I miss the old X-play with the skits and more reviews. now its about 2 reviews and a bunch of other FPS previews even though they are mainly the same.

the only recent skit was the DC universe fatality skit.

I miss the not so entirely serious x-play when adam got the shit beat out of him

oh man old school... god i miss those days. The G4/TechTV network is such a joke now. It's nothing but crappy WB reality shows. Attack of the Show is alright, but doesn't compare to what the screen savers were. X-Play is ok too, but it just beats around the bush too much and its so obvious morgan web is acting when she is reading game reviews and hosting.

This is when the show was awesome. A leaner, meaner, more news-based show, without the condescending, jaded attitudes and lame jokes they have now.

I think the show has improved since Gamespot TV. It almost seems that the hosts had no control then. The attitudes expressed on the show are simply expressions of their opinion (which is what makes Adam and Morgan critics anyway) And, as your name shows, you and the show probably don't always agree, so I can understand your sentiment. It's also important not to confuse the ironic humor on Xplay with the annoyingly "We're cooler than you" humor on AOTS. Xplaly is the only good show left on G4.

I wonder why Lauren Fielder left the show in the first place? I think Kate Botello purposely left to pursue other career areas. But I wonder about Lauren. I think I prefer this way the presented the reviews than the present overacting fake jokey sarcastic way they do it now. This was the way they presented the reviews up until they hired Morgan.
