I can't say why they would turn to that as I've never cut myself, so I don't really have a right to talk about it. Glam is a genre that includes Poison, Scorpions, and other hair metal bands.

i think the word "emo" is a politically incorrect term and an insult for people to use on others who cant seem to deal with the fact some people have problems and in fact r depressed and do show it because they cant hid it. anyone who would pick on someone that is obviously in a dangerous emotional state is pathetic no matter what that persons reasons r for being emotionally unstable r. the making fun of only makes it worse and eventually if you keep on picking and bullying them they will break

It's a shame they had to do that to get recognized in the US. MY POINT....Americans don't do a good job recognizing QUALITY music. Prime example MUSE was forced to open for My Chemical Romance in the US,

Gerard from MCR said it was an HONOR to be playing with MUSE. What does MUSE have that Saosin doesn't?....talent, musicianship, complex arrangements....amazing face melting guitar solos, complex piano arrangments...respect from some of the best musicians alive today. Jimmy Page and Brian May (you probably don't know who they are) are fans of MUSE.

@LennonPeartDawkins Haha, I gave up on the radio a long time ago. I've been listening to Muse since Origin of Symmetry. Micro Cuts got me hooked. And most of my friends listen to hardcore, which I'm not a fan of, but I've given it a go. I've played in bands that have played all different kinds of music and have met a lot of bands of all different kinds of music that I enjoy. Fact is, I like the music I like but if I dislike a music I'm not going to bash on it like some LennonPeartDawkins douche.

@LennonPeartDawkins That's what the genre is, it's emotionally charged music that comes from the heart and soul. Emo is not a music genre, rather a lifestyle. Some people have disorders such as anxiety or depression, some people just can't deal with the pressures of life, so they harm themselves. I can't say why they would turn to that as I've never cut myself, so I don't really have a right to talk about it. Glam is a genre that includes Poison, Scorpions, and other hair metal bands.
