I found some cool flame video loops on google videos under 'fire video loops'

I am using a video as the background, and masking the text layer. I tried to embed the text...I did...still not working.

When I hit play it works great, but when I do control enter or Control-Test Movie all I see is the video...no text.

All help greatly appreciated.

is this script 2.0 or 3.0?? and what's the difference?

Either, or neither. It doesn't matter because he didn't even use any actionscript.

Anyway, they're two very different languages. 2.0 was used in earlier versions of flash, 3.0 is used in Flash CS3 and CS4. The difference is really irrelevant unless you actually get into coding. You can do just about the same things in either, just in different ways.

@Blooberry95 Dude I was asking the same question before i got vista. Vista is crashing all the time with all kinds of programs. I want to install xp again but then i wont be able to play some games. ;/ Vista suck !

You obviously haven't grasped the concept of a tutorial, in which the steps are taken intentionally slower for students to be able process the information, and follow along accordingly.

Tried his and it worked gread up to testing it. When published it shows video - no text or masked text.
