation of vaporous-minded people...they are totally unaware of what "The Cost of Doing Business" requires of a businessman/woman. Bills/wages & etc. don't just stop for sentimentality & semantics. It MUST be sold -one way or the other.

  • @SittingMooseShaman thank you for your comment.one of the few that makes sense

  • i would just sell it on the internet you get much more for it the scrap value some one at least could bought it for parts

  • @vivitar45 thanks for your input

  • In Sweden that car had to be saved :) Haate to look at thiis movie

  • @Macman1337 thanks for your comment

  • If this car was on Craigslist or any other classified ad, I would have bought it. $2500 would have been a low ball price maybe more depending on a closer look. 59 and 60 Buicks are quite collectable. You could have gotten more than the couple hundred dollars in scrap value.

  • @duroc61 it sold on e bay 3 times i sat on it for over a month.wish you were there when it was listed i only wanted a thousand for it.

  • @3736116r Damn! Depending on where you are, I would have been down to get it for that price. I don't watch ebay much anymore. But I search all Craigs Lists within 500 miles. I'm in North East. Not sure where you are and if it would have been practical to haul it. West Coast wouldn't be practical. Oh well, they'll be others, hopefully.

  • Sell that kinda cars to finland...we'll buy them : ) or even sweden :D

  • @FordM4Life thanks for the advice

  • the car crusher is just as old as the car

  • @MegaLilkeith almost the crusher came from a scrap yard in ohio.it was hand built in 1972.it runs a straight 6 300 cu in ford engine...

  • That car is pure iron, listen to that sound. Today's cars would have sounded like a soda can.

  • @trisdoo you hit the nail on the head.

  • I've saved worse from the crusher! If I had it, it would have been on the road by now.

  • @radeakins i've saved worse from the crusher myself.i tried to sell it but it wasent in the cards.sometimes we have to do things we don't want too but thats just how it was.

  • i no lie i cried the entire time

  • @bumblebee6595 i'm sorry i made you cry...

  • Move the crusher to the Hyaundai and Kia dealerships.

  • @eldo59 don't worry if it comes back as a kia or toyota i;ll crush it again.

  • wow, yea that sucked to watched, yet I couldn't look away. It bothers me a bit to see fixable cars crushed, but you can't save them all. There is always the "Back" button on your computer to stop watching, but I bet just like I did, many watched the entire video. As much as I love cars and love fixing them, always remember, it's a machine that can not love you back and they get recycled just as people do.

  • @MrDieselfumes tour right you can;t save them all.

  • Hi allofyoutubers! I'm amazed about the hot tempered and offensive comments over something which is GONE, KAPUTT... Ok, it's an hard video, then again some of you rather harm an human being for something which is PAST TENSE, if collecting becomes so negative, well I rather do not comment, not gonna play your game, peace, save your classics & don't waste time attacking people, cause u r all proving what GENTLEMEN u r by playing "The inquisitors", just bloody hilarious; RELAX & STAY HAPPY, OK?

  • @65emkay hi i never expected people could be as cruel amd rude as they have been over this video had i known i wouldn;t have posted it .thanks you for your comment.

  • @3736116r If you lived in Germany and did this to a classic car people would probably put YOU in the crusher. Can't believe how dumb you are. I do my best to search for restoration projects on the internet and tell people where they are located at and you crush classic, saveable cars for no good reason. You are lucky noone has found you yet.

  • Comment removed

  • @SaveOldCarsthen i guess it;s a good thing i live in America.where people are free to do what they want to there own property.you must have missed this one it was on ebay and sold 3 times.as i have 4 projects of my own going i didn;t have a spot for that one.as far as anyone finding me .i;m right here like you behind the keyboard...

  • I would have actually spent my entire tax refund on that... :( Oh well.

  • @HHRDUDE09 yeah but then what would we watch on you tube that could cause such kaos

  • Well done on destroying something that lots of people would have loved to have, hope your dick falls off.

  • @UncleThunderpants do you know how stupid your commment was.how do i reply to this? wait i got it ..hope you win the lotto.

  • @UncleThunderpants Why bother? He doesn't need it anyway.

  • Sometimes people have to do incredibly stupid things to prove to the world how utterly pathetic they are. By the way, mission accomplished. Utter and senseless waste.

  • @gmfive not waste mostly steel with hardly any plastic 5000 pounds of quality steel.

  • Comment removed

  • Something tells me you crushed this car just to piss off classic car fans. Running classic cars are rarely crushed, unless they wind up in the hands of someone trying to prove a point. The point is, let me guess, its old, I don't like it, don't know what to do with it, and it is hurting the goddamn environment. You could have at least parted the car out.

  • @Hotwheelfordman finaly somebody figured it out i crushed just to piss people off

  • I Sweden this car had been saved.

  • @bempa15 sorry not in sweeden

  • @bempa15 jo de hade den :)

  • I HAT ETHIS VIDEO THIS SOUL DBE TAKEN OFF

  • @moebob62 freedom of speech youve heard of it?

  • get a real car crusher that sucks get a aljon or a ez-cruser.

