  • It's cute. But it's still bang out of order. Treat him better!

  • I bet you spray him with that and that's why he reacts like that when it's behind the glass.. picking on a baby gecko.... what a punk

  • hes not angry hes striking at the moving object thinking its food feed him

  • AWWW thats just pathetically cute

  • he just looks hungry

  • THATS MEAN DONT SCAR THE POOR THING THUMBS DOWN I DONT LIKE THIS VIDEO

  • @horsiegirl3456 its only the geckos curiousness its kinda cute :)

  • they sell digestable sand at the pet store - this person should stop teasing their pet.

  • @jolenelupo7 i know right he has a problem i love my gecko

  • GUYS! Chill out about the sand impaction. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. But what can help keep it from happening is to use a sand NOT fortified with calcium with a grain size 5mm or smaller.

  • god dumbass doesn't know geckos live in deserts. and i asked about the sand in the calium sand is fine for geckos.

  • sand can cause impaction (which is fatal). they can accidentally eat the sand, the sand can get on their foodsource and then ingested, and they cannot digest the sand so they can have their little bellies burst from impaction and then die.use vermiculite or finely ground coconut rind, or lizard grass. The Calcium Sand is NOT good for your gecko either.

  • @EbonyBlutengel i heard that vermiculite is poisnos for your reptile

  • not mad curiuos

  • HIIIIIIYAH!!!

  • dumbass they live in the dessert. which means they live with sand. duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Comment removed

  • @MsLynette69 >implying all deserts have sand and never hard ground

  • xD Mine does that all the time. He is still young and though I feed him tons every day he is always snapping at the glass when I get close. It is kind of cute but also sad because they over-react so bad. xDDD

  • way to go man, that sand can kill him/her..

  • no problem the lizard is just curious

  • He's not angry at all. He's just thinking of the waterbottle as food. Every leopard gecko does that if they find something interesting and eatable. :>

  • Thats kinda a mean

  • toss the sand if you want your little bambi to live

  • no need for a guard dog when you have a pissed off leopard gecko siting at the front door ready to bite off your toe if you dare enter + look on the bright side you just saved yourself 300$ a year in home sucurity

  • why would u do that for all you know that thing has a concussion now

  • Wow what a surprise.

Another Leopard owner that has no idea what he is doing!

  • My gecko tries to biter the twezers that I use to feed him with

  • He attacked it because the water bottle was Packer colors boo packers!!!

  • what substance do you put at the bottom of the tank you know the white stuff

  • Cute lil' gecko!

  • fuck you

  • Everyone needs to back the fuck up, seriously. My leo jumps at her glass all the time, even when nothing is in front of it. She just does it. It doesn't hurt them nor does it stress them out, so quit worrying about someone else's animal, and go worry about the ones you probably do the same shit to in your own home.

  • U should change to repti carpet... he could get a blockage and die from the sand

  • @ThePATRIOT8597 - that usually only happens if they eat off the sand.

  • mine gecko cant understand his refection is him and jumps whenever it move :D

  • This gecko is so cute. I miss mine being that little and curious. Now he is just super lazy lol

  • Haah shes like you better get off my territory betch i may not got teeth but ill bite your ass lol

  • As it happens, leopard geckos, such as this one DON'T live in all sandy areas. Its kind of a mud sand mix. Sand can and does cause impaction, but some geckos manage to live on it fine (I personally wouldn't risk it but that's just me) It wouldn't really be stressing it out so much as kind of annoying it/hurting itself hitting the glass. It's most likely just trying to hunt it. When they are angry/scared they kinda scream. Besides, outsides of tanks need to be washed too.. Funny-ish vid :)

  • Your just torturing him. Give him his damn water!!!!!

