  • Your weldings are not so impressive...:D

  • good job.

  • how good is the turning? you dont have a differential

  • i have a couple questions(if you even read these comments anymore)how fast does it go,is it street legal?how much money all together,im only 14 i dont get very much for my allowence each month its only 20 bucks :(. plus 100 for x mas.

  • @tabithaketz I just finished mine, I went to a small motor shop (princess auto) and just for the drive train i spent $132

  • haha great kart man, i dont think your a retard or something

  • how much did it all cost together

  • you made this very well,i plan to make something like that, but I could not find the materials until now,a few days before i faund a one guy who has everithing to make this,so,on the end of this month it will be done,i will post a video. and thanx for you i got an ideas, great ideas, tnx!!

  • lol for u amercan people

  • That's a very nice go kart, very simple, very very cool. I like it. Simplicity is key.

  • how much did it cost without the brakes and engine

  • hey bredon how much hp do i nedd for a 300 pounds

  • 2 hp engine? and so much steal ?

    that makes it so slow

  • Bravo my friend. I'm 37 and can't say I've ever built anything that cool.

  • seriously that welding is terrible

  • how much did this cost you?

  • what engine is that

  • hey nice job congrats. great go kart.

  • hmmm how fast can it gi becus min can go 15mph

  • About how much does it cost to build the go kart?

  • how fast can it go?

  • @backwoodsmods well i wouldnt say any northern kid wouldnt get how an internal combustion engine works and i guess i shouldnt have said southerners arent smart either but i myself as well as plenty of my other friends know more than a thing or two about engines but there is a big group of kids that dont know how to add windshield fluid to a car =\ its because everyone around me is all caught up in things that waste time and they arent focusing on things that are useful in life

  • @reap62 What you thing is useful is not to others. That is why we have mechanics and we have lawyers. Some people enjoy other things. Some people dont want to no about engines as it doesnt interest them. As maybe you or I dont care about politics or the like. Knowing how to fill up windscreen (windshield if your American) wiper fluid isnt necessary to know.

  • @reap62 Follow on from last comment: This is why we have services done on our cars. Sure, you and I can do our own services as we know about engines but when we need a lawyer... So you see, what is useful to know to someone, isnt useful to another person. Everyone has different interests. That is why everyone has different jobs and when we need something done we dont know, we take it to someone who does. We cant know everything.

  • @brendonv101 i got to agree with backwoods i mean youre right i dont expect people to go to uti (american mechanics school i dont know if theres any in australia) because they own a car but they should know atleast a little bit of everything they can and youre right everyone wont know everything about everything and thats why we have specialized jobs but the more you know the less reliant you are on other people doing things for you and i try to live by that as much as possible

  • @brendonv101 and i dont want you to think im trying to start a fight because im not those are just my opinions and you should be entitled to your own just like everyone else

  • @reap62 Nah man I totally agree with ya. Im doing a heavy duty diesel mechanic apprenticeship so I know a thing or too about motors haha.

  • @brendonv101 ohh i see, if you can try to get in with like the railroad or maybe work on farm equipment heavy duty diesels are where the moneys at unless you become the crew chief of a nascar pit crew or something either way diesels are really cool, the way i see things diesels are gonna replace gas cars in the future because theyre clean reliable and have very high power to weight ratios

  • @reap62 Im in Australia. Im going up north to the mines to work on 797's, D9's and that sort of stuff.

  • @brendonv101 thats good, just going by the video your atleast somewhat of a mechanic and your a pretty clever welder and fabricator whos really good at things like improvising and skills like that are infinitely expandable and very valuable when your looking for a job like that and i know im just a person on youtube but good luck to you and i hope you get in somewhere doing work that you love

  • @backwoodsmods I guess its because you have a lot more farms and stuff in the south so you are required to have some mechanical no how in order to succeed in business. Where as up north its more business people that wouldnt have a clue what a spanner looks like.

  • @backwoodsmods i like southerners because your right most of them arent rocket scientists but common sense is actually common down there as opposed to up here

  • im american and im kind of embarassed that people couldnt use their common sense to go hmm hes talking about a throttle and he just said carbi, maybe that means carburetor also very cool go kart its simple and very clever maybe in the future you can get some real money put away and built an even bigger cooler one with like a 300cc engine or something big=)

  • WHAT KINDA MOTOR,AND WHERE ??

