I don't normally like food thats "different" but I've been to Japanese food places before...is it only gonna be stuff I've never heard of or will it have..lets say chicken teriyaki?? I assume the portions are big for $40?

@MysticDMBherb I actually went tonight with a friend. The portions are decent enough, but it's really the quality of the food that justifies the cost. I've never had such a tender piece of steak. My friend and I shared an appetizer (Buffalo fish and Chips), and then had the "Katana" which the menu says is enough for two (I agree, and we each have plenty of leftovers). It is more expensive than I would normally be comfortable with, but as a special treat, it really is perfect.

Went here in April this year for my hubby's 24th birthday. We had a blast and they were wonderful with our little girl. We met Harou Yazaki too. He came to our table a few times with a Japanese yo-yo, a Japanese origami top, and a set of Ninja stickers! And the FOOD! SO GOOD! We were able to try a little bit of everything. Be prepared to open your purse strings but I promise you it is WELL worth it!!! I can't wait to go again!

I went. The service has really got your back. I met a lady there on a blind date.

An hour into the date I came to the conclusion that things were not going well and commissioned the staff to assassinate her via shuriken.

They even went as far as to drop her into the dumpster when they were done as to not trouble me with the task of disposing of the body myself.

I'd definitely eat there again. The BAtto Jutsu was out of this world.

I'd strongly STRONGLY suggest that you eat something before leaving the house, because the wait to get seated is at least an hour, and the food takes another hour to really get movin'. Also, you'll have a LOT of fun. Make sure you save some cash for the magicians at the end. We ran out of cash.

For those who have never been to Ninja New York, I highly recommend eating there. Just make a stop on Hudson St. Kids will love it. The food is fantastic, best ever. The whole experience was awesome.
