  • I can believe that Russians do the same as americans do.

  • Blat... im tearing up );

  • Russia wants to spend billions modernising its armed forces' equipment. Start here. Start by modernising the culture. Russia will have a stronger and more capable army because of it.

  • This also happens in Malaysia!!!! And often it is race-based. Which is why some Malaysians would rather join Singapore's army.

  • Wow 40 min. That would make anyone suspicious.

  • This is also happening in South Korean army also. Soldiers are committing suicides or go shooting rampage, because their superiors and peers constantly abuse them both physically and verbally in the name of discipline. Korean military officials always tried to cover up and it has been causing lots of uproar from Korean citizens.

  • @wonc thank you for info. I got a question. Were there any bullying/hazing during korean war?

I've during WWII in russian army was not any hazing. Cause nobody wanted to get shot from friendly fire.

  • @dizzhonest I am talking about present, not the past. Again RT is talking about what is happening in today's army. Because there was no hazing in past doesn't mean that it is not happening today.

  • @wonc You didn't get my point. Before that let me explain you something. I am from Mongolia and here is hazing also present. However it was not present when my grandfather was soldier during WWII. Same things I heard from Russians here. Therefore I am concluding that hazing is a product of peace time army, when soldiers are not provided with full ammunition, have enough free time and energy to pour aggression on each other. Thus I am asking you about it.

  • @dizzhonest reply to your last sentence: soldiers are too free, and the damn seniors want to show the juniors their seniority. Hopefully some enemy country will attack them and catch them off-guard

  • @wonc Thanks for tell us the truth about South Korean army because what we see here is only a perfect picture about SK, and they never show a bit of truth about it.

  • da tavaritch

  • When Russians go to war, they wont kill the enemy, but they'll kill their commanders instead

  • fucking russian army, those men are fucking animals who are beating others and bullying =( they should get their ass kicked 4 real!

  • Russia is one of the most corrupt places in the world. This is true whether its in the military, police, or government. It has been this way for ages.

  • Sadly, nothing new in the Russian army.

  • western media wouldnt mention such problems cause its ruled by a feminist lobby who only care about women rights, we had similar problems in germany on a ship called gorch fock, the media only mentioned about it when a women died.

  • I heard that Russian soldiers are still fed radioactive chernobyl spuds to keep up their strength.

  • @boxtortoise2003 I heard Russian soilders have to swim from russia to finland and back without spilling a bottle of vodka

  • It is totally worth to Spread the truth, expose and stop corruption. So the world can be cleaner.

  • remember the screwdriver hammer killer and the russian dude who push the victims into the well, The Chessboard Killer? they're all so mind fucked...

  • Russia has an incredibly ill-disciplined army.

  • this is been in russia for decades, nothing new. they should also talk how the officers take money to let the soldier go home for a couple of days. some pay monthly dues and never show up to serve the army. also if you have a couple of grands you can falsify the papers with officers and skip serving the army alltogether.

  • you know, often, this kind of hazing develops a stronger sense of comradeship and a more determined fighter, this isnt anything new

  • @ThePonderousWu also if one of them hits you and you bite off the side of their cheek or tear out one of their eyeballs in self defense you gain a great deal of respect from the senior that got his eyeball torn out.

of course i'd probably do what a thinking human would do in that scenario and just remove his throat.

  • Thank you, Russia Today, for offering some transparency on your own country, not just on America. We both have problems in our societies, it's time we work together to correct our situations.. Thanks..

  • @kiwabe however they do have RT America division, which dedicated to American news only. the same is BBC America and Aljazeera America...

  • wow look how great Socialism is. They force you to be in thier army so they can beat you up.

  • @richarddbeck russia is socialist?! lol u joking right?! it is more capitalist than USA! you have to pay for everything there like 3 times more than anywhere else in the world, if u poor there you die!

  • @richarddbeck Yes it is Socialist. Just because it sucks doesn't mean it not socialist. Socialism sucks. There is not a representative democracy in Russia.

  • no one to fight to they kill each other. they should step down their numbers. this is just a waste. what organization would want this reputation? it's more sad than tough.

  • This is a surprise. ? ? This as a country that in WWII, shot its own soldiers as a regular practice for disobedience, on the spot, commanding officers discretion. They have and always be a Vulgar race.

  • It doesn't make any sense to brutalize and bully potential recruits.

It is obvious they more sadistic veterans are preying on the "weaker" recruits.

    I detest bullies.

