All doctors want to do is give you pills, injections and steriods. They don't work long term. One of the best topical treatments my friends and I have found is Okika Polynesian Butter Cream, from Orchids of Hawaii. There's no synthetic chemicals or junk in it. From the first time, no itching & the redness starts to fade, the flaking diminishes & it's all natural, very healing and theraputic. It cleared up my friends severe Psoriasis that she suffered with all over her body (for 40 years).
Ive been to dermatologists & other doctors and nothing helps mine. First they said eczema, others said psoriasis, but all the ointments & creams make it worse, sunlight makes it worse. They didnt understand, I think Im allergic to something in the ointments. Mine is usually only a few small spots on my fingers but sometimes more comes up suddenly on the palm side. Now there is a patch on my arm & I dont know if its the same but dont know what to do. Hoping it will go away.
My fingers were cured like 6 months after posting this video - I didn't change my diet or applied any cream or... anything. It just went away on its own. Now recently it's back - but this time only around my left-hand-middle-finger which I'm (successfully) trying to fight with some cream and band-aid. I still have psoriasis on a couple of places on my feet. One large one which is "working its way" around the whole left leg and other random places including foot and ankle... Thanks for watching!
Wow this looks just like my hands...it started back in 06, with one dime sized blister by my right thumb...it has since spread from my right palm to my other hands. It cleared up for a few months a year or so ago and it showed up on my fingers. It's now affecting the growth of my nails and even making them fall off one by one. I can literally see the tiny blisters under my nails.
@BAMndza Oh dear lord... Nails falling off... I would go crazy!!! :-S
My fingers are fine now, you can't see it anymore - appart from on my left hand middle-finger, sometimes it comes back, but I'm using a cream called "Utrolig" (Incredible in norwegian, yes funky name), and I patch it up making sure it gets less air. After 24 hours I remove it and my finger looks like new, although 1 day is far from enough, so I have to cream up and re-patch right after again.
@izihbo I am going crazy...it is a horrible thing to go through. I can tell when a new nail is going to be affected. I'm planning on seeing a dermatologist soon...hopefully it isn't Psoriasis.
@izihbo Hi. I am from the US and have started developing similar patches on the tips of my fingers. It is spreading! I looked up Utrolig but I can't understand the Norwegian. Is there any way you could tell me the active ingredients so I can find something similar? Presently I use steroid creams and vaseline. They don't do much...
@scientrophic I used google translate for this, so it might not be 100% correct, the content of "utrolig" is: White petroleum jelly, peppermint, aloe vera, cinnamon, mint, bay, Benzoin, geranium, blue chamomile, niaouli, Cajeput, star anise, rosemary, marjoram, juniper, eucalyptus, marigold. I reminds of tiger balm. Good luck, let me know if you find out anything =)
@izihbo Awesome, thank you. I am an animal surgeon and musician, and gradually losing function in my hands is very stressful. Sounds cliche, right? But it's true. Thanks, again. Nice taste in music, btw.
@scientrophic Thanks, I'm not so sure you'd say the same thing about my musical taste if you had gone through some of my favorites though ;)
On topic; It's an awful thing man, cliché or not, it doesn't make it any less true. I sincerely hope you find a way around it, being unable to do your job (and many other things) is just -- not right... Please let me know how it goes.
Hi there. this looks exactly like a condition i've had for about twenty years now. It attacks my two index fingers and thumbs in more or less the same spots and much less so on my palms. Mysteriously it only appears in may/ june and dissappears promptly in September. It follows this pattern every year with out fail. For the rest of the year I have no problem apart from a little redness there are no signs of it. Water makes the problem a lot worse. I used to use antibiotic ointments...
The most common type of skin psoriasis is plaque psoriasis. The skin is red and covered with grey or silver scales and inflamed. also patches of circular to oval shaped red plaques that are itchy or burn. Normally the patches are found on the elbows and knees, but may be found on any part of the skin. Psoriasis can be inherited but is not contagious. The American Institute of Advanced Medicine has more information and treatment to eliminate your psoriasis. theaiam.com
@carolethecatlover i remember telling the doc that i was convinced it was some kind of fungal infection when I had it as it was so similar to the instances of severe Athletes foot that i had occur after my long distance runs, but he dismissed it outright saying it was Dermatitis, this was the moment it clicked in my head that GP's and even many of the specialists are nothing more than profiteers of suffering keeping us dependant on their useless drugs, aint been back since and healthier for it.
@brokynn there's a cure; buckets of time for body self reconditioning, and healthy organic living, after adopting this position I have removed this problem altogether.

