@National06 ...Z06 commonly sounds better than the ZR1, if you knew the difference between the two... The LS7 is a larger 427 7.0L Naturally (Normally) Aspirated engine with large pipes... The LS9 is simply an LS3: Forged for PSI and a supercharger with large pipes... Which means both sound great but the LS9 will sound more like the LS3 for which your point,more horsepower = more and better noise, is contradicted. No hate though, ZR1's are Kings

@fatazachary i would never buy a zr1 when i could easily buy a z06, and a 20k twin turbo set up and have a much faster car than a zr1 for about 20-30k less... although the zr1 looks a hell of a lot better with the CF skirts... which is where the z06 carbon comes into play lol

@fatazachary The centrifugal style superchargers (vortech, oem zr1 etc) all sound great to me, especially outside. In car they are alright, I could see where you're coming from.

Those roots style chargers on the other hand (stillen for 350z, OEM cobra, KB cobra etc) are something else! Definitely a wicked sound. Not a fan on the 350z, but on cobras they are ridiculous! A buddy of mine had one on his little honda, and it sounded sick!

Is the frame aluminum hydro formed? Does the car even stand a chance on a track like Le Mans? The answer to ALL of those is no. So it looks like again the "plastic" wins hands down.

I don't think the GT is cooler than the Z06. It's not even as good looking or much faster performance wise and it costs triple the price. That's fail. They stopped production of the GT. Want to know why? The new GT would of had to pass a new safety crash test.(I believe it was a side impact test). Which meant re-designing the cars chassis. FORD opted to pull out instead.. Ford failed the GT..