  • some people told me the russia is not that tourist friendly, now I see what they meant

  • @meis And we are not friendly to immigrants too

  • commie cowards cant beat their enemy's so they beat their soldiers.

  • The part with the mother is so sad :(. Condolences from RT's worst enemy America.

  • its cause the officer dont do shit fucking peice of shit russian army, u officers need to clean up ur act and look after ur men not ur pay check

  • Inhuman bastards,Russia will take much time to modernise and instill a sense of professionalism in their armed forces.

  • @wikifacts that's cuz u don't know georgians... not only u'll be sorry u've taken them into NATO... with them u'll be sorry u were ever born... and that ain't bad ~_~'

  • @wikifacts ok. ''Echo Moskvy'' is bashing Russia 24/7. it is simultaneously on TV, Radio, & net. all in Russian. there're few others american prop. TV stations doing the same i don't even mention the print media most of which is so anti-Russian, goebbels would have been proud of them... i really don't understand why are u not happy with the current occupational regime of Medvedev-Putin ?..they do everything u want them to. i just don't dig what did u need the georgian adventure for in 2008 ?..

  • @Pusher371 Hmmmm, sounds familiar doesnt it?

  • Bullies must be seriously punished...enough with the slap on the wrist bullshit...it should be a crime to bully.

  • Have two things to say, first don't join the army you're not doing a good thing, I repeat you are not doing a good thing. Two, if your high fucking hit back .............. as hard as you can.......

  • "...questioning the motives of RT for showing this is of utmost importance..." - oporim

My sentiments, exactly...that's all that brought me here, but then Pusher371 wanted to get cute...when it's actually crackers & spics gettin' offed over there, for the most part.

  • smalltime0, USA is fighting an enemy with foreign support...that's it. Feel better by quantifying it as "very little" tho, if you wish.

  • C0mmanderEddingt0n, I don't really give a fuck about Georgia...I was just fuckin' around...that's why I hypothetically joked that "even Georgia could probably fuck you all up..." The bottom line is, tossers want to bring-up AFG, a War that although just currently longer than the Russian's; The U.S. will NEVER allow to get anywhere close to 14,ooo casualties. AND apparently, Russia still trains their soldiers on chalkboards...so...that's basically it.

  • @wikifacts wrong, wrong, wrong. american propaganda mouth pieces totally biased against Russia, inside Russia, enjoy the protections and privileges unheard of in the west ! we're talking about both language mouthpieces bashing Russia while praising the west 24/7.

  • instead to make the soldiers grow as a person, they fucking break them down. they should be ashamed

  • a military is a brotherhood. soldiers should respect and honor each other. that woman's crying for her son is so heart breaking.

  • @ArmenOfTheNorth you right about that

  • anyways, this is not news for me, i knew people who returned home after six months and committed suicide after couple of years, but this was in 90s.

  • shameless people

  • Comment removed

  • CIVILIZED people don't behave like that. That is something to be ashamed of. Be PROUD and act like CIVILIZED people. This is the 21st century you know!

  • Putin will shoot you for this lol.

  • Not exactly 'team building' exercises are they?

How can you work as a unit with aholes beating you over the head? and for what?

Guys that haze should be line up against a wall and shot...soviet style.

  • its a shame they cant have hazed soldiers without the hazing.

  • Ok, Pusher371...we'll call the current "War" in Afghanistan an international war on terror with coalitional intervention...I mean, seriously. How stupid does that sound?

Don't play yourself, kid. You had a WAR in Afghanistan, too...for almost 10 years. And lost 14,ooo pieces of shit, probably because you all were drawing battle plans in chalk! You bitch-ass Russian nigga!!

  • @Y0UT00B3R1 USA is fighting an enemy with very little foreign support.

USSR fought against an enemy backed by a superpower and even managed to have a proper withdrawl leaving the Afghans in charge (look it up, their Afghan government lasted into the 90s).

  • @Pusher371 well, I guess we just couldnt do as well as the russians did in afghanistan ;-)

  • There soilders if theres no war there going to test there abilitys on each other, seen something like it before in self defence teach people somthing new and they want to use it to see if it works. I think its like this you can take a punch, we all hit each other, we can all take a punch, we`re all the same, we`re strong men, that sort of attitude, sounds wierd but it can bring them together and weed out who they consider weak.

  • Only murderers join military so I don't feel bad when they get killed. After all, isn't that why they joined? To kill?

  • @FCKEVRY1 You fucking idiot, most of these men are conscripted into the military, they have no choice. Also, murderers aren't the only ones that join the military, and they're certainly not the majority, people who want to serve their country or learn new skills also join.

