What a lovely lady! Not a bad actress, either. Her autobiography is interesting but sad. She married Oleg Cassini & had a retarded daugher (& one healthy one). Fell in love with JFK in the late 1940s, she had a nervous breakdown. But her movies live on.

I love Gene Tierney! I learned about her in the 70s when her autobiography was published. What a wonderful lady who eventually triumphed over some truly bad breaks.