  • oh ok so u wanna stress it out and kill it by putting sand in there?

i bet u feel like an animal saver

  • @crazymonkeyzane5 not stressing it just annoying it a bit (it'll live) and really some geckos live in sandy places maybe you should think about things before posting btw i bet you feel like a ignorant ass

  • @funwithsaucey nooh infact i feel so fucking guud mutha fukaa :)

  • This could cause mouth rot if it harms itself by bashing the glass too hard. Be careful!

  • He can fight for a leoperd gecko.

  • thats one brave little gecko you have there

  • Good mine was just born and struck to hard thanks for letting me know. Sorry about the words just worried.

  • That's funny but mean at the same time

  • GUYS, people tease their pets all the time. If he is not breaking any animal cruelty laws its none of your business what he does with his pet. In the eyes of the law, animals are PROPERTY.

I find this quite hilarious. Reminds me of the time my dog barked at a rock.

  • @XxAmayaSanxX Exactly, it's called playing. It's basically the same as tug-of-war with a dog

  • You moron my gecko died because he nailed his jaw on he side on the cage. It broke his jaw and he could not eat. He was going after a cricket.

  • @xxsaberwarrior564 I have a hard time believing a healthy Leo would break its jaw that easily. Unless he was low on calcium.

  • @Thevornjoandcoshow looks more like a patterless to me

  • how about you go bang your face into some glass a few times now. Cruel!

  • it can seriously harm its jaw if it jumps at a glass wall...

  • dude ur ganna brake dat jaw

  • get rid of the sand it can kill the gecko

  • @sonicss8 I have alot of my reptiles on sand and they have not died. Leopard geckos run into sand in the wild, in their "natural" environment. However, contrary to popular beliefe, they are found more on rock and slate than they are on sand. Adults can safely be housed on sand and juveniles can be housed on sand with alot of slate and still stay safe especially if they are fed in a seperate tank (which I do). I bet you believe superworms eat through reptile's stomachs too, dont you?

  • @sonicss8 it can but that is very unlikely i have had one in sand the whole time he dont eat it. i know lots of people who do that and thier geckos are perfextly find. Just worry about baby ones

  • @sonicss8 how?

  • @GoldenRize Its Called Impaction. Its When Living Things Swallow Something That Cant Be Digested. The Gecko Will Eat And Get Some Sand In Its Mouth And Swallow It And It Cant Digest The Sand. : / Some Animals Can Digest It Like Adult Bearded Dragons Can Be On Sand Because There Stomach Is Big Enought that The Sand Will Go Through(Depending On How Much Sand It Took In) Its A Risk Though.

  • @GeckoGuy09 It's sad that people don't learn and read about their pets before they buy one. I wan't a gecko but it's illigal in Norway :/

  • @GoldenRize Yeah I Know Right. When I Get A Pet I Study It And Learn About Its Before I Get One.That Sucks That Its Illigal In Norway. Do You Know Why?

  • @GeckoGuy09 It's just not legal with reptiles...

  • @GoldenRize Wow That Sucks.I Never Knew About That. If i Lived In Norway I Wouldnt Have Anything The Do :/

  • @sonicss8 how? i use sand for mine, how can it kill it. it seems harmless

  • @sonicss8 How?

  • @sonicss8 its called calcium sand

  • @sonicss8

That is only partially correct. It's bad for younger geckos because it can get ingested along with food if they have free roaming prey and cause intestinal blockages. But for adult geckos, and geckos that are a good size should be all right with sand. Besides, they might feed their gecko mealworms in a bowl, and therefore, it would be in no danger of ingesting sand.

  • @ColorMeStupid86 you are wrong. yea sure they might feed in a bowl, but the gecko is smart enough to know there is calcium in that sand and if the OP isn't supplementing enough calcium the gecko will eat just the sand itself to counteract its malnurishment.

  • @sonicss8 it is true that the sand can kill the gecko but it is only if the sand is to rough and if the gecko i too little i have som realtl fine sand and my 2 gecko's have no problems at all

  • @sonicss8 you DO know that they make special sand specifically for geckos, right? it's ultra-fine calcium sand.

