Harry, you have a Pulmonary Embolism and it's very dangerous. My son had the same event about two years ago. The local doctors played around about a month before they diagnosed him, this is not a common diagnosis! They had no luck in treating with medicines, he would require surgery. My son was smart, took the advice of his doctor and had his surgery. He's ok now.
@Edgarasmith yes that's what i have. your son had surgery!??!?! OMG that's serious. On on a couple meds now...that seems to be working. I really didn't know how serious this was until just recently. I'm glad to hear your son is doing well. thanks so much for sharing!
I believe that there is life beyond this life, and that you will spend an eternity somewhere. I would strongly encourage you to consider the message of Jesus Christ (i.e. pardon for you sin and reconciliation with God). If you ever want to talke, please drop me a line. I hope all goes well, and of course I'll pray for you and your family. Take care.
@veritasfiles thanks for you message. there's a LOT going through my mind since my hospitalization. Sadly, it usually take a traumatic experience like this to get our lives in perspective. I will be focusing more on the important things from now on. thanks again!
Harry, I'm glad your in the hospital because they are correct, a blood clot can easily kill you, not just injure you. My father had a similiar probably, and he is still on warfarin to this day. I have another friend who was in good shape and had a 100% blockage in his heart at 41 years old. I will certainly pray for a swift recovery for you, and I would urge you to consider "ultimate issues". CONT'D
I thought this was kind of a weird video title, well now I know why! Sorry hear about all this Harry. Take care and I wish the best for ya. It sounds like you have it all figured out. Without our health we have nothing. So true! I'm glad you were able to take a little time to make a vid to share your thoughts. Get well and get out in the sun!
@growby10 when you were exercising and eating healthy, were you making sure to drink at least 64 oz. (half gallon / 8 cups) of water per day?? Simply drinking water can flush your system out so you don't get blood clots.
@Growby10 Especially if you're exercising, because your body releases perspiration (sweat), even if you don't feel it or see it on your skin. That's why you need more water than if you're sedentary. Just go out and buy a half gallon (64 oz.) water bottle. Fill it up every night, put it in the fridge, and then make sure you drink all of it the next day, then of course repeat.
you said you had just started an exercise program..... that stuff will kill ya. exercise kills. lie down. :)
