i should have known.I have many beautiful sounds from the Pearl flutes.However it is down to the player to bring out the music and you are one of the best performers I have heard in a long time.You play from the heart and so many musicians miss this.Amazing truly!

That was a Zoom H2. I added some reverb to get a "better" sound.

Apart from the reverb I didn't alter anything in the Audio processing. No cracks have been removed, no sound compression, etc. My living room is very "dry".

Do you know where I can get the piano music for this piece?? I only have the Flute part, and I wanted to play this with somebody who plays piano, would be nice.

And is it really that fast? I always play it slowly, I like it better that way.

I play it slower either. I think it depends on what you prefere, but as I remember it's a slow piece.

This was very well played, but can I allow myself to ask, have you been breathing in the right spots? It sometimes sounded like you weren't breathing in the right places. But hey! I'm not a pro ^^;; In fact, will be starting my studies at university only next year, but I was just asking. ^^;

I'm not a pro either. I breathed at the places my teacher told me to. When you have finished university you can get back to me and tell me what would have been the right places, OK? :-)

Well I've listened again and on the scores that I have, the breath marks are written and around 1 minute I can notice that you breathed a bit too late. Other than that I think it was right.

Everyone plays this too fast because Rampal did; it's WAY harder going slow but better. This tempo just runs right through all the beauty. Bach too fast is Bach ruined as far as I'm concerned.

I don't know what's the correct speed for that. I used a playalong CD that came with the sheet music and that's why I play it as it is. Depending on what you expect from Bach music, Bach will probably *always* be ruined by me, because I'm just a mediocre amateur. Which means that I'm doing this just for fun :-)
