  • @habakibi68 You are right!

  • Steve Waugh messed with the wrong West Indian

  • Amby should have pulled his Di$* out and slap Steve in the face!

  • I love how people say aussies are a disgrace to cricket, it seems to me all of the games corruption, gambling, match fixing comes from the sub continent. These countries do not even know what honesty is, they have tarnished the game irrevicably.

  • @arod1483 Aussies are a disgrace, there is no doubt about that. Cheats, liars and sissies who run to mommy umpires when the shoe is on the other foot.

    Whining idiots.

  • @trackblazer23 ...which is why he went onto to score 200 in the second innings numbnuts. Steve Waugh took what he gave.

  • @tgmcrad

Read my reply once again bumbling fella.. simply cuz u got access to a keyboard and a net connection doesnt warrants for a sane reply.

  • Hey folks, it's aussies who tampers this game.. with bad blood.

good Sledding by aussies gr8 time bowler but he was in the recieving end @ last...

McGrath to Ramnaresh Sarwan: “So what does Brian Lara’s di*k taste like?”Sarwan: “I don’t know. Ask your wife.

  • its not about winning always players should have respect for eachother and australian cricketers are assholes

  • aussies are dis-grace to cricket

  • Great stuff, nice post! Shame about some of the nonsense written by other posters really.

  • @Bhaskarjyoti1992 you are right. actually australia was populayed by the hoodlums and raggamufiims who got an offer after 2nd WW to migrate to aus from UK just for 1 pound sterling, travel expense and food during journey plus a house and 75 acres of land was included in that 1 pound sterling. aussies r the real racist bastards. but i can not understand why u indians still dream to go there even when they r killing indian students. after canada australia is like pilgrimage for sikhs

  • steve and mark combined would not be enough to lift ambrose's ass for a couple of seconds..:)

  • looked like ambrose would kill waugh....so scary he looked... :-)

  • i miss those days when Ambrose running in to bowl, every ball looks like it will brake the wicket

  • Oh yeah, by the way, Australia won this series ;)

  • Steve Waugh is from the western suburbs of Sydney. Pretty sure someone like Curtly Ambrose wouldn't scare him.....as the video shows.

  • Ambrose is one of the greatest to ever play the game but Tugga Waugh made about 3 hundreds in that series including a 200 !! I reckon Ambrose was just as scared as Tugga was !!! Tuff as nails mentally.

  • Aussies are, will always will be racist fucks. don't fuck with blacks or pakistani's..

  • @orangeandapplefull Nice bit of unintentional Irony.

At first I thought you were joking, but I actually think that you don't even realise.

10/10 for lack of self awareness orangeandapplefull.

  • @orangeandapplefull To try and help you understand the comment of "PascalsWager5": You claimed that one race will always be racist. This is a racist comment in itself. You then stated not to "fuck with blacks or pakistani's", which is also a racist comment. This is what we call irony. You can look it up. It was oft-discussed in the film "Reality Bites", which may help too. Good luck with identifying the right end of a cup to use.

  • those were the days

  • Parore- "Why are you so fat Warney?" Warne- "Cause every time I fuck your woman, she gives me a biscuit!"

  • Im an aussie and i dont know about this aussie take it to far but there was nothing wrong with that bowl however waugh is just shy of 6' and Ambrose is closer to 7' then 6'

moral of the story dont fuck with someone that big

  • ambrose you da best mun

  • @habakibi68 I dont care about cricket that much!

  • Its was great to watch Ambrose & Walsh bowling together for WI. Only players like S.Waugh could stand them. If it were me I'd have piss in my trousers lol

  • Definately if its comes to a real fight! Ambrose will beat him like hell! lol

  • I dont know for what reason these aussie cricket team are so proud on themselves, too much proudness leads to the over confidence and see these lost in the World Cup 2011!!! They should learn a lesson from this!

  • @wonderguy8282 You can't generalize bro! The team right now is clearly not even half as talented as the Proud Aussie team we all know of.. no Gilchrist, Hayden, Symonds, Warne, McGrath.. now you know what that means!!

  • @harishrathnaala The downfall of the Aussies are due to their over confidence and proudness!