  • @FCKEVRY1 Conscription in the Russian military is still mandatory, that means young men don't have a choice but to join.

  • @unurautare2 There are ways out of conscription-especially if you have the money.

  • @smalltime0 Not always.

  • @FCKEVRY1 they have conscription in russia.... so everyone has to serve

  • @FCKEVRY1 You're stupid, and i'm glad you didn't get thumbs up.

Not everybody who joins the military kills people.

A person can join there and be a medical aid of some sort.

  • i was gana join the russian marines. but now? FUCK THAT.

  • @GAWDclanvideos

Can we shoot those bullies on their penises? then quit?

  • @benkenser ? im sure you ment lets shoot there dicks off and then leave the army

  • Anyone know that one documentary about homo-eroticism in the Russian army? They had some accounts about hazing and there was this one gruesome death but I can't quite remember the details.

  • This is some OLD-ass BULLshit. RT and/or Russia (let's face it, one in the same) should not be praised for SHIT.

Wack-ass fucking Russians...look at that training room...old-ass desks and chairs, and a fucking CHALKboard?! Who the fuck even uses chalk anymore? That's why even Georgia could probably fuck you all up...sorry ass fuckin' Russian BITCHES!

  • @Y0UT00B3R1 Georgia fucked up Russians? WTf are you talking about? The Russians pissed all over Georgia in a few days even though they had american money, training and weapons.

  • @C0mmanderEddingt0n hey dipshit, did you know Russia didn't even have air superiority till the end of the war which is very humiliating when Georgia didn't have an Air Force.SO much for the mighty russian air force ,they managed to shoot down there own jet Russia lost about 7 jets and had a whole column of Armour annihilated by the brave Georgians. The US blacked out the region so Russia couldn't use American GPS. The flawed and tech poor Russians had to use civilian cell phones to communicate.

  • @aciamanusa lol the reason that Georgia was able to shoot down Russian planes was because they had Ukrainian Buk missiles which could easily down any US planes except maybe F22.

The US may have "black out" the region, but Russia just the other week launched 2 new satellites into orbit so that cant happen again.

What business do you have ruling little Georgia? Why has your government pumped money into funding sakashitvilli?

Brave Georgians? bwahaha they ran at the mere mention of the Russians

  • Glory tradition of Soviet Union,no wonder hundred thousand SV soldiers surrendered to German.

  • @slavixtube oh come on, it's very true. Those commentators who served in Russ army probably were bullys. Thank you RT for reporting smth negative about Russ.

  • Military is for animals anyway....kill kill kill

  • Damn I heard about this stuff 15 years ago still no improvement Russia sad.

  • Hahahahahaha. The deaths reported for US troops are either during airborne school or miscommunication on the firing range. Never beating from an NCO. gay

  • Bless that poor mother's heart....I wish I could just hold her :(

  • learn to stand up to bullies. fight them. be a strong man.

  • If someone kicks my ass, then hands me a weapon, I'd make quick use of it ;-)

  • @wikifacts Maybe like the middle east angry youth demonstrations, maybe via a coup, recently a military leader was sentenced for treason for planning a nationalist coup with other officers. Maybe thru elections, almost all nationalist parties have been banned now, not only freak-extreme-nazi parties, but common sense ones too. Recently DPNI was banned, which was the largest political organisation in Russia. Now there is talk of many nationalists combining and creating a new political party.

  • @cordfluidnevoie in Soviet Russia it was not as bad than in post Soviet Russia.

  • They would be much more tougher and well prepared for the take over of the US if they werent killing each other, oh wait i said too much didn't I?

    Наш день придет

  • doesn't the Russian army have any laws against beating soldiers? there's no way an NCO in the US army would do something like this because he would lose his own rank

  • Serving in the military is not like the girl scouts. The men and women have to learn to defend themselves from both the enemy and anyone else that wants to harm them. It is a part of military life to have to go in harms way, but the goal is not to die or take a beating from anyone. Stay on the winning side regardless of who is attacking you. If the adversary is bigger and more powerful, an EQUALIZER (club/machette/stone, etc.) may be necessary to get the opponent's attention. Take no beatings.

  • the russia army fucks one another in there asssess fucking pssies and so dose s the american army with they fags

  • I don´t understand this . Why are they beating up soldiers who did nothing . I can understand that if a soldier is not following orders or is behaving wrong you have to beat him . But if the soldier is doing everything right , why hit him ? I mean wtf?!?

  • I Hope they pass law that all involved in Hazing receive Life in prison or Death penalty. Point made.

