A slight issue with the cinematic is Deathwing's flight path seems a little odd. Lore says he erupted from the Maelstrom. But the end of the cinematic looks like he erupted from his original entry location north of Stormwind and flew straight south. BUT we clearly see him fly over Auberdine (longest dock in Azeroth lol) and coming from somewhere to the north near Teldrassil. So his flight path is kinda odd.

Umm. whose bright idea was it to make Deathwing a suit of armor? It quite obviously pissed him off, and now we have an angry near-immortal dragon aspect with command of pretty much the whole planet's supply of earth and fire elementals trying to kill us.

This cinematic only half follows the running theme of the others which seems to be to show off new stuff, and all I learned was that some dewd is angry and blowin stuff up. I think blizzard kinda took a wrong turn but executed it well, so gratz

@ phillyfan8356, not just from WCIII. Been playing Blizzard games since the start of Blizzard. Awesome cut scenes started from WCII and Diablo(1), but I guess new generation wouldn't appreciate legacy game graphics and cut scenes. Not your fault, you never grew up with it! ^_^

They used an outdated program to create diablo 3's cinematic in 2006, while they switched over to a more efficient and upgraded rendering machine to create this cinematic. As cinematics go Catalysm > WoTLK > Starcraft 2 > Diablo 3.