  • @wonderguy8282 They were way more confident in their ability to win and PROUD in 2003 and 2007, how'd they win the World Cup then?

  • @wonderguy8282 duh cricket is a game mate if you play well you win otherwise you loose. Its more about performance then being proud or anything.

  • @doggiegunner Agreed with you but i saw on many occations that they are being rude with many other team players!

  • The first ball leave by steve was as funny as any i've ever seen...I mean look at the balance, and the amount of pre-meditation involved... he was intimitdated, and i don't blame him...

  • waugh shit in his pents :P

  • Ambrose vs Waugh = T-Rex vs Kangaroo =)

  • @ilifeform true dat.... more like a kangaroo's ass tho

  • @gabbrupakistani

I think you'll find you paki cheating lying cockroaches are the colour of shit, coincidence? Paki's should be deregistered, you're all cheats, just a matter of time before more are found out, nice choke the other night, your team must have bet on themselves loosing?

  • Conclusion....never fuck arround with someone like ambrose no metter u r a white aussi shit....cz ball does not c....whether u r an ausi or not..chers man

  • @GabbruPakistani

very well said gabru pakistani. :D the ball doesn't see u r an aussi or not. haha :)

curtly ambrose was a great bowler and aussi as usual fuck with everyone and so waugh paid for that

  • @GabbruPakistani you pathetic terrorist!!!! just cause aussies play better cricket and don't throw games like akmal.go back to your shit hole of a country and cheat.

  • @GabbruPakistani Yep, he only went on to make 60 odd and then 200 in the next test. Curtly sure showed him. He got into Ambrose's head like Rupees get into Paki players pockets.

  • @GabbruPakistani really? Or how about stand up to a fast bowler famous for intimidating batsmen, messing with his head and then going on to be the most successful captain in australian test history. It pays to fuck around mate. Good luck against England.

  • @GabbruPakistani Yeah silly Steve Waugh, making over a half century and then 200 a few days later. Ambrose sure got to him hey?

  • @GabbruPakistani LOL Steve Waugh made a double century in this game numbnut!

And Australia won the series. I think he had the last laugh!

  • Curtly should pick on his own size. Why didn't he have a go at Merv???

  • its not wise to argue with a man, who got a cricket bat , all the guards and a helmat.........

  • lol Ambrose would have picked up Waugh with one hand and threw him out of of the stadium. I dont know why Waugh was talking back to him, I certainly wont. Either way two great players competing like this is amazing

  • The Ice man of cricket vs the Raging Bull. Top stuff!

  • the story goes like this.

Ambrose was staring down waugh, then waugh said "what the f**k are you looking at?" It then followed with Ambrose returning, "Huh?! What?!". After this, Waugh stated, "Why don't you go and get f**ked?". This REALLY sparked Ambrose.

True, I've got a book of the worlds best sledging.

  • Would take a lot to rattle Steve Waugh.

  • no drama mate, just LOVE Steve Waugh!! and I think Ambrose was the best fast bowler ever!

  • Steve baby u stinks so bad change ur multiple diapers

  • @VICTIMofSYDNEY take your time to add a stupid arse comment loser!

  • @delamitrius @ i apologize for commenting ur daddys diaper stinks ! but thats what Ambrose was complaning to steve

aussie cant play competitive cricket neither they can make good diapers any more

once again i m sorry mate

  • Watch this video carefully. the umpire actually tells Ambrose to hit Waugh on the shoulder

  • Ambrose repeatedly stared Waugh down during a searing spell, and Waugh, who sized up the towering quick, said: "What the f--- are you looking at?" Ambrose was stunned because, as Waugh says, "no one had ever been stupid enough" to speak to him like that. Ambrose replied, "Don't cuss me, man", before Waugh's response, which had nothing to do with bowling. "Unfortunately, nothing inventive or witty came to mind, rather another piece of personal abuse: 'Why don't you go and get f--ed.' " - The Age

  • @yourfan2 Seriously man?

You are a shitty human being.

  • @yourfan2 Go to hell you sick minded freak? So you are happy of all the pain that Glenn McGrath went through when his wife died? You're a downright fuckwit and you don't deserve a place on this earth.

