I've seen pat from my hometown area Chicago twice and while working on Nuke Missiles in Grand Forks North Dakota road tripped up to Winnepeg Canada and seen him there. Always had all his albums and he kicks royal ass. But one that can give him a run for his money is the Great Frank Marino and Mahogony Rush. And of course the fantastic Robin Trower. The three schould have done and album together. Talk about blowin your ass out of the water that show would have been epic!
" Go For What You Know..." One of the best live albums in my opinion. Deep Purple's "Made In Japan" is probably my fav'. Blue Oyster Cult's "On Your Feet or On Your Knees/Some Enchanted Evening" as well... "Song Remains The Same....." Even Mr. Page says that wasn't one of their best nights... But the whole aura of the entire album... especially "Whole Lotta Love, and "Dazed...." Incredible spontainious jams on both... Same with "No Quarter..." And the 1st five Queen albums..... Best ever made...
@aleisterktk great taste dude,..... dont forget foghat and derrringer live, unleashed in the east, (priest), the who live at leeds, lou reed rock and roll animal... i am a zep fan forever, saw the last us show ever in oakland (sunday) 1977, but one of the best concerts i ever saw was queen in oakland, 1979 i believe, j geils always put on a great show.... nuge, acdc and PT of course, to me the 70's was the best decade of music, maybe cuz i was a teenager....
wow...i remember smoking ALOT...of good weed back in the day...Afghani Red Hair... and just completely losing myself in this album...complete groove...wow..

@indianasteve1959 Wow....you and I dug the same guitarists. Saw Frank & Pat twice each, but missed out on Trower when I was working out of town.