  • Good thing Russia's govt takes notice of this issue compare to my country even though its getting serious already and still they're still shut up.

  • Comment removed

  • That is not systematic bullying! That is systematic criminal behaviour of the commanders and others that are already accepted members of the force. The reason nothing is done about it is the whole concept of the military is having a force of mindless machines unequiped to think for themselfs. What is needed is a military that has a different and honorable mandate. That is to protect eachother as they protect there homeland. Vigilantee's need to enlist and kill off the offenders(bullys) DEFENCE

  • Well lets not forget what usa is doing with Pvt Manning.. torture as well.. actually that thing happen in all world we got a similar case here in my city..

  • good job RT........unfortunately we have the same problem here in Australia too.

  • @thedevos1981 What are you talking about? No one dies in Australia from hazing, it doesnt even come close to this. Russia is in a league of its own for this sadistic barbarity.

  • @tubester4567 No one has been killed but.........the bullying does exist

  • Russians have always had this crazy tradition of exchanging punches .. But this unworthy lack of respect for the conscript is certainly inherited from communist times

  • it would be great to watch russian haze bullies fight american haze bullies in cages. THAT would be prime viewing

  • @jeebersjumpincryst Fuck yeah!

  • @jeebersjumpincryst yeah our hazing isn't this bad, we got blasted for hazing, hazing should be done to a certain extent but what these guys are doing way to much, this is why we hate the comms. they're all idiots

  • wow...thats just wrong, I didnt think RT were critical against Russia.

  • Iv been through the Russian army training. Its not on the rise. its on the decrease as Russia modernizes. Not to mention hazing will make a stronger soldier. both mentally and physically. However it can also do the opposite if your not prepared for it.

  • There is no need for Americans to train their soldiers to be real men because their sit high in the sky on in command control dropping bombs on schools and murdering innocent civilians in countries far from American shores. They call their shores and boundaries "American Interests" and indiscriminate bombing "humanitarian aid".

  • @fullahbro1 yeah and russia never fought any imperialist war and don't have any interests in foreign land... sure

  • @cordfluidnevoie My point was Americans shouldn't criticise Russians when they are no better. But they can't help themselves

  • Anyone stupid enough to join the armed forces, should suffer the consequences.

  • Man for man, gun for gun, bomb for bomb, Russians would kick American ass. In America they suppress military abuse. The American gung-ho pysche is based on video games and hollywood movies

  • Looks like Russia has real men in its army no gung ho pussies like America

  • Anyone else want to talk about biased reporting by RT?

  • @nicck what do you mean?

  • same allover the world;the army is the refuge of retards

  • Bad side of russian army. Its same in central asia countries as they where soviet union before. They have to learn from western countries army! Soldiers should help and respect each other not beat up ! Bloody russians.

  • And you kill your CO as soon as you get a gun...

  • If I was any of those soldiers that got hazed ... I would become a serial killer and kill all those inferior creatures that hazed me/others.

    Full metal jacket style ;)

  • They admit to it - that's positive. But they also need to act and enact laws to protect young soldiers. No one should suffer that kind of abuse!

And conscripts should not just take it meekly - speak up and protest! I know, they are probably scared to speak up + the culture of "survival of the fittest" is too pervasive. But to break this vicious cycle one must shout about it and make abuses public!

Post videos of abuses and names of perpetrators on youtube! That'll make authorities act!

  • @mindOall11

Black soldiers in the U.S. Army they say officially they have the IQ of a five-year-old and they offer them further education before they leave the army. What a stupid world..

  • Wow and to think everyone in the videos and the person videotaping this was paid through the government. As well the people in the army do not serve there governments they serve the major corporations it would be very easy to think that those boys were from poor families as well its always the strong against the weak. Id love to see one of those guys try to kick me like that id grab that boot and stick it right in his mouth. The strong are supposed to stand up for the weak not use and abuse them

  • In Russia when you first become a soldier, you need to survive the first important battle of your life, that's with your own service men in the military. This kind of thing goes on everywhere though, no matter what country your in, is just that in Russia at least they admit to this problem and criminality that goes on there. Just like last year with crocked cops and how the government had to intervene to bring changes to the police forces in the country. They should do the same here in the army.

  • @elite1980s

Doesn't go on in the Royal Marines. A silly bit of teenage boxing and that is all.. And even that is supervised. Bullying does not make good soldiers it makes poor bad quality intimidated soldiers. Encouragement and leadership make for good soldiers.