  • @yourfan2 go to fucking hell u sick fuck. y dont u run your ass into oncoming traffic or jump off a building.

  • @yourfan2 DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @benbobemhayley

Yup... Waugh was an absolute dog. Wouldn't back down from a fight. Awesome player too... and a gent. Refused to take a role in IPL because he was too busy with charity work.

  • @benbobemhayley

Just realised you were calling yourfan a dog for his crappy comments about Jane McGrath. Still, Waugh was like a street dog in his attitude.

  • @lukequixotesanjose Yeah that guy has been mouthing off on a few cricket vids about Jane McGrath. I don't mind people getting stuck in thats fine but there is a line you don't cross. Steve Waugh was like an old street dog though he was by far my favourite cricketer and still is.

  • @benbobemhayley

I'm English, and when I see the spam that Warne was a cheat and took drugs, or comments about Jane and all the other crap, I find it sad as that is not in the spirit of cricket. I dislike Ponting being booed when he walks on the pitch.

I go into schools to do outreach work. One time I was talking to an Australian working over here as a teaching assistant (her fella was posted in the area). We got talking about cricket. She told me that her cousin played at a high level...

  • @lukequixotesanjose,

Your right, its not nice to mock Jane Mcgrath. That was very sad.

But Shane Warne however deserves all the stick for his drug business ROFL

  • @lukequixotesanjose

I completely agree with you. It's just not cricket and I don't mean that facetiously. Cricket still means something more than sport to many people and I think a bit more decency and understanding is called for from fans as well as players.

Let's respect great cricketers for what they are or were on the field and leave it at that.

PS I'm English and I'd say Shane Warne is one of the very greatest cricketers of all time and it was a privilege to watch him play.

  • @benbobemhayley

(con'td) I asked how high, and she sadi Australia. I thought she meant Australia A or a development side. When I asked more she said 'no one has heard of him over here, but his name is Glen McGrath.' I was like... oh my God!!! Anyway, I explained cricket is not that big here but I had heard of him. I said it was a shame about Jane, and what cracking work he was doing for charity. She said had it not been for Jane, he might have played on a but longer. (cont'd)

  • @benbobemhayley So comments about Jane because he was a thorn in the English side are a poor show. He's still a human. IMHO I thought he was a bad loser at times, but he was a great bowler. It takes a bigger man to stand up and say the other man was simply better than us. He was with a cherry in his hand. That's how I felt about the Siddle hat trick. That hurt me through to the bone, but you have to put your hand up and say well done. Too much hate on cricket boards. Shame for the great game.

  • @lukequixotesanjose VERY TRUE AND WELL SAID

  • @yourfan2

    You disgust me.

  • Sledging has no place in cricket. Australians can give, but cannot take. Michael Clake was so afraid after the split with Lara Bingle that someone would sledge him about him. So the Aussies put the sledging limit at "son of a bastard"? :) OK. Who are we to follow that rule. We will go to child molestation, vagina fisting and necrophilia. Sledge Haddin by saying that you will rape his young daughter, sledge Clarke by saying that you will drill your hand thru Lara's vagina :)

  • should have killed the cracker. wouldn't have had mcgrath, etc. having the balls to be the biggest bastards on a cricket field ever.

  • stephen waugh,s the man all u pussies eff off

  • Am I getting old, or was cricket that much more exciting and better to watch in those days?

  • @mesixpence

Yes you are and until this Ashes series, yes it was. I've been watching cricket since the early 70's but of course I only really remember the good bits. Curtly Ambrose was one of those - he looked terrifying. Steve Waugh's got BIG balls.

  • That is seen as defining moment for Australia, it showed that the WI fast bowlers were no longer feared

  • Curtly to Waugh "Dont cuss me man!"

  • AMBROSE & WALSH - A BATSMAN'S NIGHTMARE

    /watch?v=bESyrvLpa2o

  • do you have full video of this

  • People need to stop fighting on silly shit. Sledging is what makes the game interesting. Athlete need to show how tough he is mentally.

