Warcraft has always been about realistic looks as seen through these amazing cinematics, but Blizzard use to be a relatively small company and their games were limited by budgets and technology. This cartoony trend isn't "stylized" its just lazy and bad.

Now it is who can get to the end-game the fastest and spend days upon days raiding the same dungeon for virtual gear which is replaced in the next patch. Or endless "capture this BG" for relatively minor buffs.

@ryder187mac I always played on an RP realm, but there we few to choose from. They invariably became populated by PvPers who were annoyed with the long wait times in the PvP and PvE realms. I always played for the story. How many people who play WoW now are even aware of the history?

@Sethrezin I don't know which realm you're on but on the RP realm that I played on, PvP and PvE were dead if you were to compare them with Normal / PvP realms. And the waiting times depend on which battlegroup you're in, this isn't vanilla where you could only do a BG with players from your realm. A good RP guild and some enthusiasm is all you need to enjoy the game; it's as good as you make it for yourself. :)

Tirisfal glades should look like in this trailer at 0:50 in cataclysm with dark forests etc... to give the real creepy forsaken feeling to the zone. Tirisfal glades need more darkness and purple xD. Blizzard should also update all the zones so they match the level of detail of northrend and cataclysm.

@RabidWolf1966a what made wow so great was the friends you met and the challege of it. You got to down bosses that made you feel epic with friends. Now you can just queue into random heroic dungeons and rush through it as fast as possible without any thought to lore, or epicness. Truely killed the game there. PvP used to be about you vs the other person, where the only reward was pride. Right now no one cares or does world pvp, unbalanced arena 3v3 is considered the only thing that matters...

@Claad2 I've downed Heroic LK, got to 2200 rating in arena.

Im saying that going out with friends and getting lost trying to find a 5 man dungeon was more fun. Running together with friends to queue for warsong glutch and meeting 10 horde on the way there was more fun. Summing a member to a 5 man instance and being attack by horde was fun. Raiding together with 40 people trying to do Naxx (level 60) would make heroic ICC look like a cakewalk. Your first time stepping into stormwind was fun
