Im pretty sure that the people at microsoft are smarter than you, and made sure that there is no way to cheat them. you dont become a multi billion dollar company letting people slip through the cracks
if you want edit a song like on virtual dj or something and you bought it just burn it to a cd and then rip it back to the computer and the protection will be off
ok i logged in just to comment on this video oh my gosh how stupid can you be of course thats where the music is it has to go somewhere on your computer even if you moved it to a different folder it would still go away because of the drm on it i call it a time bomb when the time is up its gone the way to keep it is using software like tunebite for example to get rid of the drm
Hey, I don't see the response with the link that you are eluding to. Can you email it to me my email is palican@gmail.com. I would like to know how to rip the music from the DRM format.
Just get a Zune Pass, DOWNLOAD soundTaxi, then convert the Song you download from ZMP, BE SURE TO KEEP Zune Software OPENED When Converting or you will get an ERROR.
dude really all you gotta do is not sign back in....once you do your music will be recognized as expired...and will only become 30 second preview...this has worked for me so far...bout 3 months as a matter of fact...
hahahaha..............nice video but there is drm on the files it isn't that simple to "keep" the music like the other dude said once your subscription is over the file becomes unplayable.......ripping it is a lot harder
i once tried this and it dint work there is a copyright license on the actual file it doesn't work 1 week after the pass expires...at least thats what happened to me
Well technically if you copy and paste the file you are only "moving it to another computer" and then you could just convert it to an AAC format, that is if you're an ipod user anyways and then throw that shit on itunes.
this doesn't work. i tryed this a long time ago. after a few days it will say you need to get your zune pass again because on the music you download their is a protection called the drm. it prevents you from listing to your song after the time is exceded. so you need to convert that so that their is no drm.
that isn't technically hacking. Plus it is kind of obvious that that folder is there. Its just like iTunes's Folder. Its a history of all the music processed by Zune
The music deletes itself after a set period of time if it is not refreshed from the zune home server I do believe. Simply moving the music to a new folder does nothing.
the drm expires after a few weeks and then it wont play unless u still have the zune pass thers a way to remove that DRM from the zune music so far i tried doing this but it doesnt work is this the point of this vid? if not, I knew that all the Zune stuff gets stored on the HD including podcasts.
