You're absolutely right. Zappa is one of the most literal lyricists in the music business and his lyrics are not for everyone. His lyrics were mainly off shit he came up with unless he had a personal vendetta. I place Zappa on a higher level than most every "rock star" ever. He didn't drink much and didn't use drugs often yet he wasn't a boring person, and still proficiently wrote great music and still probably had as great a time as any coked up drunk stoned musician. Zappa was revolutionary, and kids should look up to Zappa moreso or instead of Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton or someone else like them. I do support occasional drug use and drinking, but the point is I think Zappa was self-actualized.
