  • Ray Bradbury -

a prophet of the modern age!

One of the greatest living writers today and of the 20th Century...

And in the Centuries yet to come! He as been my guide.

  • Russian animators have done many cartoons from the soul, if it do a remake in Hollywood. My favorite cartoon \!

  • Nice music

  • this is great!

  • Quite a nice adaptation, though I do have to wonder that, in that far-flung future, they still haven't solved male pattern baldness. =^[.]^=

  • Those Russians sure love Bradbury....

  • @KingoffKentucky Its true, Bradbury has always been very popular in Russia, his work is close Russian classical literature, in the heart of what is happening in a person, the rest is just scenery ...

  • @oncelostmain

Бредбери the great writer. Only it can so genuinely to represent loneliness and defenselessness of the person before by itself, before the worst lines – despotism of mercantile perception of the world.

  • @KingoffKentucky

Bradbury comes from the ranks of good old sci-fi writers who really questioned why are we here and what is our purpose in the scheme of the universe.

The shit like "Avatar" alludes that we should just get all the natural resources like the greedy bastards and be done with it.

The times when sci-fi authors wrote about how a human wanted to explore the universe with open arms and clear mind are long gone.

  • @sergeontheloose

I guess you never saw Avatar. The idea of the movie was opposite. Jake Sully opposed the company that wanted to suck Pandora dry of its resourses.

  • @KingoffKentucky Hell yes, we do! =)

  • pops trippin man

  • OOOO I GET IT !!! emm sort of o_O could somebody tell me why theres no womans around?

  • ray bradbury alludes to this alien planet as earth. Earth is one living consciousness and we are the bacteria that inhabit her, we were made to protect her and EMBRACE her instead we're like that man who just wants the minerals. think of it like us being the tiny little atoms in our skin and the universe being your entire body. we serve a function just like the tiniest piece of matter in your living body. Earth is like the molecule and the universe is like the body.

  • excellent animation

  • oh my fuck

  • so wonderful cartoon :')

  • Doc Jensen from Entertainment Weekly just posted this video in his analysis of LOST this week and last week. Good stuff. This video is interesting.

  • this video makes perfect sense! to me at least.

  • nice and weird; just how i like my 80's russian cartoons

  • Thanks for posting this. I loved Ray Bradbury's books as a kid. Hello (privet in this case) Misses Planet, I'll take one of them their female companions if you got an extra.

  • me too...

  • holy shit trippin balls

  • Damn right son. This is effin crazy

  • etot multfilm kone4no otli4nij, no pomniu v detstve ego o4en ne liubil, tak kak on depresiju navodil.)a pokazivali ego vmeste s drugimi po spokojnojno4i malisi, - ne otvertisshia:D

  • da, nemnogo navodil depressiu, no mne eto prikalovilo - mozhen poetomu ya nemnogo "fuck up" teperch ;D

  • oh i thought this was based from the stephen king short story

  • Great *.*

  • Can anyone tell me what ''Here there be tygers'' means.

  • it mean "here can be tigers"

  • It means "uncharted territory". Usually, though, it would be "Here there be dragons" or "Here be dragons".

  • I love this cartoon. I saw it a long time ago as a little kid in the USSR. The music and story is absolutely beautiful.

  • somebody should sue stephen king, he wrote something by the same name, meh who cares both are good

  • Good observation but King's story consisting of the same name but a completely different plot was written long after Bradbury wrote his. Nobody's going to sue because both have tremendous respect for each other.

  • agreed i meant it as a joke though, i loved both amazingly.

  • Brilliant!! :)

  • This seems like a twilight zone. remeber the one with the lone space man is stranded on a new planet and he finds the girl and both of their worlds were destroyed. I thought it was clever that there names were Adam and Eve, more of Serlings genious.

  • seems to be that the bad guy thinks like USA today! his way of thinking like the mirror from US ! incredible!

  • @suninthefall the foreign policies of us, in no way resembles "bomb everything from orbit" you simpleton.

i can only pity the education system that produced the 26 idiots who agreed with you.

  • @zackhanscom

Oh, really ? Looks like You've got brainwashing from the education system in USA...

  • Supa freakay

  • Excellent. Didn't realise Bradbury was popular over there...

  • I bet there are many things about "over there" that you have no idea about.

  • Dead right there, bro.

  • I just love those old sci-fi cartoons! Brilliant!

  • Really good translation!

  • fascinating
