no it's not that it doesn't have variety at tournamnets so yeah thats why i think they suck. and yes i'm fucking good at this game but i kinow when to take a break so i don't look like such a loser like some people who play 24/7
you post a lot lol. yeah, I already know that infinite. you can combo off any of his sjc normals. or you can just chain the adf chain together. try it out.
yeah, resets are very unlikely though. easy for a good sent to make sure that doesn't happen. the curse infinite in itself is a reset, so really, you shouldn't go for resets in and out of a curse infinite.
Also, with Anak, he has probably one of the best guard breaks. When the opp is coming in, just dashK to break their guard. When they release, Pharaoh Cobra Throw in the corner. It will take massive damage. It works because when they drop down, hes all in front of em', so you can get the full potential of all of the cobras. Mashing the buttons while doing it, can increase damage as well....
Tip for Anak pl8rs- If you mummywrap, as soon as you toss em', do a super/cancel into proton cannon. This is a very useful tactic, since he is quite weak, and you want to be quite illusive with him. Also, if you fighting some like sent, Anak can grab sent with ease, even if he does his missl sup. Since hes big, he has a harder time evading the mummywrap.....
When you mummy wrap your opp, do a sup, then cancel into proton. You have to do it as soon as theyre landing mid-range(b4 they hit the ground). This is useful when Anak is kinda low on health, and you want to save em'. A lot of Anak pl8rs fight til the death, but I like to save em' for l8tr on. He has powerful moves, so I dont want to "sacrifice" him just bcuz hes weak.
With sent, he floats when he jumps. So when hes in that animated state, his guard is not full, which gives Anak a chance to grab em' a couple of times. Just look at every opp against sent, when they get close, they all pretty much have their way with em'. So, when Sent is trying to chip or whatev, Anak can slip in a mummy wrap to neutralize his tactics. Im not saying do it all the time, but do it enough to intitmidate em' a little from rushing or chippin...
sent is flying around too much do it wrap as much as you say. one slight movement from him, cancel into flight, or even in air LK from him will mean most of anakaris' life gone. I do not recommend what you are saying.

Im not a Anak expy, I just look for flaws, advantages, etc. for all characters. Dont get me wrong, Sent vs Anak is most likely death for the mummy. But to play with him, learn his strengths & weakness, you have to explore the possibles and impossibles. And as far as Sent flying around, all Anak has to do is drop coffins, then it bcomes a ground match-Anak50%
by the time you get in the air to do the obvious mummy wrap, sent will have already cancelled.
I still say it's unlikely to be useful, and it's actually extremely risky. at the most you want him in hit or block stun before you attempt it because his fly is so fast and his limbs are long (and fast)
it does not become a ground match. sent can easily avoid them/fly around and counter you with like capcomAAA
But thats what makes this so interesting. Anaks afraid of Sent because of his damage potential, and Sent is afraid of Anaks versatile combos. But its not that risky, Anaks mummy wrap stays out for some time, so you cant just counter him with his semi-lag time. If you commit to a counter, you'll be grabbed by the wrap.
Anak vs Sent on the ground (without excessive assisting) is a pretty good match up. Theyre about the same as far as reach and speed, but I think Anak has more variety in his arsenal. Mummy wrap, mummy curse, coffin drop, he has enough to battle Sent for a considerable amount of time, maybe even victory-wise. In the corner, they both can do great damage/Sent corner combo vs Anak's Pharaoh Cobra combo, its about the same damage-wise. I take Sent overall, but its a interesting match up....
It takes nearly between 85% or 89% percent of Sentinel's life. Plus, it takes almost kills Magento and Storm. Cable is reduced to 89% or 90% percent of his life.
First, it is not mandatory to start with (j.jab, j.strong, j.fierce), the combo will do enormous amount of damage with c.short, c.foward, etc.
Second, the opponent must be on the wall.
Third, it is critical that when the sentinel rocket punch connects, that you hit that crouching fierce.
Fourth, after crouching fierce, it is important that you cross over your opponent. Your Anakaris will now be on the wall, and will set up the best spacing and timing for Asp Rush super
Fifth, now the Asp Rush super will do tons of damage, because the snakes will extends themselves very far. Try to pull them as fast as possible. If you can pull this off against any Sentinel player, they will fear your Anakaris.
The combos are simple, but they do great amount of damage. I am able to take between 75% - 83% percent of Storm, Cable, and Magnetos life bar, depending in how good I move Anakaris hands.
Yes, it is a one kill combo with Anakaris. I have practiced more with the combo, and I am sure that a more skillful Anakaris player can really kill Magneto, Storm, and Cable with it. Plus, really take an enormous chunck of life to the Sentinel.
Right now, I am trying to find combos with Anakaris that would kill the opponent with one or two combos. I have found some really good one's with Commando and Sentinel assist.

here's your homework, try connecting 2 ASP supers in an air combo. it's possible, really tricky/random, but I've done it 1 once (i've combod a lp after the asp super in the air combo once also)
As for connecting that sj.jab(lp), I have practiced and came with some surprising results.
I have connected the sj.jab(lp), like about 7 times in 2 days. Basically, in order to nail that sj.jab, there are three conditions that are necessary:
1. You must know how to move the snakes very well, and not throwing out at random. The juggle of the snakes has to be so good, that your opponent's character is not being pushed away, not even a millimeter . :-)
in that particular order. When done fast and correctly, it creates a vaccum effect that the opponent character is not moving at all, that is what you want.
If you are not fast enough to move the snakes in that particular order, then your opponent's character will be pushed away or fall out.
3. Final condition, is the sj.jab, sj.short has to be just right. Anakaris and the opponent's character should be close to each other, and should remain that way until the super ends. That is why the juggling the snakes is important.
All I can state is anyone that can pull consistently this, must have the right hand of god. Because juggling the snakes in perfect timing is incredibly hard. X-(

a simple cross under reset with sonson assist, launch, ASP kills cable.
I don't use sent though. it's an alright combo. didn't fully read, but sounds like you should be able to kill with the combo

JuanniG, I have found the air combo with Anakaris that takes a good amount of life, without any super. I have seen videos of it:
c.short, c.fierce(lauch), super jump, sj.jab, sj.short, (low punch Cobra blow), sj.jab, (low punch Cobra blow), and Mirror Drop( Idle Hands grab)
Use low punch Mirror Drop, if you are close to the wall. If you are in the middle of the screen, then fierce Mirror Drop should be used.
It takes 75 points on Magneto and Storm. Cable is about 72 p.

The juggle that is landing me that sj.jab(lp) is the
jab(snake), fierce(snake),short(snake),roundhouse(snake)

2. The second condition is the important Jab(Snake), Fierce(snake) and Short(snake). When the super is about to end, the pattern should be:
Jab Snake near Anakaris, Fierce snake a little more farther, and Short Snake should be a little more farther than both Jab and Fierce snake.
When the Jab Snake has finished treating, the Fierce and Short Snake are still retreating. That is when the sj.jab(lp) can be connected.