The only problem with cricket is Aussies get away with lot of stuff on field while other teams are fined for the same actions

  • Prorpr

  • Steve Waugh & Shaun pollock, cool players of all time.. :-)....

  • The monkeys always come on here having a cry about the aussies ...why????? The answer is simple. Tall poppy syndrome.

Im sick of coming on to watch cricket to find some monkey indian having a cry.

  • @cracker1208 The players in the video are an Australian and a West Indian. Don't drag an unrelated country in the fray to make your politically-motivated point.

And your choice of language should be better if you intend to take the morally high ground!

  • in a fight, perhaps ambrose would win. though in cricket, it's Waugh who displayed genuine class.

  • @ZiZouZeMan are you saying ambrose don't "displayed genuine class"? talking about class look at the way he played the second ball, was that "class"?LOL

  • @ZiZouZeMan

Yes he did, but so did Curtly Ambrose. They are two of the greatest players ever.

Warne reckoned that Ambrose was the third best player of their generation and I respect his opinion (on cricket anyway).

Ambrose did also get 7-1 once against the Aussies some time in the 90s (can't remember exactly when) - tell me that's not genuine class.

  • ambrose could beat the Hell outa him *from a non-west indiesian*

  • ambrose is such a gentle giant:)

  • Ambrose could break Waugh in half.

  • @lestephenois1 - yep he could've, but in the end, he didn't. The Waughs triumphed in the West Indies.

  • @lestephenois1 I wish Ambi had done that. Mentally disintegrate him with a fist to the nose. It would have been just and due rewards for a known cheat. Don't you guys let the charity work fool you.

  • Awesome bouncer. Ambrose usually bowled within himself, about 80-85 mph, using his long fingers make the ball dart about almost like a spin bowler, but, he had the ability to crank up the pace whenever he felt like it.

  • Steve Waugh was the King of Cool.

  • thats the cricket.....! both are lagends.

  • hahahahahahahahahahhahahhaa fuck aussies. gr8 ... ambrose u rock....!!!! hahahahha lmao

  • lol... i see shit staining waugh's pants...

  • "@monkeynogo" i remember this incident. in fact Steve Waugh mentioned this incident in his auto biography. Curtly was at his top form and all over aussies. Steve wanted to unsettle him. So after the first bouncer Steve told him "why don't u go n get fucked" for that Curtly fumingly came towards him n said "don't cuss me maaan". Steve initiated the verbal thing in this test n he paid heavily after this in that particular series. They lost the series and Curtly was named "Man of the Series".

  • @sachin10fan actually it's the 1995 series in the West Indies. Australia won 2-1 and Waugh was MOS. Don't Indians ever get sick of being wrong about cricket. Oh, and Waugh remained not out in this particular innings

  • this is good. fast bowling at his best

  • these aussies r so irritating bastards always use sledging in cricket

  • steve waugh for PM

  • two legends of the game, Ambrose was one of the greatest bowlers W.I has ever produced, but you gotta give Waugh some credit, it takes some balls to stand your ground against a 6"8 bowler who can hurl down balls at 90+mph. Fantastic moment to watch, there was no "winner" just two legends playing their hearts out

  • @kmrnzhr ambrose height is 6"7 not 6"8

  • go curtley how tall his he???

  • Ambrose is legend.

  • Dont mess with a WI fast bowler INSIDE WI !!

  • everyone saying "waugh got owned" you are OBVIOUSLY fucking retarded, waugh said to ambrose WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING AT? would you say that to a 7ft tall HUGE cunt like ambrose? NO. you wouldnt.. waugh stood his ground, he didnt even blink... all ambrose could say "dont you cuss me man"

  • @zacattack690

hey, why u using derogatory words for Ambrose.

Just coz, he got S. Waugh out in that fashion?

Get over it, shud never use that language.

P.S. yeah Man, Ambrose totally owned him, get over it.

  • @ mills2211 he didnt own any cunt, steve waugh is harder than him, he told him to fuck offf back to his bowling mark, so get over it mate, i saw the game

  • waugh said in his autobiography that he feared a physical pounding durin this confrontation.....curtly is a rockstar ...the last of the intimidators frm west indies

  • God, how I miss this kind of confrontation. One of the toughest batsman of all time versus one of the most intimidating bowlers. Neither will ever give an inch!