  • maybe you should find a life or a g friend

  • Wenn du schneller als sonstfahrenwillst musst du ein großes Ritzel beim Motor setzen und ein ganz kleines auf die Radstange

  • can you use a weed eater engine

  • Whoa man! Tearing shit up in wet/nice grass is intense stuff, man! I mean, It's not like I have done any sort of drifting in wet grass... Definitely not in a single-wheel powered 3hp go-kart...

  • Your steering "wheel" is homo.

  • Sprzedam gokarta z silnikiem od WSK 125. Cena 400 zł do negocjacji jak coś :)

  • did you use a lawn mower engine i was thinking of making my own go kart with a lawn mower engine

  • @Techfreak121 well i used an edger engine but a mower engine would work providing its a horizontal shaft engine.

  • did you use a lawn mower engine to make the go kart im thinking of making my own go kart with a lawnmower engine

  • what is the part called in part one 1:55? and is that a lawn mower engine

  • is that a lawn mower engine? and what is the part called near the wheel in part 1 that spins?

  • good video but 2 hp? thats it?

  • hehehehehehehehehe u talk funny

  • how much would a complete gokart build cost? like for everything?>

  • @Imsodamnhood ehh depends. For a start, put away about 500ish bucks.

  • @brendonv101 Thanks. I've been looking around at everything I'll need. I was gonna use a little 4hp honda motor from a ride lawn mower, but my buddy is parting out his ninja 250, so we're going to use that as our motor. I haven't decided what I'm going to do about the frame yet

  • how much weight does this engine support

cuz i'm making a 4 passenger go kart and i was wondering how many hp and cc would be enough to support the weight of 4 people

  • @egyshredder3 Well ive had about 120kg on there no worries. However if your going to power 4 people you would really need at least a 250cc motorcycle engine. No lawnmower engine will be powerful enough.

  • @brendonv101 im making a 1 passenger go kart, would a lawnmower engine work for it??

  • @yoyonicksprayman Yeh. You want about 5hp+

  • @jblegge ??? Shutting the engine off wouldnt do anything. The clutch would still free wheel. A lawnmower engine would work providing its a horizontal shaft engine. I have an engine that is used on lawnmowers on my kart. A vertical shaft engine can be used as well, however you need a L shaped drive to convert the vertical into a horizontal. Like they have in ride on lawnmowers.

  • @brendonv101 dude when you let the off the throttle on a lawnmower it shuts off you idiot, and why would you scrap a ride on lawnmower, they are ALOT of money.

  • @jblegge

Its become quite apparent you have no idea how a lawnmower works.

  • @jblegge its called a clutch you fucking retard learn something about how a go kart works beofre you post retarded comments

  • @yoyonicksprayman NO, you wouldnt be able to stop without shutting the engine off

  • @yoyonicksprayman has to e side shaft

  • im doing the same design but putting a 5hp briggs and stratton engine on and going to try to put on lights

  • very cool go kart!!

  • what cc is it i want to build a 400cc go kart it will be hard

  • hey how long did it take to make this?

  • are there any kind of transmission?

  • why dont you drill a hole through the wheel bolts and shove a cotter pin in it so they dont come loose

  • what engine is that?

  • @Cod3ing Nah there to small. Unless you put two on there but it would still be pretty crap.

  • were did you get the things from to build the go kart can you tell me and is a 4.5hp motor good for a go kart

  • @reviewingproducts 4.5hp is good. I got most of my things from go kart shops, ebay and hardware stores.

  • Im building a cart similar to this but im using and stronger briggs and stratton. For the front wheels, would i need to have bearings? could i just grease up the rod holding the wheel? and also what kind of brake did you use?

  • @MRsageprductions Nah u need bearings.

  • i will buy it off ya for $300

  • what type of welding is that?

Is it called pidgeon shit welding?

  • @harjunLFS LOL!

  • i want to buy or make one but there is no place to ride it cause my gay yard is small

  • thats a 49cc i beleive.

  • @RedRidersTV 106cc actually.

  • can we see you ride it I want to see if it actually works

  • The reason your tires are burning out when you turn is because you have a positive track axle. If you where to have gears with spider gears in axle is wouldnt do that but its a lot of shit but if it works good then fuck it nice cart!!!

  • i got the same motor actually 2 but both have broken carburaters

  • how much money was it

  • its a pains in the ass to cconnect the throttle to the engine; (

  • well done man really good job i mean you got a future metal working but anyway im makin one of my own i have 2 questions one how many horse power is ur engine and what did you use to bend all the metal thx and o ya GO KIWI NEW ZEALAND AL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA

  • @illegalPirates This one was 2.5hp but i recommend at least 5hp. I got a 4hp on there now and its good for my 60kg weight. I didnt bend the metal i cut and welded it. U can bend it though with a bender.