  • Geez, if FOX or CNN or anyone of the mainstream media reported about something similar in the US army they'd be castrated by the Pentagon.

  • Man's cruelty and sadism towards his fellow man is perplexing. It shows what a very primitive animal he still is beneath the veneer of "civilization".

  • Thanks for the report , RT!

  • THis was in 2005 yers... Now this only propoganda!

  • @DestroidALL kak polagaete zachem RT daet negativnuyu propagandu o Rossii ?

  • @MrViTopol @MrViTopol v Rossii chem bolshe rugaesh pravitelstvo i vlast, tem bolshe tvoa popularnost.

  • I was in russian army 2009-2010 years.. and i dot think this problem...

  • Get these in London all the time pretending to be Polish. They usually sleep rough on the streets. I've never understood this. If you have a problem which is so serious smile be friendly and then if you get the opportunity killed the one in charge just simply kill him. Your life your safety is more important than the one in charge use your brain kill him. Smile with him be friendly buy him something then kill him. life can be hard and you must be harder.

  • The officer beasts must be thrown out of the army !

  • Thats why we like russia today, they dare show negative stuff about russia.

  • Another proof that russians are dumbasses

  • @SGCSabotage Don't generalize, your comment is stupid.

  • @egersixsixsix kak polagaete, zachem RT daet negativnuyu propagandu o Rossii amerikanskim nenavistnikam Rossii ???...

  • @egersixsixsix kak polagaete, zachem RT daet negativnuyu propagandu o Rossii amerikanskim nenavistnikam Rossii ???...

  • Меня как раз загребают. Надо косить :D

  • Good Job RT!

  • Anti-Human Judeo Communism has turned generations of Russians into unhappy and mentally ill people !!!

  • Wow, RT is reporting on this?

  • good work RT finally some unbiased news about your country. Not the usual whitewashing of Russia. thank you.

  • @zubairalihussain

I think the report was actually biased and shallow. RT said hazing was on the increase while showing video of past years and providing no statistics to show such increase. Many commenters here who served in the Russian army are objecting to this slanted coverage. Maybe RT is earning brownie points with western viewer.

  • @slavixtube i told before that whoever runs RT it is not Russia...

  • @MrViTopol

RT has many voices and allow opposing views presented. Some the reporting is excellent, other not so much and some is quite poor. If RT really wants to do a report on Russian army they should do a better job. This to me seemed one-sided and inadequate report but it seems popular among western viewer.

  • @MrViTopol It's Armenia, oops i meant Mexico runs RT are you happy now?

  • @m213 i refer u to the post above, as to who runs RT. if it's still there

  • @m213 btw, if u think u would benefit from Russia's collapse u covet so much, u are dead wrong. u're too blind to see that now but i hope your vision gets perfect just in time when your tribulations kick in... enjoy...

  • @MrViTopol I bet this is where MrViTopol and @IgorVasilevskii come in and tell everyone else that Russians are supreme humans to everyone else while western people are junk and a pestilence to the world.

And while video documentary of soldiers abusing other soldiers is not important at all, questioning the motives of RT for showing this is of utmost importance. RT is apparently a western crony media and in this particular case should not be trusted (apparently).

  • Same reason civilian america need to be armed. TO protect themselves from their own soldiers.

  • This is an old story. Thanks for running it again. People who join the military are less than cannon fodder, often. I don't know what they are thinking.

  • It's the same in every country's army, US has the same, they called it initiation.

  • @MsUoykcuf it's called ''hazing'' in america. but they always deny its existance

  • Comment removed

  • @MsUoykcuf Yeah, but not nearly as common and severe as this, this is just awful.

  • Russain atitude in the securty council for the syrian case is shamful. Russa is very bad country

  • Comment removed

  • @Abramroni why ?

  • What a bunch of dickless faggots. How about they shove a AK up their ass and pull the trigger.

  • this is shit those boys need to be protected from this behaviour.

  • There is a big difference between being at the hands of someone who wants to toughen you up, and being subjected to the self-gratifying whims of psychopaths with higher rank who are not restricted by the law.

  • Tough is important but are brains too, some those senior officers are just cruel if there is deaths of "difficult" recruits instead of intelligently applied 'toughening' .

  • @wikifacts It wasn't worker revolution it was a coup. And no, this time it will be nationalistic.

  • @Wylff /watch?v=NSL0phAtBrA#t=0m27s

  • Best thing to do is get soldiers blood thirsty. It shows with all the murder squads in the M. East.

Countries produce killers and then are shocked when they kill. What did you expect?

  • I feel s
