I believe...Michael Jordan reached the status of "greatness" because he wanted to have fun and get all the excitement when he played..Greg Norman did it because he wanted to prove he, too, could be the best.

Nick Faldo did it to fulfill his childhood dream. And other golfers did it for other personal reasons, Walter Hagen and Ben Hogan included.

But I believe Tiger does it because he wants to know "how far he can go and how great he can be.." if he keeps improving himself, and his golf.

....but all of these depend on how strong..firm...stable...and powerful movement of the left shoulder...in realtion to his neck...and upper left arm...

as well as the turning of the lower part/upper part of the right leg...which turns inside the "right toe"...

you may see "something" when you keep your eyes on the right toe and watch his swing ...become aware of the other movements in this swing....

and the right shoulder can not get into a "powerful hitting position" if the left shoulder does not move properly and far enough ...

he turns to set his left hip and upper leg up "as the power house"...and unleashes it after he completes the backswing....where he gets his golf club to the "best hitting position"...

and because of his strong legs ..arms...and body...with well-timed coordination, this gives him a superb golf shot...

it is a smooth weight shift and superb transition of swing plane...

Notice the right side that is travelling backward and then move into the swing..and get into a superb finishing position...

His footwork is outstanding...all the way from start to finish...there is no jerking...

Tiger Swing is probably more fundamentally sound...it is not compact but long, very powerful, and very effective...sending the ball with lower trajectory...and running distance...you can feel "strong feedback" after the ball is hit...especially on your arms.. body and shoulders...you use the whole body to generate the power... :)
