actually fist inthe air the description in genesis is in line with modern cosmology and physics. It is not meant to be read literally, nor are the days literal days, genesis is a poetic explanation of a concept that would be impossible to explain to people at that time. And the bible is meant to be read both literally and metaphorically, however it is quite obvious when it is being literal and when it is being metaphorical, and even the metaphors have literal meanings.

But it is a dangerous delusion. To believe the Bible literally you have to ignore a lot of parts or be willfully ignorant of any logic. i.e. a "cubit" is about 1.5 feet so the millions of species that exist today could not fit unless they evolved from fewer species. Genesis 1 mentions evenings and mornings on the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Day. Then on the 4th day God creates the Sun. Lots of good metaphors in the Bible. But almost no literal truth.

the problem is the translations. the stories went from Babylon and Sumeria, to Rome, Greek, and Egypt. They mixed and meshed dieties and even from Hebrew (the Torah rearranged to be "Old" testament) to english. A LOT of meaning is lost. If you go back to what it ORIGIONALLY said, it makes MUCH more sense!

I have been in that Freemasonry Lodge in Wash dc. It's terrifying. They have a temple room that has a bible, koran, and Bhagavadgita on the alter. You can watch a video that tells you next to nothing about what happens in the place. Then I went to study in the library and read some of their literature. There was one book called something like ' The New World Order and the Christ Figure.' The book was written in 1918. George Bush, Sr. didnt make mention of the NWO till his presidency in 1988-92.
