Times are changing, Charley Pride, Slim Dusty, Buck Owens, Chris LeDoux, Merle Haggard... they don't cut it with the modern audience. George Strait, Alan Jackson, even Jimmy Buffet have modified a little bit to keep the attention of the modern audience.

Garth was for sure one of the most, (IF NOT, THE MOST,) Corporate backed acts of his time.