  • @1B7GG22X3YS686602 i paid 3 grand for that crusher and i put 25+ cars a week thru it .that buick looked pretty ctushed to me

  • AAAAAH THIS IS FREAKING DESTROYING MEEEEE!!!! I HATE THIS there should be a law that forbides the crusher on every single country... if that car was bad you could sell it in parts, but it was good and, acording to ya, running.. so WHY THE FUCK DID YOU CRUSH IT!?!!?!

  • @Fradias11 ok you people really need to calm down... have a drink do yoga meditate but really your gonna pop a vein.

  • @3736116r you didnt answer my question, WHY THE FUCKING HELL DID YOU CRUSH IT!?

  • @Fradias11 I CRUSHED IT SOLOUD ASS GUYS LIKE YOU LIKE YOU COULD BITCH AND WHINE ABOUT ME CRUSHING A RUSTY OLD CAR.THAT NOBODY WANTED AND I DIDNT HAVE TIME TO PART OUT SOLD IT.3 TIMES ON EBAY 3 WEEKS SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SMALL SCRAP YARD .IF I DIDNT HAVE 5 PROJECT CARS SITTING IN MY BACK YARD I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT IT HOME MYSELF I HOPE THIS CLEARS THIS UP FOR YOU.......

  • @3736116r it doesnt cause if it was in the garbage you should let it be there cause somebody would eventualy show up to save it, but stupid assholes LIKE YOU keep destroying beautys like that! dude that car is out of production

  • @3736116r Dude get a life all there asking is why you crushed it and you start acting like a frikin teenager and cussin them out. Get over it either stop answering the comments or just ignore it, spare everbody having to look at your stupid comments. Hope THAT CLEARS IT UP FOR U!

  • What is with destroying classic America? It's almost as bad as terrorism! That old beauty was not hurting the environment, it was just waiting to be restored. Someone would have really taken pride in that old car. Old cars like this are being destroyed everyday, and it needs to be stopped. Classic cars were built with pride, not like the piece of SHIT Hondas and Toyotas that are replacing them.

  • @Hotwheelfordman im not even going to respond to your post .

  • a runner, and you're talking about saving it as it's being put through a crusher.

i wish you beat you all with a crowbar.

  • I couldn't watch this video until it's end. This is a crime of 1st degree.

  • @KristelS guilty as charged

  • Was a guy in Colorado that did stuff like this. He had a stash of very rare old muscle cars. Just to get a rise out of people, he would chop them up and display them out in front of his property where the main highway ran, so people could see his handy work.

Last I heard, his property had been seized by the county. Something having to do with a meth addiction problem he had been busted for. I imagine all the cars not destroyed by him yet got crushed by the county. Carma said hello to him...

  • @drakos36 i wasnt showing off my hanywork.and i'm ok with carma...

  • Dude i got a brain.gimme a break its done its gone that means that the ones people have restored and preserved are now more valuable.the enviroment is safer and its not sitting in the woods rotting into the ground.i mourn its passing.but life goes on....

  • @3736116r what a loser

  • @3736116r 1 of those gas guzzling cars makes 2 or 3 new hondas? grow a fucking brain, just bcause if someone were to preserve it doesn't mean it would soon again be a daily driver, if i had something rare like that n was also my project car i still wouldn't take it out on the roads too much if bieng green and saving gas was your concern and kind of is mine too, but does it really have to go? somebody will take pride in that, not a fugly honda have some common sense bro.

  • what we need to be crushing is the ricers(honda's,toyota's,nissans...etc) and preserving the american classics.

  • @cmwilson1973 how many ricers do i have to crush before the car gods forgive me .trust me i tried to find it a home....

  • @3736116r Crush 100 ricers and say 50 hail buicks...then the gods will forgive you

  • mikey you gotta cut back on the roids bro.

  • I have to agree you are a stupid idiot

  • If u like talkin 'bout recycling, I'll state that restoring or donating parts are ways of recycling in a much more constructive way, any form of waste is just mere nonsense; on the other hand it was not my car and you had your reasons for your recycling and your target is apparently far from supporting the collector's scene, to each his own...

  • @65emkay cmon man 1 of these old gas guzzling air polluting dinosaurs gotta make 2 or 3 new hondas.now thats recycling.

  • @3736116r hi,dude, txs for your feedback, surely you do recycling and it's not possible to save all those old cars, it`s utopia; just to make my perspective clearer, I'll invite you to check my video with car drawings in my channel, or just search marcosdreamcars, mi site, with google, you'll see there my relation with classics, hope you'll like it, in the meantime happy '12, take care

  • @3736116r Hi dude, txs for your feedback, I think both recycling procedures have sense: like producing new pieces for Hondas, or placing spare parts so to have other classics running again; the "to each his own" comment is to be interpreted positively, my 1st reaction can be put in right perspective if you check (pleasure if you'd accept) the vids in my channel about my car drawings... Finally I'd like to wish you an happy 12, all the best, ciao

  • @3736116r this car had 10-20 times the soul of a honda

  • To buy this car in Russia I need to work more than three years.

