Marco Pierre White is the best Chef the UK has ever produced... but Keith Floyd is the best spokesman for food and wine, and life and travel and the joy that comes with that lifestyle. He makes you want to cook... whereas with the countless thousands of cooks on TV today, it's all either too complicated, or you're being talked to as if you're a child. Keith Floyd was the real deal, such an awesome guy! Chin chin old bean! RIP

One of my absolute favorite books is 'Floyd on France.' Even for a cookbook it's littered with documentation on his travels through the real parts of France. A great reflection.
