  • "what are we going to do to make sure it never happens again?"

Get a better government who aren't corrupt.

  • What a stupid thing to say, First thing that comes to my mind is that if, they are going to tax banks then it's all going to cost US even more money just to keep our money in the banks, for them to use in another economic crisis. SCROUNGERS!

  • All these policies are borrowed or taken from either the lib dems or obama, its popularist and quite underhand. I am also not entirely sure I believe that cameron has the power to steer his own party to proper and correct legislative reform and regulation let alone face off the party donors, many of whom are heavily involved in the banking sector and the ever dubious murdock ruled press. I do not trust you on this Cameron

  • It's very easy to be wise after the event, Mr Cameron; but why did the Tories constantly push for even less regulation when Labour were de-regulating the banks far too much. Would we now be in an even worse position if they had been in power? The Tories are traditionally the closest to the banking industry and I have no confidence in their ability to take the necessary action, too many close friendships and back-room deals.

  • As mush as I don't like him, Gordon Brown is the only one who actually explains HOW to do things - Cameron just yammers on about "we would do this, we would do that" with no explanation as to HOW they would do that. It's been the same his entire campaign..."we'll put more money into the NHS, education, police, and fire fighting...but we won't tell you how.

    Liar liar liar liar.

  • "I met someone with a garden the other day..."

  • Captain no real ideas strikes again Dave is so transparent so little policy so like Blair in his mannerisms . He feels like the voice box of the silent rich master race

  • I WANT IN.

  • build up a bank of money for the next crisis? I'm not sure with all these cuts and belt-tightening we can afford to have a big pot of cash waiting for them to screw up again.