  • 5$ for the old liscence plates?;-)

  • do you realize how much money worth of parts that car has on it...oops i ment had

  • Man don't crush em restore em -.- what state are you in man I'd like to get contacted when you guys got a classic you Wana sell before you put em to the grinder

  • its called recycling

  • go fix a lawnmower.its called recycling.j

  • Not even gonna watch the video you are just stupid for killing a classic car.

  • @67RcodeFairlane your an idiot

  • @3736116r Whos the one crushing a classic car? part it out before you crush it.

  • @67RcodeFairlane I am. your not the boss of me...

  • Ok so what if it's rusty? You fix that. You left vintage plates on it...hello those are valuable. People who actually care about classic cars and preserving them still use those on their cars. So what if it was a 4 door?! I love 4 doors, they're just as cool. And wagons...man those are just as sweet. You shouldnt crush classics, just pos hondas and toyotas. There are tons of parts on that tons of people would want.

  • @brandons72vette wait your building a 70 mustang .is it a 4 door or a station wagon? stay tuned i'm crushing a 73 mach 1 next week...

  • siktiğim orospu çocuğu

  • @fortyeight35 thank you for your comment i guess

  • boy o boy im getting a rash of shit for crushing a buick. it wasent a 59 eldorado converetible it was a rusty 4 door buick..i only have one question about your electra.does the radio work?

    pa. i saved the radio

  • I bought a 1959 Buick (a fully optioned Electra) in better condition by 3 fold for $1200 in December 2010, and you expected to get $1500? This was not an Electra 2 door hardtop, it was an Invicta 4 door sedan. Most folks could care less if you crushed a shell, but the extra half an hour it would have taken you to remove some hard to find parts would have helped out a lot of people. Instead of making and extra 3,000 in those few parts, you made about 40 cents in the weight of those parts.

  • In response to all our fans out there, first and for most WE ARE IN THE SCRAP BUSSINESS. Secondly your money is not tied up in these cars.Thirdly we hold on to these vintage cars as long as possible (60-90 days) to sell them to collecters or people looking to fix up a vintage car. If you so called collecters or restoration people are too cheap to fork out $1000 - $1500 for a car or parts car thats not our problem. We even took the time to get this car running.

  • The only people interested in paying anything for this car was the shredder we ship to.We hate to see these cars go through the crusher too,but when you have idiots bidding on something and not paying,or promises of buying these cars and the people don't hold true to thier word, well you kind of take pleasure in crushing them.Just to hear people like yourselves whine and complain about what we did to that car.Up next a 53 dodge truck,53 dodge meadowbrook, and a 73 mach I.Contact if interested.

  • In response to all our fans out there, first and for most WE ARE IN THE SCRAP BUSSINESS. • What a moron. Listen to the yokels commentary on the video. You had a goldmine in unobtainable parts there, but it was easier to crush for a few hundred buck that to part it out. You should stick to Hondas.

  • This is why this guy has a rinky dink scrap yard. maybe if he sold it for parts he could buy a better crusher but I guess the world needs assholes too. Stay poor and hard working scrap man!!!! Im sure your dumber than you are greasy

  • Penny wise, dollar foolish. Expecting top dollar for a parts car is silly so it goes to the crusher for spite. 3 times on Ebay?? When??

  • I see several hundred dollars worth of stainless on his car. In fact, I've spent 300 dollars in the past week for pieces I see being destroyed in this video.

  • @Steverinomeister - Me too, I need a set of front fender trims for my '59 Buick. I bought a complete 1959 Impala parts car for $400 in central PA 2 years ago which is a reasonable price. I sold 8 pre-1964 cars on ebay and started every one at ONE dollar. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay, whatever I got for the car was its real value not some fantasy land value.

  • i sold this car on e bay 3 times. everybody wanted it but nobody wanted to pay for it .i run a small scrap yard and can't have cars sitting around for weeks.i'm sorry that it had to be crushed. but it did.i got a nice 53 dodge meadowbrook 4 door going up for a thousand this week and a 73 mach 1 mustang also for a thousand.i'm listing them once and then you know.....

  • What an idiot!

  • yeah you see thats the problem .i waste my time putting good parts cars on e bay and assholes like you want them for a few hundred bucks .i'll get 7 to 800 bucks just for the steel battery radiato.etc .wait next one is a 73 mustang mach 1...

  • @3736116r Who said that I would've gave you a few houndred bucks!? You couldn't dream of what i payed for good quarterpanels home in sweden!!! Over 4000$!! Just because there is so hard to find good parts today! So you get around 7-800.. Isn't that a few houndred bucks? Wouldn't it be better to sell it for '' a few houndred bucks'' to a asshole like me and know that the parts from it will save other cars from your own countrys history? Than be recreated to shitty chinese cars?

  • @3736116r -While I certainly don't live on ebay, so I didn't see them if you had them posted- those backup lights alone could be a few hundred dollars in usable condition, not to mention the stainless trim, all of which are made of unobtainium to a 59 owner. Do some homework and venture beyond just ebay and maybe you would have made a lot more $.

  • Fucking morons! That would've been such a great parts car for my '59! Why just don't put it on ebay and get atleast a few houndred bucks for it?!

  • Such a waste of a classic.