  • wow your go kart gives me an idea for my go kart

  • dude your welds aren't safe.

  • yo dude i built mines jus like dis 1....but my engine is 175 hp i got it from an old kawasaki bike,,,,,,,tnx for ur video

  • chicken shit welds.

  • @MRkallek91 all of the welds blow ass.

  • I have that same engine on my cart, old but fast :)

  • the welding is shit. jk

  • @youraregoingtohurt22 not jk. they are.

  • nice cart

  • how fast does it go??? im useing a 2hp on my mini chopper project but with a much smaller sprocket. btw its a 2.75hp OHV china clone got it for $80 (usd) I might be planning to break the record for fastest 2hp-3hp mini chopper I found a larger carby in my parts box I might run it on nitrometh. and it will have wide open exhaust i have another silencer for it thoe so i can ride in my neighbor hood : )........illegaly...lol

  • depends how u gear it. This one went about 40km/h

  • how much horespower is yours?

  • to much talk and no show!!

  • get some locking nuts for the wheels...and reinforce the frame, and reweld everything...Then it will be really nice!

  • It has nylock nuts on the wheels.

  • You shoudnt've made a hand brake because its easier if u had a foot brake and plus it would be more convinient!

  • yer ive changed this to a pedal now.

  • yeh u should make a vid on that aye

  • and the chea is jus a nowmal schoo chearr...

  • NICE CART!!!!! THO :)

  • thewre is 3 hoes but it cant go through one hoe???

  • hmmm...not that hard to figure out "Carbie" means "Carb"...we're not THAT stupid...

    nice cart, anyway man

  • haha i got a 5hp

  • change the steering

  • how much time and money did this go kart take. cuz i want to start on one

  • It's not cheap, and it's not easy, but if you stick with it, it's more than possible.

  • dont say u "american people"

  • 2hp and burn out/?

  • nice job looks awsome

  • how did you get the base amd motor

  • if you brake the drive shaft doesnt that kill the engine??

  • No as it has a clutch so when it goes to slow the centrifugal clutch just un grips and it freewheels.

  • i recomend u get an angle grinder u can clean up those welds it looks nice then trust me

  • hey those welds look like crap.. but i better be quiet :P ..i can weld for shit..

Awesoome cart and keep practicing at those welds..i should also start welding so i learn doing it.. im crap :D

  • does that 3 hp motor have enough power? im thinking about buying a gokart from this kid with a 3hp briggs motor and a full roll cage, and i dont know if the motor will have enough power.

  • Hrmm not really, i would but it if its cheap and put a better engine on it. It doesnt really go good in dirt, it goes good on road but has no acceleration. Better to get a 5hp+ engine.

  • thanks it kind of makes sence the other gokarts ive had have been 5hp and almost too powerful for the age i was when i drove it

  • hey where do u get a small clutch at? im 13 so i cant get stuff off ebay and junk

  • get your dad to go on ebay for you

  • @shinyfuzzy find a go kart shop they have them

  • why yellow ?

  • coz i like yellow?

  • lol

  • yeah i hope it doesnt!! anywayz thanks for the info :)

  • np man.

  • kool thanks what size is the shaft?

  • 5/8", fingers crossed it wont snap, hasnt yet!

  • how much did the bearing blocks cost each?

  • 25 bucks.

  • your awesome dude...and lucky to have good welders and crap.....whats good about your stuff is that most of it is made up of stuff from bunnings and scrap bike and stuff.

    good work man

  • what type of engine did you use?

  • Briggs 3Hp he shows it hen he first got it in some of his other vids

  • the axle is rusting bad

  • it will only rust on the surface, it will take 20years for it to rust through. Its also rusted quickly cost i left it on the grass and the sprinklers were on.

  • holdy jesus $150 to ship dude .... wow

  • i thought someone would pick up on my mistake. I meant $150 shipped, shipping was $50. lol.

  • Carby who wouldnt know thats short for carburator!!!!! Seems pretty logical to me.

I love zip ties one of the most handy things to have.

the use of the electrical connector would have made my scooter/chainsaw bike so much easier...

    Im loving the burnout status!!!

My lawn looks the same from petrol been spilt!!

  • Americans. Stupid people lol.

  • I like the part about the carrby!!!!!!!!!!retarted lamo