  • @sonicss8 only if he's feeding live

  • @sonicss8 I've used sand for years... then again, it's ReptiSand and I mix it 50/50 with aquarium gravel... And I only feed out of a dish.

I think sand is only dangerous if you feed crickets and let them roam free, because if the gecko misses the cricket it gets a mouthful of sand.

  • @NeroJoe83 you are wrong for the same reason the other person was wrong. the gecko will eat the sand itself to get the calcium......

  • @sonicss8 yea and also don't mess with the gecko til its pissed off.... seriously??

  • /watch?v=y9iRxZfNFQI (plz leave a comment)

  • @ZonixZ59706090

Its not really safe at all in my eyes. Some people have used it no problem others have used it with nothing much problems. At the end of the day I would rather safe than sorry and face your leopard gecko having a heafy vet bill or death

  • @ZonixZ59706090

Impact means when the gecko eats some of the substrate and it builds up in their belly

Its very dangerous, sand is one of the worst things you could keep a leopard gecko on.

The safest thin to keep a leopard gecko on is Tiles, Lino or Kitchen roll (This is what I keep all 12 of mine on) For adults your able to use large bark chippings.

She might seem healthy and never been sick, but you cannot see whats happening in her belly.

  • I look at that as being cruel.

    1. The gecko looks to be hungry, why not a bowl of mealworms always prescent for him?

    2. You are teasing the gecko - causing stress on him

    3. Thats how to eat rub nose - that can lead to infections and then a vet bill

And for the sake of the gecko get rid of the sand, they can impact on it and die !

  • @gothicbabescharlie

What does it mean when they impact? :O

We use sand for our gecko, is it dangerous?

What should you use instead of sand?

However she's healthy and she has a fat tail. She's never been sick of any kind.

Is it safe then? Cause we've had sand for the past, 3-4 years with no problem.

  • Get rid of the sand

  • funny but i wont do it to mine

  • geckos are very house proud

  • ..if it really hurt the gecko.. i think it would stop >_> its not like the owner was bashing its face against the glass repeatedly themselves....I'm just saying..don't get your panties in a bunch people.

  • Your so crule to your lizard, u don't even diserve to have one! Ideots...

  • Your an idiot, and u wonder why his angry......

  • IS HE THIRSTY YOU KEEP DOING THAT ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE AND youll find a dead gecko!

  • That's just uncool! Poor gecko :(

  • thats not really that funny though is it... you dont deserve pets..

  • hope it turns all godzilla on your ass!

  • LOL wow.... that thing did look pissed but I think it was just hungry.

  • @Pop77o7 And y again do u think this is so funny???

  • @TheUsherJustin wow calm down dude. don't get so defensive.

  • @Pop77o7 i'm not getting defensive... just angry:(

  • nothing wrong here.. not a stressed gecko either.. he was just curios.. thought it was something to eat is all

  • jerk

  • mean

  • cocksucker

  • I have sand, however, I feed them in another tank with no sand. That works real well.

  • are they commom in austraila

  • @bjornjensen GO HUG A TREE DOPIE

  • @HardstyleGizom666 I´d rather make a hole in it and f*ck it. Like I did to your mom.

  • @bjornjensen yr rude!!

  • @bjornjensen it does not even stress the animal, it only makes him more curious.

  • @ciukcia98 Makes him more curios? A reptile? For fuck sake, some people are just too damn retarded! Go buy a hamster!

  • @bjornjensen does it make you feel superior to post dhit on peoples videos?only happy leo's would do this, i know that for a fact because i have to and play with them like this every once in a while, its easy to tell the difference between stressed and happy

  • @comanderkuddles Have to do it now and then? Jeez, for fuck sake. Its a damn reptile.. They dont get shit into their brains besides food! jesus christ, people amazes some times.