  • just because someone is 6'8 and black doesn't make them tough.............If I was in the trenches I'd rather have Steve Waugh leading me than Ambrose any day. There's never been a tougher cricketer than Tugga

  • "There's never been a tougher cricketer than Tugga"

Bullshit. Before his time, when batsmen didn't have the protection of Waugh's era, batsmen had to be far tougher.

  • OK then smartarse.....there's never been a tougher criceter in the modern era.

  • Arguable. Blokes like Border, Atherton and G Smith are tough as teak. You could say they're not 'tougher' than Waugh, but neither would I say Waugh is 'tougher' than them.

  • @Aussiephil99

Hey mate, when they say Ambrose is tough, they mean, 'on the cricket field', he can destroy you with those accurate bouncers.....

don't get intimated by this 6'8 giant

  • @Aussiephil99

but bowling unplayable deliveries at 90 miles per hour makes him tough.....he was by far the best bowler of his era....i love shane warne for the fact tht he rated him as the best bowler he has ever playd against.....

  • waugh got poond

  • Dats how wee play dee cricket in dee jungle, violence and intimida-shahn.

  • "Waugh got owned" .... yeah, he sure did. Only fired Curtly up so that he bowled shit, scored 200 and beat a powerful Windies team in the Windies to take the Frank Warrel trophy. But other than that, he got owned.

  • I would shit in my pants if Ambrose is bowling to me. "Curtly talks to no man"..

  • steve waugh said in his book that he rarely spoke to the bowler but this time he accidentally blurted out some words at ambrose. and he also remarked on the fact that the bouncer was a yard quicker

  • No, Ambrose did. Waugh didn't take a backward step

  • Looking forward to the Windies finding this aggression again, particularly against Australia (I am Aussie by the way). We love to see this intensity against the Australian team, too many teams are not tough enough on Australia and they cruise through too many matches. More of this would challenge the current lot and maybe just give them a higher status with the fans, like Waugh, Boon, Jones, Warne, McGrath, enjoyed.

  • @leighroypaddy73

I'm delighted to be able to say that someone is teaching you a lesson and it's England. The boot's on the other foot and it feels great.

I agree about the Windies though. I'd love to see Windies cricket on the rise again. I grew up in England thinking that Viv Richards was a batting god and that the Windies could always field a superb and intimidating team. Sadly, those days are gone.

  • miss him a lot all the best for westindies team hope u will regain ur glory of ferocious fast balling attack

  • This is unlike Curtley really. I've never really seen him going at a batsman except with the ball.

  • wish richardson did not pull back ambrose... and allowed him to smack steve waugh

  • Well, Curtly was a big, bad boy, but honestly, the batsmen has a helmet on, body armour under his clothes, and holds a cricket bat. If you think about it any bowler doing this shit doesn't want real violence to erupt or they'd be the ones in trouble.

  • steve waugh was and still is one of the toughest cricketers out, ricky ponting is one of the todays toughest..

  • ricky ponting is a faggot and you suck his balls

  • One of the great moments in test match cricket. All we need is more moments of passion like this and test cricket will be back!

  • now thats a contest ... one of the toughest batsman against one of the most dangerous bowler ... thats test cricket !!!

  • tht can never happen in 2020 ..!! test cricket rocks when a tough batsman is up against some of the champion bolwers ..contests like Waugh vs Ambrose, Mcgrath vs Tendulkar, Mcgrath vs Lara, Waugh vs Donald ..man that used to be treat to see them fight it out

  • @myriad82

Man 20/20 aint got nothing on Test, and i agree the wars which occur in test are not there anymore, sad to say that the BEST FORM OF CRICKET is slowly dying!!

  • @myriad82 oh you are a true cricket fan bro..you have said exactly what i wanted to say..

  • ha ha..go curtly..!!

I rem watchin this n curt was jus steamin in..literally terrifying..loved it..miss him!!

  • 2 legends going at it whats better

  • Both great players. For all the Waugh knockers, I'm sure Steve's near 11,000 test runs (and 32 tons) give him some small comfort. Not bad for being one dimensional.

