I wonder if anyone has ever considered that black people can be burned by the sun and may be desperate to get their normal complexion or birth complexion back.I have had sun damage from walking/exercising while in the sun and the front of my neck and my face became darker than the back and the rest of my body.I see nothing wrong with someone lightening their skin in order to achieve an even tone/complexion.That's just my opinion.I have not done so,but I'd do what I had to as long as it's safe.
You need beauty on the OUTSIDE as well as INSIDE. Don't just be one or the other. Face it, looks matter and improve your chances it like. When I hear about black women trying to bleach their skin in order to look lighter, it truly makes me cry. As a 19 year old female who has been suffering from Vitiligo (also know as Leucoderma) since I was 14 years old. I would do ANYTHING to be a beautiful dark shade. I wonder if anyone has ever considered that black people can be burned by the sun and may be desperate to get their normal complexion or birth complexion back.I have had sun damage from walking/exercising while in the sun and the front of my neck and my face became darker than the back and the rest of my body.I see nothing wrong with someone lightening their skin in order to achieve an even tone/complexion.That's just my opinion.I have not done so,but I'd do what I had to as long as it's safe.

In my opinion, this is not about condeming someone for bleaching their skin, it is about letting that person know they don't HAVE to bleach their skin. I love my original shade of brown more and when i've got such a big difference in my skin tones i can't even use my make up because im not that shade anymore. So i do some natural remedies like exfoliating daily and rubbing lemon on the face to bring about my natural me.

@CudiSoDopee "you dont put a weave". ok sooo what ??. black girls dont put weave because we hate our natural hair. for me its just about changing hair styles. white girls put weave, Asian girls put weave. but thats not because they have curly thick afro hair?. skin lightening can have some dangers. but so does tanning. some black people want lighter skin. and some white people are trying to become darker. and oh my cousin is mixed raced, and she goes to the tanning salon.

@123suziiee Yes i know. but this that was just an example. I hear many (not all) MANY darker black girls say i dont like how dark i am or ooh light skin is beautiful. well why isnt dark skin? And why do they perm there hair.? i think natural hair is more beautiful but thats just my opinion. I know everyone alters there look.