From what I've heard, I'd stay away from cortisones and steroids and all that other crap these alleged 'specialist's' will have you try. Apparently they do far worse damage long term than they do good. YOu've got exactly what I have, and I'm sure stress plays a role, along with heridetary, environment, you name it. Good luck to us all. I'm still looking for a cure.
@carolethecatlover Hi, nah I don't have the blisters like is mentioned, but it is an interesting article. For what it's worth, I've been drinking carrot juice (friend's recommendation)every morning for the last month an hour before breakfast and it seems to have helped with my psoriasis. Not a cure so far, but it helps and I'll take what I can get:) Dave
@Wise2you I've seen the same thing as Carole. I started taking a "1-a-day" multivitamin and drinking more v-8 juice as a part of a new diet plan to go with my fitness schedule and the bumps, super dry skin, and huge sore on my ring finger started going away. If it cracks, bleeds, and looks infected make sure you peroxide and neosporin with a bandaid before you go to bed if you can. I've not been to a dermatologist yet but from what I've seen it's "dyshidrotic eczema." Good luck!
@1canshort if you still have the problem, I would like to share my experience with you. I had the same peeling problem for several months, and I used many kind of cream that didn't make it better, and later I found there is a kind medicine of cream can help, now my finger is gonna cure.
@jasonlee12345678 Hello! Yes, I still have the problem. It has come and gone for several years, but this latest attack has lasted for about 14 months. I try to avoid going to see a demotologist due to their lack of interest, but now I'm planning on going to see a private one next month. I have been using a cream called SUDOCREM for about 1 month, which seems to keep it under control, but is not the cure. In the past I used a cream called FLUBASON, which was also effective. Good luck!
@1canshort Actually I am going to say is my finger has becoming better than before, almost can say it is cure, I remember that bother me for many years too, since I came back from the US, I wonder it was beause I shake hand with a old man ,aafter shake hand I saw his hand has that kind problem, well, but now i have cure about 95%. I think the most important thing is don't use that kind sop which has some kind of camical that will hurt skin. any way, you are also found a medicine is a good news!
@lance153 To be honest, I have never heard of 'nail psoriasis', so I wouldn't know what advice to give you, other than what has been mentioned here in the comments, psoriasis cremes, exercise and healthy diet to name a few.
how are your fingers now? also are you sure it's not eczema? cause it looks like it could be, I have the exact same thing which started a year ago but my doctors call it eczema and say it will never be cured. how long have you had yours for, it might be an allergy, not necessarily food but a certain product (like an ingredient in soap) or environmental. Hope it's doing better!
@angelmist15 Hey, thanks for your response. As I've stated around here somewhere (this new YouTube comment-thing is confusing me) 6 months ago, my fingers are now "cured". You can't see it anymore - AT ALL. And I did nothing to cure it either, it just went away on its own. However I'm left with massive amounts of psoriasis on my legs now, itching alot. Very sore and ugly =(
@angelmist15 I also took a new picture of my fingers showing are they are right now. Unfortunately I cant link it here, I will try and send you a private message.
ive had this problem off and on for years. I have noticed that there are a few things that helps reduce the psoriasis. Proper sleep and exercise, and eating lots of fruits and vegetables. I hope this helps
@777konig Thanks for the advice. I have tried exercise and lots of sleeping, over a longer period although it didn't seem to make a difference. Although I'm not very good at eating 'very' healthy. I will give lots of fruit a try =)
I have the same problem, I bought cortisone 1% applied twice and the condition certainly improve. It seems to be triggered by stress and certain foods.
Well it's definately not stress. I've been home for the last 4 months, lost my job - though I'm enjoying it very much cause I'm spending alot of time with our newborn daughter. So... It would be interesting to find out what kinda food could trigger this on me. Mind you; My fingers are looking very good now, you can hardly see it anymore, I don't know why, cause I haven't done anything! Although my legs are looking bad now! Really dry, red and scaley :-(
Some days it doesn't hurt at all, some days are awful. Like right now it doesn't hurt at all. And it's not as bad as shown on this clip. But you can see its there.
I've been seeing this doctor, (who's a specialist) and he gave me a prescription or whatever you call on this cream... Which practically does nothing for me. He told me about the "4 steps". I'm currently in my 1st step - the cream. No clue what the next steps are :) I'll post something here when I know. Thanks for viewing!
It's still there, but not as bad - and not spreading either. Just a week after posting this video it seemed to slow down or something - and thats without doing anything!
omg..i got it on my fingers! How to cure this? Please advice. Thank you.
