  • Oh my god. Poor Buffy... What season was this? It had to have been after Season 3 because that is only how far I've gotten. I am all teary up writing this...

  • simply beautiful...made me cry just watching it!

  • now i dont usually cry when i see something emotional on tv or film(except the ending of toy story 3 :P), but when anya makes her speech, it always makes me cry :( its only cus she doesnt understand :'(

  • Where did you get the music?!?!?!

  • How did she really die?

  • @Thesingingclaire brain aneurysm according to Wikiepedia

  • Don't know why people say the saddest part was anyas, it wasn't to me, that that Dawn being told.

  • =,(

  • Can you tell me what the name of this song is? And where I could buy it? It's so pretty! And I love this video :)

  • The saddest part of "The Body" was Anya. I'm sorry to say it but that's damn sad!!

"I was having fruit punch and I thought, 'Well, Joyce will never have anymore fruit punch. Ever. And she'll never have eggs, or yawn, or brush her hair. Not ever and no one will explain to me why!"

D': You can't tell me you've seen "The Body" and didn't cry at that part, c'mon! :D

  • Great episode that define the way viewers see life.

  • awesome job...very effective with the quotes

  • i want to know the name of the song to, if anyone knows the name of it. please tell!

  • Where did the get the background song from ive been looking for that for a while! What is it called so i can try to find it or somthing. Thank you!

  • @AhlukaInteractive Chris Beck- "Close Your Eyes"

It's also on the Buffy soundtrack ;)

  • OMG Thats sooo sad...could u maybe try to uploade the ep?..

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar, outstanding performance. At least after buffy died, she discovered heaven did exist, and maybe her mother was there. That's a nice notion.

  • The saddest quote is with Anya. That part makes me want to cry every time I watch the episode! ]=

  • @SaviorRina it makes me cry every time i watch the episode

  • this episiode was so sad but i think the gift is the one thats realy sad at the end

  • The thing about this episode that I love is that it's so real. I loved that there was no bacground music since that's how it is in real life.

When I watch a tv show I don't really notice the music till it's gone. It's like that when somone dies. You miss things you never really noticed was there.

  • the reason this episode was so good, was because joss decided to use no music. Buffy always got praise for it's score, but this episode had no music. So moving.

  • I cried so hard :( I think SMG is a very very good actrice, I also think that anya was a very good actress too, she could be so funny and sad at the same time.

  • sarah michelle gellar her acting was AMAZING in this episode.. Kudos to her

  • That first scene was shot all in one take!

Sarah is really awesome. So is Alison.

  • I love this video, and how you were able to pack all the emotion from the episode into the short amount of time. and pairing it with the Buffy/Angel theme is amazing, the music makes me get teary eyed on its own, but with the photos and dialogue I am left with tears running down my face

  • i'm in season 5 and im still in the earlier episodes. i stopped watching cuz i was afraid to get to "the body". im lame. i know.

  • Go for it. "The Body" is the episode that really turned me on to Joss's work, especially Buffy. My father had died not long before that episode aired, and I think they handled the situation very well in the series. I hadn't really watched it much, so I bought all of the previous years on DVD and I couldn't be happier.

I think I'll pop in season one and start from scratch again. :)

  • nah. i dont have the guts to do it. im stuck in buffyboards talking to people about buffy rather than watching it.

  • So sad.. Close your eyes was the perfect song for this..

  • that episode is amazing!! but one of the saddest thouggh the 5th season was so sad and i love all the anya parts<3

  • i find anyas quote to be one of the sadest....

  • wow good job but very sad :(

  • Great!!

  • this song makes me cry lol

  • it's the Buffy and Angel theme by Christophe Beck... one of the most touching music, imo.

  • I think the video would be good instead of pics of the scene with audio. Actual scenes from the movie to see the emotion of the characters

  • this is really sweet. do know what the song is called?

  • This is the Buffy/Angel love theme by Christophe Beck :)

  • wow thats sad and its true you dont know wats gone untile its gone for real i mean i have faced a lot of deaths in my life and for the hardest one for me was that i didnt even get to say goodbye to them i just left to go to school get home and he's gone for ever

  • That is true. Thats my biggest fear, never having the opportunity to say goodbye or even go on without someone im close too.

    Guess thats life

  • i want someone to put a video up of just the sad scenes without all the music in the backround!! ( not talking about this one btw i luved it!!!)

  • me too i wanna see that episode without music, I know it's already sad itself but I wanna get the full emotion of it without any blahy u know

  • Beautifully done!

  • thanks for the video of this very moving tv moment, nicely done, nicely done...

  • I cried so much when I first watched this episode. I love this show!!!! Btw this video rocks!!

  • thanks everyonee (:

  • this episode made me cry for like 2 hours and i cant even watch it cause it makes me burst into tears everytime

  • Ohhhhh geeze, I cannot watch that episode mostly due to this scene I break out into tears EVERYTIME I watch this video and you have done a wonderfull job with this video great job doing this Poor Buffy I felt so sorry for her I hope I can make a meaningfull video for Buffy like this well done and breath taking five stars...

  • Hey, it was a great video, sad but great. one question though. im not sure whether its because i only ever watched this episode on t.v and they cut it out or whether its diffirent on dvd or whether i just missed something all together, but i havent seen the bit with Giles in the room before, or the bit where buffy says joyce is cold. Does anyone know why? Great video!

  • Just a thought - the thing that was most powerful about this episode and really made it mind-blowing was how they used absolutely no music throughout the whole thing.

This is reasonably well put together, but to me it seems to miss the point a little? Just my opinion.

  • Yeah, cuz all sucky TV shows run 7 seasons and have a huge fan base. (note sarcasm) Why are you watching videos of things that you hate anyway?

  • LOL, Oooooooo burn good one wickedwillow and shadowofblood if you hate the show so much don't watch any videos dedicated to it this just proves your an idiot...

  • i hate it when they killed joyce

but the only good thing is that they did not let her die by glory or something otherworldly and that she died a natural death i thing that is why this is so hard to accept her death to all the buffy fans out there

  • that was great..it gave me the chills and not too many youtube videos do. Especially when it's just a bunch of pictures with some music and voice. 5/5

  • Very beautifull! So simple and sad!

I is amazing how you captured those moments...

  • So sad! Love buffy!

  • is this the tune that ALWAYS plays with the sad moments between Buffy and Angel?

  • Yes. this is the buffy-angel score. They played it heaps in season 2 and 3.

  • thought so, thanks.

  • It's called "Close Your Eyes (Buffy/Angel Love Theme)" and it's composed by Christophe Beck. It's included on the Buffy soundtrack. (The original one, not Radio Sunnydale.)

  • Aaaaaahh! Not this song. T_T

I always choke up when I hear it.

And you had to add it with the body...

Man, it's just one big sobfest.

    Great vid, by the way.

  • Where found the real scene ? please telle me on messagerie

  • touching.

  • This is an awesome video. One of my favorite parts in that episode was Anyas speech. Manly cause she doesn't show much emotion, and she does and she did a great job with it:)

  • Thank Youu:]x

  • Yes, is really sad, This video is so great.

  • I never thought Buffy's mom would die.

    That is very sad.

  • Sooooooooooo sadddddddddddd! (So Sad!)

I had tears in my eyes! Poor Buffy and Dawn!

  • i cried in this :(

  • Thank You=]

  • This is really neat.

  • awesome

  • powerful
