  • HeinousOne101has said it all, go to freemantv(dot)com it is time to take OUR planet back!

  • I'm sure that sooner or later this explosion will be blamed on the USA,somehow all of it's problems are the result of an american conspiracy.

  • ver scary and sad...

  • Media isnt dead in the US, its just state run. By state run I mean it is bought and paid for by corporate interests. They make more money in being paid to not report certain stories then they do for reporting the one's they do report on.

Since our government is also bought and paid for by major corporations that means our media is pretty much state run media now. The Corporate Communists that run both institutions with the mighty dollar have desecrated all that the USA used to stand for.

  • Who are the corporate elite that finance the Fox News channel is 24/7 slanderous fearmongering bullshit? They have somehow tricked the poorest and stupidest into lobbying for the interests of the ultra wealthy.

  • Sounds like fascism to me. Sad thing is... you are correct. When are we gonna fight back? When are we gonna stop being spectators and become the players in our own damn lives?

  • they let people live around those places? that is just irresponsible.

  • I wonder how this effects their property value from now on

  • good point. property is only valued by the buyer.

  • Obama is responsible!

  • Blame Georgia and Bomb Tbilisi :)

  • This has gotten zero coverage in the USA.

  • Media is dead in the USA.

  • smh @ all the morons blaming this whole thing on a woman. I guess simple minds enjoy simple answers.

  • It happens in all regions. Hopefully the people in that Russian city will not be harmed beyond what has occured in this tragady. Russia is and has always been a great and important country. Some dreamers want to make easterns and non western bloc people look stupid and backwards however History can not be clouded so elsely.

  • Good RT reporting as usual - Thank you. We have had some terrible accidental explosions here in the UK too. When it comes to fire precautions you can never be too careful. My sympathies for the dead brave firefighters.

  • all of Russia is an old military silo. these explosions will happen spontaneously all around the country as armaments degrade and become unstable!! Plus only women in Russia cause fires!!

  • 'All of Russia is an old military silo' is a very ignorant statement. This could happen anywhere.

The reason why Russia has such military warehouses is because they actually produce their own weaponry, not import them off their colonial ruler like Western European nations do.

    This could happen anywhere.

  • welldone to russia!!!

  • You are right! This is ignorant statement only 1/4 is military silo. The rest is wastelands where people disappear or cities where neonazis reighn- where people of any colour other than "russian" are percecuted or even shot in the streets.

Oh yes !!! The west loves money, but you know what??? As a person of colour, I would rather live here than in Russia!

  • i got a question

can russia become a communist country again if some type of extreme circumstance happens

  • no...

  • do you think some radioactive stuff in there gave it a little extra kick. Scott (BUG) I do. smells like money!

  • radioactive stuff doesn't work like that

  • see if any one is taking readings? anyway. Thanks Scott (BUG)

  • it was a women who started it

  • LOL

  • So is this the MILITARY that is doing these blasts that are messing everybody up?

  • what's up with the 'stop' sign in english, (background to the upper right) at 01:57...kind of odd since most russians in russia can't read english.

  • Comment removed

  • English Russia » More ChernobilThe English STOP sign is accepted as the international STOP sign and therefore common in many countries of the former Soviet Union. Russian Cyrillic uses ...

englishrussia(dot)com/?p=1309 - Cached - Similar - plucked it off google.

  • maybe for tourists.

  • Very observant of you and a good question.

  • no, most Russians can read English, sins it's a requirement at school to take ether English, German or French (most pick English!)

  • Wow really? Haha, that is an interesting fact, I had no clue.

  • okay, thanks for educating me on that 'fact' about russian general education. however, your reply does seem dubiously simplistic. by your logic the majority of traffic signs in russia should be in english, since most russians read english anyway.

  • its written in english for dumbass tourists that can't read russian.

  • thats an international sign. all people in Russia understand it.

  • now that's answer I can accept, thanks.

  • I also think this was a human error.

  • Same thing happened in Sofia last summer, it left a veritable crater in the earth.

I cannot help but wonder, before explosion hid the evidence, how many bombs were stolen?

Should the blast have been 10 times more powerful you think? hopefully this is pure speculation from my part with no root to reality, with regret I plant this seed of paranoia.

All hell breaking loose sounds very scary to me, I truly hope it can be avoided.

  • in fact it's a facility for destroying decomissioned munitions. so, i don't think some got stolen. the authorities say it's human error that led to the fire followed by shells detonation.

  • exactly, only it wasn't bombs. according to channel one, 3 workshops and 2 warehouses of light firearms were burned down

  • Wasn't there a similar incident a few years ago in Russia or a former soviet republics? I believe that one happened in a remote area though and luckily, if not miraculosly, no one was hurt.

  • there was one in Ukraine

  • I have witnessed two of such "fireworks". First when I was 4, I still remember sound of flying by shells and how all adults around me were scared. Second one when I was at university, but then it was rather fun to watch.

  • get rid of those old bombs from the 1960's already

  • Must have been humidity

  • and the victims wont be compensated

  • "All hell breaking loose" is a bit too dramatic for this story, especially after the fire's ignition two days ago.

  • Old bombs and old ammo don't mix well. :/
