  • Very special album and I never get tired of hearing it. Thanks for posting it.

  • I just wish I was somewhere near as good as Buddy or Jimmy or any of those guys, so as to be able to play behind someone like Ray Price. Great uploads mrpete222.

  • That is not the video to match this recording. Steve is the steel player in the pictures and are you sure its not Jimmy Day on steel on the recording. Buddy always plays more jazzy...My former husband played with Price on the road, and from the style, sounds more Day-ish to me.

  • your posts are always first class..Thank You

  • Thank you for posting this masterpiece of honky-tonk perfection. Words simply can't describe my absolute admiration for Mr. Price and Mr. Emmons at the moment.

  • Thanks for all your videos, mrpete. I haven't found a bad one yet. ♥ ♫ ♪

  • The third master of that stage is Dale Morris Jr. on the fiddle! Thank you, Dale, for for your elegant perfection on your fiddle!

  • Great version of a country classic - anybody have the version by Dale Watson that they could post?

  • Two masters,Ray and Buddy....you can't lose with those guys. Not to mention the rest of the band! Great song off of a great album...Night Life.Dad said they told Ray at one time he was too twangy for country, then they told him he was too cityfied for country music....I guess his career speaks for itself...just shut up and let the Chief do his thing!!Keep it up Ray, we love your music!!

  • This is one of the best Honky-Tonk Dance Hall music songs ever recorded.

    Great job Ray..
