The $260K Pratt and Miller handbuilt C6RS is the Corvette C6R racecar with a full interior, and has a 0-60 of about 3 seconds. It's a faster car than the Gallardo 0-60, also in top speed. If you look at the video... it's meaning less. There is no one giving them the 'go' there are no tracklights and according to the 0-60 magazine site... the Corvette had traction control on. Not a very good video.

The thing people have to understand also is there are comfort differences. A friend of mine has a Z06 and i remember sitting in the passenger seat and either the transmission or engine sent their heat through the car and made it hot. Also, people bitch about which car is fastest but really having 500 hp or more is way more than you need on the road. These cars aren't the ideal track cars if you're looking to win some type of event unless it's a stock car event.

uh dude.you do realize that a ferrari/lambo requires 10-15k mile service that usually costs over $10,000,and ive NEVER seen a vette break down under 100,000 with no major overhauls.Ive seen a 1984 ( a bad year for vettes mind you) Corvette with 325,000 miles with the SAME ENGINE AND TRANNY.Buy european if you want the name,buy american if you want the same thing but better that lasts way longer for less cash.From what ive heard from mechanics,most lambos break after about 10,000 miles.

well for the price,yes I think the ZR1 is a much better car than the Zonda,maybe not as exotic looking,but it has a quicker 0-60,1/4 mile,and similar if not better handing.Plus you have to consider,it is about 1/5th the price,and also,beat it around the ring : )

the Zonda is over $600,000,while the ZR1 is $105,000,quicker,handles almost as good,stops just as good,and gets better mpg haha.but seriously I get tired of people comparing the $100,000 ZR1 to a $500,000+ Maserati MC12,Enzo Ferrari,Zonda,Carrera GT... yes it may not handle quite as well,but its damn close,and usually accelerates almost as quick,if not quicker,and with a few $ just in intake,exhaust,raise SC boost, other small bolt ons(under $5k),etc...this car could easily destroy any exotic.

Ferrari makes beautiful,high quality cars,but at the same time,they are overrated,and overpriced.Considering a Corvette ZR1 (no it may not have the same build quality,or as luxurious an interior,but thats not what it was built for),can keep up with or outrun almost any ferrari,lamborghini,porsche etc out today for 1/3 the price,I think europeans need to learn the value of a dollar,just because a car is expensive,doesnt mean its worth it. Regarding Lambos and Ferraris, beautiful cars imho, but the Italians are artists before engineers. Want European build quality? Go German. Otherwise, Italy should stick to coach design and leave the engineering to Germany. But I've always been a sucker for affordable performance, and while this is arguably the Vette's best years so far, she's definitely still got more to show!
