It probably uses a DART 454, complete motor made from dart, and only designed like a chevy 454, but in reality, its not a chevy motor at all... unless hes not using a dart block. or something similar

You can do it with a ford engine. I never understood why goobers put chevy engines in mustangs. too me if you are such a big fan of chevy then use the motor in a chevy, at least keep it within GM cars.
But more power to you if you use pontiac motors in firebirds and buick engines in grand nationals.

Now on the other side of things, i saw a Camaro on Pass Time that had a big block Ford engine in it and when they asked the guy why he did that he said "i wanted it to go fast!" I though that was funny since you dont see many chevys powered by ford

Rethink that one plz. Make of the vehicle is much more than style/looks. It's total weight, weight distribution, suspension geometry, etc...The engine provides very little to the overall package. Power is power,whether it's provided by a Ford, Chevy, Dodge, whatever.
That's a whole lot of horsepower. What's his setup? Thats gotta be something like a 500 cube twin turbo running race gas and maybe nos. 1500 to 2k hp?