  • @bjornjensen10 mine are actually very smart, they know the soung of their water dish being placed into their tank, when they hear ir they bolt to it to get a drink of fresh water, they know te sound of me gettingready to feed them by dusting crickets, not all lizards are stupid, some are really smart, hell, mine even come out when they hear my voice, and look at me like they are paying attention, and they are leopard geckos.

  • @comanderkuddles Have to do it now and then? Jeez, for fuck sake. Its a damn reptile.. They dont get shit into their head besides food! jesus christ, people amazes me some times.

  • @bjornjensen10 wat the fuck are you talking about

  • @bjornjensen It wasn't stressed, lizards easily and commonly think that anything is food. My Bearded Dragon thought my Xbox controller was food and literally tried to eat it. Same scenario with this gecko and my gecko as well. He/she just thought it was food and tried to get it.

  • @bjornjensen you're an idiot

  • @bjornjensen fuck you, hes not stressed, hes just hungry, or curious, i tease my leo like this ll the time, i will put my face up the the glass and move it to opposite sides and she always turns and looks at me like "what the fuxk are you doing?" and this leo is doing the same. does it make you feel superior to troll peoples videos?

  • @bjornjensen How is this stressing out the animal? My Leopard Gecko does this all the time with ANYTHING near his cage. He thinks he can eat everything. I'll never understand you people.

  • @bjornjensen yes

  • He is either bored, hungry, or simply curious. Also, you obviously don't know that persuading him to jump into the glass is dangerous. It can knock out teeth very easily, but more importantly, it can cause sores that lead to mouth-rot. Please don't do this again. And anyone reading this, also. If you care about your Leo, do your research number one... but above all, use common sense with things like this or when you're not sure of something. Take care.

  • yeah its cute, but why do you have to make him headbut the glass ?

  • AWwwwwwwwwwww it's adorable :D

  • @lilmissangel26 mabe... But wuts he is doing is not right:(I'M FOR NATURE<3<3<3

  • Yeah he is teasing him but its not that bad

  • actually i think its cute lol

  • dont use calcium sand!!!!

  • @remas14 its not calsium sand, its normal play sand, and play snd is better than calcium sand

  • @comanderkuddles oh ok then yea that should be ok. remember that carpet is better than sand tho. even in their natural habitat, they live on rocks, not sand

  • @remas14 i know i had reptile carpet but now they are on coco fiber because thats what they were raised on and i have had no sign of any problems unlike my leo being impacted after being on calcium sand for a month, but shes fine now

  • what is the morph ?

  • I gotta feeling, somebodys watchin' me {Lol i see where they get the Geico commercials

  • your mean..imagine if you lived in a cage and you were teased by a waterbottle

  • retard

  • not cool..

  • i bet he hates you to

  • ill go and beat ur arse!

  • sand,i'd change to paper towel,or reptile carpet. :[

  • @karaskritters100 I agree. Yesterday I had to take my little leo, Bongo to the vet because sand and shed skin got in her eyes and they were infected. One eye still is injured and she may go blind in that eye. She usually keeps it closed now. The cost for her eyedrops was ONE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE DOLLARS!. I now use paper towel instead.

  • @FurryWolfehMind why the fuck would you spend that much money on a lizard? just buy a another one.

  • @pezilla123 I hope you never own an animal.

  • @BlackScythe0 i own 5 id spend money on big animals not a small one.

  • @DezDevo disrespectful! So wut??? It could be her keyboard or somthing

  • you sir, are a complete moron!!

  • Why get a animal if your gonna torment it?!

  • @casper5126 Yeah, I know. I got the name from Mortal combat, I named him that because hes a little fighter and use to bite me whenever I picked him up. But now hes as gentle as a kitten. :)

  • dont do that so much he was ramming his head against the glass he could really hurt himself :(

  • that is so funny.

  • ive had my leopard gecko for bout 8-10 years........ and all shes done is sleep and eat.

  • @B4Biggles same except 1 1/2 yrs