  • Back under your bridge, troll.

  • u fuckin bitch..

. Whos needs your opinion asshol??

    u fucking hag....who are u bleedy faggot ???

    steve waugh's ass washer eh........

    oh.... yet another aussie bastard....

  • u dont remember what happened to David Hookes......do you??? u bleedy aussie dickhead.....dare not open ur shit mouth again...

    sala.....

  • LOL. Fuck you, racist scum.

  • racist?..thats u bitch..

  • u worthless shit...

  • @28Mojo1 that's ok mate, with no david hookes around anymore we're left having to bash and rob indian students for entertainment. Usually for no other reason than that they smell awful.

  • uh....we can very well see that from the way CA was licking BCCI's feet to get its players into the ipl...and u and ur countrymen robing whom u call smelly....i guess rudd was here last month. u know whats that for. dont u?

  • that steve waugh was a mouthy little fucker...what frame of mind do u have to be in to get into a verbal confrontation with ambrose!!!

  • Are you serious? Steve Waugh was renowned for saying nothing and being cool under pressure, which was why he was called the iceman. Curtley ambrose came and wanted to have words and waugh told him to jog on. Waugh now operates several charities. One operates in India. He turned down a lucrative IPL job this year because he was too busy with them. Anyone who questions his integrity has no idea and should never comment on cricket or steve waugh ever again.

  • As much as I hate some of the Aussie cricketers, Steve Waugh is a wonderful Australian and I have alot of resepct for someone who dedicate they life to charities. I know one of his charities supports the leppar's in India which no one would want to help so it reflects on how great Steve Waugh is....On another note, Curtley Ambrose will remain as one of my all time favourite players...What a bowler...

  • Ponting, Warne, Mcgrath and I believe clarke also have charities. It pisses me off all the Australian knockers out there when Australia has built them up. Who sent 2 billion dollars for the tsunami, Australians (Lilee I think) worked with Vaas and other sri lankans to make them competitive. Men like Fred hollows, peace keeping in the solomon Islands, E Timor, fiji. CA supporting the victims of Haiti ... do other countries do this on the same scale? I doubt it.

  • @monkeynogo Huge Waugh fan. He said in his book, which is a great read, that Curtly just came up and glared at him (ambrose never swore at batsmen). Waugh claimed he was shaken up and said "what the fuck are you looking at?" to which ambrose replied "Don't cuss me, man". Just an epic battle between two great cricketers.

  • @monkeynogo thats nice, but hes still a wanker

  • Yeah he is only one of the best bats Australia ever produced, probably the best captain ever, definitely the most sucessful captain in the history of the game, He has an order of Australia (like being knighted), he has since set up 2 charities and turned down IPL coaching gigs in the past because he was too busy. You're the wanker mate.

  • @monkeynogo that is absolutely correct... Steve Waugh was cool as cucumber and has done more than any other sportsperson for the poor and the needy..

  • @monkeynogo Steve Waugh is reputable cheat and liar. He claimed a catch of Lara in this very match which replays showed the ball touching the ground. He stated in his autobiography that he told Ambi "to fuck off" - up to that point Ambi had said nothing to him. Ambrose replied "Don't cuss me man" and that's when Richie pulled him away.

So stop this non-sense about Waugh and his imaginary integrity - its laughable.

  • Refer to my above comment as to why you're a moron. As for catches hitting the ground, Carl Hooper in an ODI against Australia in roughly 1995 claimed a half volley off his own bowling. When it was turned down he blew up and was pissed off that he wasn't believed, until he saw the footage afterwards, which clearly showed it bouncing. Is Carl Hooper a cheat because he made one mistake? As I pointed out earlier Waugh has a Order of Australia because of his charity work, what has Ambrose done?

  • @monkeynogo He can go stuff that Order up his arse. Throughout his career he was known, like many Australians, to claim bump catches. The Lara incident was just one of many. He started the obscene "mental disintegration" tactic where the Australians could swear, slander and in Glen McGrath's case spit at their opponents. Classy guy indeed. Keep up the hype about your hero kid but you ain't fooling anyone.
