So it has gotten to the point every time I eat my salivary gland (under right jaw) swells up! So really...antibiotics...hot compress and hydrate...I'm not going to have invasive to fix?
Lithotripsy treatment removed salivary stones for me, removing salivary glands is 25 years out of date, don't settle for removal of glands it reduces saliva flow in your mouth henceforth. I had 7 out patient appointments to breakup a 25 year old stone. Its gone forever and i still have a fully functioning salivary gland. Do NOT let any doctor persuade you to have them Removed! you will live to regret it!!!
