Lady isn't pretentious, think she's tormented for strange reasons, doesn't have a monotone voice and doesn't intentionally throw herself in harms way for any reason at all, and when tramp comes around to see her she stands up for herself and turns him away because she thinks he is bad for her.

Also tramp doesn't think he's a monster or intentionally turn her away for vague reasons.

I'm sorry, but I thought that was kind of funny. The narrator sounds so happy, despite the images of these tearful dogs. And it kind of feels like he's rubbing it in the dog's faces. Like when you're REALLY hungry, and someone nearby is eating one of your favorite foods that smells delicious, and they keep rambling about how tasty and good it is.

I love this movie. I looked it up on Google and Barbra Luddy who plays Lady died in Los Angeles, California, in 1979 age 70 from lung cancer. Also the ones that play Tramp and Jock, Trusty, Aunt Sarah & others are also deceased. That's sad.
